Happy Sunday :)

I bought everything pumpkin in Bath and Body yesterday! Never too early for pumpkin!

Reply

I’m waiting until September (so tomorrow!) to bust out my pumpkin candles and the pumpkin candy dish full of CANDY CORN and dark chocolate m&ms. Basically these are my favorite things about fall.

Reply

Looks like a great Sunday. Sadly I work every Sunday but I’m hoping to get a run in after!

Reply

3 sisters….never too early for pumpkin…..best part about my Saturday was running the Women Rock 10k with my girls.

No time pressure just out to have fun and it was!! And I found out a couple of glasses of bubbly at 9;45 am after running 6.2 miles tastes mighty fine! Mmmmm!

My Sunday is just getting started so the coffee and blog reading so far is my highlight. ;-)

I don’t want to talk about the amount of times I’ve burnt myself and blistered. Sadly most are because of a hair straightener. I guess I should be more embarrassed.

Reply

I have an older sister and a younger brother. It’s definitely never too early for pumpkin! I order pumpkin spice coffee to drink year-round. :) The best part of my Sunday is that I’ve got no plans, so plenty of time to get stuff done!

Reply

What a fun day! We have exciting Sunday plans today, we are going whale watching and are spending the night in Victoria, BC. I love little getaways :)

Reply

Looks like you had a fun weekend with your family!
I have a brother and a sister in law.
I think pumpkin is acceptable starting in September! August is just too soon for it.

Reply

1 sibling for me. I don’t really think it’s ever too early for pumpkin! Best part of my Sunday will be shopping with my whole family for the kids back to school clothes :)

Reply

You sure have one huge family! What dressing’s on my subway sandwhich, by the way?

Reply

I’m an only child but grew up super close with my two first cousins (both girls, one my age one two years older) so they are like sisters to me…And my son these days seems to forget he is the child and I am the parent so he acts more like some big brother or something…Never too early for pumpkin, I eat it year round!

Reply

I have a younger sister and brother. There’s a pretty hefty gap between us, five between my sister and I and 10 between my brother and me. It’s never too early for pumpkin everything! Best part about my Sunday is an easy 6 mile run.

Reply

September 1 is my start of pumpkin .
Best part of my Sunday, cookout with friends tonight.
I feel like volunteering to bring dessert and making your peach crisp.

Reply

I have one sister(younger); she’s my best friend!

I start my pumpkin baking after apple picking, usually mid Septemebr. We are having a heat wave this next week, so it feels like August, not fall. I need more watermelon!

Right now I am trying to force myself out of bed to try and run on the treadmill (my pulled glute isn’t quite healed) and force my husband out the door for his long run in the 82% humidity- yuck! After our runs, plenty of relaxing time with our 9 year old.

Reply

Looks like a great weekend so far! I’m looking forward to my long run today :)

Reply

I am allergic to cloves, so I am not crazy about pumpkin, but I love apple this time of the year.

I have 3 brothers. Is your sis preggo with twins? Or who is else is expecting?

Reply

Best part of my Sunday…we are headed to IKEA with friends. We don’t really need anything, but it never hurts to look….. :)

I really need to make peach crisp now. I also burn myself fairly regularly when using the oven. My aloe plants get a lot of use…..

Reply

1 older brother. It’s never too early for pumpkin!

I’m excited about my long run today :)

Reply

I love pumpkin everything this time of
Year!! It is such an awesome smell/flavor!!
Best part of my Sunday will be our family dinner! Cannot wait!!

Reply

Happy Sunday!

I have four brothers. Between us five we have 15 children. Four of us are done having children, but my youngest brother may have another one.

I am not ready for fall or fall scents. We have had a very mild summer and I really want it to stick around. I’m not done with it yet! Fall just says to me winter is on the way. No thank you.

The best part of my Sunday is the donut after church!

Reply

I have 2 brothers – one on the east coast (SC), one on the west coast (LA) and I’m in Minneapolis.
Pumpkin is NEVER too early. Best season, best smells, everything wonderful comes in fall.
Best Sunday-thing? Woke up this morning to husband asking to go for a run with me. He never runs. Sounds like a great time.

Reply

Never too early for pumpkin! I made pumpkin muffins yesterday.

Reply

pumpkin is A-okay!

Reply

Lavender oil for your burn will heal it quickly. Oils are amazing! I only have one brother who lives in a different province. The best part about today is that my kiddos are coming home in a few minutes from a visit with their dad!!!!

Reply

Specifically Lavendula Angustafolia. Not all varieties of lavender are equal and you’ll want to put the right type on a burn or you might irritate it rather than heal it. But Jennifer is right…. It is the best mild burn reliever out there.

Reply

2 older brothers! And ummm anytime is good for pumpkin! I need to get a fall candle like that- they make me so happy!

