Look who is back in my life!!! My dad brought my spin bike in last night (it has been in storage in our garage for over a year now) and it felt so good to be spinning again. Spinning comes in second on my list of favorite workouts.
Because I am very injury prone I really have to be careful getting back into running after a tough race. My IT Band was a little sore for a few days after the race but it is back to normal today so I did an easy 3 miles on my treadmill (@ an 8:34 pace) followed by some randomness in my ‘home gym’ (yes, I feel cool because of this little area in the basement. Feel free to come over and use it).
5 minutes spin (sprints/hills/jumps)
50 jumping jacks (off the bike;)
1 minute plank (on my elbows)
repeat 6 times.
Total workout this morning was an hour and it went by really fast with all of the variety.
My favorite parts about the jacket:
1. It is long. It is long. It is long. I do not like jackets that are short if you can’t tell.
2. The ruffled zipper. I have never seen a jacket with this and I think it is absolutely adorable.
3. The thumbholes because for some reason girls just love those.
4. The color scheme (they also have a charcoal/grey one and a seafoam/grey one)

I picked out the Stamina Shorts specifically to use on my spin bike and they worked great this morning. They stayed in place, I loved the thick waistband (that you can fold over too) and they were super comfortable.
