Look who is back in my life!!! My dad brought my spin bike in last night (it has been in storage in our garage for over a year now) and it felt so good to be spinning again. Spinning comes in second on my list of favorite workouts.
Because I am very injury prone I really have to be careful getting back into running after a tough race. My IT Band was a little sore for a few days after the race but it is back to normal today so I did an easy 3 miles on my treadmill (@ an 8:34 pace) followed by some randomness in my ‘home gym’ (yes, I feel cool because of this little area in the basement. Feel free to come over and use it).
5 minutes spin (sprints/hills/jumps)
50 jumping jacks (off the bike;)
1 minute plank (on my elbows)
repeat 6 times.
Total workout this morning was an hour and it went by really fast with all of the variety.
Albion Fit sent some awesome gear for me to try out. The Sweet Stripe Full Zip is beyond comfortable.
My favorite parts about the jacket:
1. It is long. It is long. It is long. I do not like jackets that are short if you can’t tell.
2. The ruffled zipper. I have never seen a jacket with this and I think it is absolutely adorable.
3. The thumbholes because for some reason girls just love those.
4. The color scheme (they also have a charcoal/grey one and a seafoam/grey one)
She is telling me a really good story in the below picture.
I picked out the Stamina Shorts specifically to use on my spin bike and they worked great this morning. They stayed in place, I loved the thick waistband (that you can fold over too) and they were super comfortable.

The love racer tank in silver is functional and cute at the same time. I love workout shirts like this where I know my body will stay in place and I can feel confident in how I look, letting me focus on trying to look less ridiculous doing the workout itself and using proper form.
