Sentence Per Picture!

When we got out of our cars this morning we both looked at each other and said, ‘I’m grumpy’…. and then by the end of the 4.25 miles together we were laughing and in WAY better moods.

Brooke read about Rumpelstiltskin with grandpa while they both ate frosted mini wheats.

Just the usual stretching routine—>  I try to stretch and Brooke tries to make it so I can’t stretch:)

We are celebrating Thanksgiving today so we went to visit some turkeys and Brooke did a killer job mimicking their movements and sounds.

My mom needed to go up to Salt Lake City so we made sure to join her.

While we were there my mom found my new favorite sweater ever (FYI my mom picks out approximately 85% of my clothing… I’m not even exaggerating, you can even ask her) and the sweater is 40% off online—>  HERE (I got it in pink and navy and I’m going to live in them).

Lunch at our SLC favorite (Jason’s Deli) and I had the extra large baked potato.

I’ve been in a silly mood today because I actually spoke to a guy I have a crush on at work. I am 31 but apparently still in high school.

Honestly, I need to get more sleep every night. I probably average 6 or so, which is better than it used to be but still not enough.

Lately, I’ve been getting a lot of sleep and going to bed before 9pm. I kind of love it. :)

Mood today has been good, but I was grumpy yesterday! A run with a good friend is the best medicine!

I usually get enough sleep but last night was a short night!

If rushed was a mood that would be me, but I guess whichever mood comes from being rushed! It’s hectic getting ready for the holidays, but I’m about to go do mile repeats so I’m sure I’ll be in a better mood in no time, too!

Lunch was SO random. Ground turkey + 1 egg + leftover brussel sprouts and cauliflower. Can you tell I’m about to go out of town?

I used to get so much sleep until I started blogging :)

My mood has been truly thankful lately. I have been very thankful for my family lately. They are the best!

A good run is the best cure for any sort of bad mood. I was feeling unmotivated and unproductive today until I ran, which is why I love morning runs – they set the mood for the whole day.
Lunch was oven baked golden sweet potato fries, roasted broccoli & carrots, and an egg. Favorite lunch as of lately!
I usually get enough sleep – I get grumpy without it!

I had to eat lunch in my car today as I only had 30 minutes off and I had to drive to another location :-( I had a Starbucks Cheese/Fruit platter. I really should just make those things myself!

Busy! I’ve been too busy to have a mood hahah. this work week is only 2 days for me, so i have a LOT to get done in two days.

I DO get enough sleep, but I always want more. But I need to run, so I dont get the amount of sleep i would like…. i want like 12 hours a night haahha

I slept late due to my cold meds so I was slightly groggy today. My mood is good though. (I did get a lot of sleep last night)!

I make egg salad by mixing the hard boiled egg with some avocado, I’m not a mayo fan. I had it on sprouted grain bread with some salmon. Salmon and avocado are supposed to help even out your mood and I do feel pretty good this afternoon.

I tend to wake up when I’m worried so sleep is something I sometimes struggle with. I do have tricks for getting back to sleep which mostly work.

I’ve been grumpy today too, but I’m hoping my run later will pull me out of it! Lunch today was tuna salad with a sweet potato because I’m addicted to them and eat them at almost every meal.

I’m the kind of person who needs a solid 8 hours to feel normal and happy. But I’m not always disciplined about going to bed at the same time so I can get those 8 hours in. Something to work on!

I am usually in a good mood. If I am miffed about something, I acknowledge it and move on…and if that doesn’t work a good hard/fast run will wear it out of me.

Today was crispy noodle cake with chicken, bok choi and red peppers.

I get 9 hours of sleep a night.

That potato looks good…Yummo.

Mood today has been happy! I did a 4.5 mile run in the snow with a friend –> can’t beat that! I followed it with eggs, toast and hot cocoa.

