These shoes of ours… They take us to the most amazing places, races, goals, dreams and workouts.  I thought it would be fun to do a running shoe giveaway today!

Running is my therapy. For years I struggled to cope with anxiety and depression. I tried medications and so many other techniques, but running saved my life. It centers me and allows me to leave it all on the road.

It’s time for me. No calls, texts, emails, social media. Just me and nature. My thoughts, my breath, my body. I feel everything and nothing. I think about everything and nothing. It makes me feel strong, accomplished, powerful, yet humbles me every single time. It both scares me and soothes me. And it is always there for me. No matter where I travel I can run. When I come back from any injury or illness, I can lace those puppies up and get back out there. And whether I tackle another marathon, half marathon or run ‘just’ a few miles…it totally counts.