I have a 12-week-old son… so that should answer the sleep question. :)

Sleep is my favorite. It makes the biggest difference on my mood so I’m trying to prioritize it and make sure I get enough. I should write it in my calendar :)

I’m in a decent mood. I had cream of tomato with chicken and orzo soup and a small container of stir fried veggies for lunch.
I keep falling asleep on the couch when I get home from work and wake up at midnight. Then futz around a bit before going to bed for real. So I’m getting a total of 7-8 hours but only 5 or 6 in bed. Lol.

I swear I crave potatoes every time I visit your blog!! My mood has not been too great – been “resting” after my half marathon this past weekend and I think not running is driving me crazy. Getting enough sleep is a must for me – I need at least 7 to function! When I have kids one day, I know I will miss these days, lol.

I’ve been grumpy too. My girls have been waking up way before its time. Today they were up at 5:30. Nope! Made for a super grumpy morning. I think I had a frozen pizza for lunch today but it’s all a blurr.

My mood has been mostly good today, though a little extra randomly emotional, which I could do without.

Lunch was a turkey and swiss sandwich and chips. We eat way too many sandwiches.

I’m so bad about getting enough sleep. Well, I’m not terrible, but my boyfriend will never go to bed early, so it’s harder to make myself go to bed alone.

You are lucky you’re Mom has good taste! My Mom is always trying to buy me clothes and they like something she would wear. I tell her not to buy me clothes, but she doesn’t get it that I really do not like her taste.

My mood today has been pretty good, especially because I got in 4 miles early this morning and I got to hear my sweet baby’s heartbeat at the doctor today. Oh and I had Cafe Rio for lunch which made it even better! As for the sleep thing, I have such a hard time! My body won’t shut down :(

My mood has been better than yesterday! I’ve been a bit cranky lately..

It’s a constant battle for me to try and get in enough sleep. I need more than 8 hours, but I usually only get in about 7. :S By the weekend I am exhausted!

We have a Jason’s Deli going in by us and I’m excited to try it! My mood today was anxious but thankfully the anxiety has subsided. Lunch today was broccoli cheddar soup from Panera. Yum! I do well with getting enough sleep (for me that’s 8 hours). Some nights are harder than others but in general I do well.

My mom totally picks out clothes for me too … And she does a way better job than I do for myself :)

My sleep has been so awful lately. Two weeks of insomnia and the meds my doc prescribed are totally NOT working. Hoping all the turkey over Thanksgiving will help knock me out!

Mood has been ehh. I want my toe to heal so I can run again!!

Lunch today was oatmeal with chocolate chips and Greek yogurt! I tend to sleep like a rock unless I have to get up early, then I always seem to wake up an extra hour before I need to be, grrr!

I actually have a FitBit Charge that tracks my sleep and it says I usually average around 8 hours per night! :) I am a little restless sometimes though. (I don’t have any kids either which is probably why I sleep so much!)

Mood today was in the Christmasy spirit (is that a word?) as we put up our Christmas lights on the house!! YAY!

My mood has been pretty good…the holidays can be so stressful, but I try to remember what’s really important and how lucky I am to be surrounded by wonderful friends and family.

I had a delicious veggie sandwich with hummus on it for lunch!

Getting more sleep is definitely something I need to work on…i.e. it’s almost midnight on the east coast and I still have a bunch of stuff to do before going to bed.

My mood has been pretty good all week. I’m already on Thanksgiving break though, so that definitely helps!

We had our favorite fast food lunch today – reward for an extra long walk with the dog!

I’m religious about being early(ish) to bed. If it’s past 10:30 and I’m still up, there must be something big going on.

Oh my goodness at your coach putting sleep into Training peaks! That’s so awesome. I aim for 8 hours per night but let’s be real, it’s normally about 6! haha!

I get about 8 hours every night but I could very easily get 9…I find any more or less and I am more tired! I got to be most weeknights around 9…very exciting life:)

we make turkey noises at our dogs and the little one goes crazy, its hilarious. my husband is pretty good at doing it too. that baked potato is HUGE!!!

So I work at a food company and we tried Cuban sandwiches today! Yum….

I honestly need some motivation to get moving and running again after my marathon. I’m taking this recovery thing too seriously :)