Reply

1 brother and 1 sister although sometimes it felt more like extra parents since they are 9 and 13 years older than me.

This summer has seemed just way too short here in New England so I’ve been putting off the pumpkin stuff. I think I will start embracing fall next week. Although I’ve heard it’s supposed to finally get hot out again…

Best part of my Sunday? I am ordering the ACE Health Coach course!! Eeeee!!!

Reply

I only have 1 sibling, but I have a ton of cousins like Brooke!
Here in Florida it’s still about 100 degrees, so no pumpkin yet!

Reply

There are 4 of us… I have an older brother and two younger sisters

Never too early for pumpkin! I was just thinking about a baked pumpkin spice doughnut recipe this morning :)

Best part about THIS Sunday is that since it’s a holiday weekend, we get to do it all again tomorrow! Plus, I have family coming over.

Reply

I have two younger siblings, and am close to both of them. I allow pumpkin to come out after labor day weekend, so I’m about to partake :) I can’t wait! Have fun with your siblings!!

Reply

I have 3 sisters, 2 brothers. I love having a big family.
I love pumpkin. I never think it’s too early. Fall is my favorite season. Except for that whole school starting thing. ;)

Hey! Is your niece Curly on the new Staples commercial? There is a really cute little girl on there that i swear is her.

Happy Sunday Janae!

Reply

I have a half sister and we’re 16 years apart! She’s only a year old but I love babies and toddlers so much, so it’s been fun! I’m sure there will be times were the age gap feels a lot more than it is, we’ll always be in such different phases of life. Best part of my Sunday was sleeping in until 11:15, that was so nice considering I’ve been waking up so early this whole summer!! Looks like you’re having a fun weekend :)

Reply

I almost didn’t recognize u in that fierce roller derby looking pic! Love it! And now I must try to make that crisp… I have twin brother and sister 18 mos older than me.
It is never to early for pumpkin!!
Best part of Sunday is church and my son gets his first sleepover!

Reply

3 amazing siblings! 1 older brother, a twin sister and a younger sister :)
It’s never too early for pumpkin ;)
The best part of my Sunday (so far) was my LR this morning and I’m looking forward to relaxing for the rest of the day today (and tomorrow).
Have a great long weekend!

Reply

Two beautiful sisters! For the beer drinkers out there… Southern Tier Pumpking!!!! The best pumpkin beer ever.

Sunday = 8 miles done, packing my baby for his Junior year of college. :(

Reply

I have a little brother who is only my dad’s so for the most part at home I’m an only child! I do have a lot of cousins that are like siblings though :) Today we’re having a garage sale and relaxing!

Reply

Such cute pics! I definitely need to get a pumpkin candle (or maybe apple?) early in the season to get me in the mood for fall! After this weekend I’m gonna be all about the fall! I don’t even care if it’s early – I’m too excited!

Reply

I’m the baby of three girls, and we also have a half sister that grew up in Oregon (we’re in California). I love, love, LOVE the relationship I have with my sisters. It makes me sad when I talk to people who don’t have a close relationship with their siblings (like my husband!), because I think they are missing out on one of the best things in life :)

Never to early for pumpkin!! This weekend I started putting pumpkin pie spice in my coffee because I’ve seen so many IG posts of pumpkin spice lattes recently :)

We did pool all day yesterday, and today we are doing beach with the kiddos and the dog… I LOOOOVE three day weekends! :)

Love all the pictures with your family. Have a great weekend!!

Reply

I wish they had pumpkin all year. But it is still way too early for fall. I’m not ready and since they are predicting another bitter cold, super snowy winter I wish people would stop wishing for it to hurry up and get here. :-)

Reply

It is definitely never too early for pumpkin! That is one of the reasons why I love fall so much!

Reply

I grew up as the oldest with 3 younger brothers. Once I grew up and was married, my dad and step mom adopted so now I have two younger sisters that are about the ages of my own kids. Families come in all shapes, huh?
I love pumpkin, it’s never too early. Fall is my favorite season, except that it is the segue into a long, cold, Utah winter.
My Sunday is going to be busy. My husband is out of town hunting and my family is coming over for dinner. So it will be the opposite of relaxing, but so fun!

Reply

NEVER too early for pumpkin. Best scent, flavor & ingredient ever. I’m looking forward to my yoga class at 4:30 this afternoon. Best way to hit the restart button on your week and begin again mentally and physically stronger.

Reply

I have two siblings, a twin sister and then another sister who is four years younger. Also, it is NEVER too early for pumpkin :)

Reply

Love pumpkin! I’m not ready for summer to be over, but I don’t think it’s too early to bust out the pumpkin! ;) I have 1 sister – 6 years younger than me. We aren’t all that close, but I wish we were. :(

Reply

Are we twins?? I literally got that exact same burn on my left hand the other day because I wasn’t careful getting my food out of the toaster oven!! Looks like your long weekend is being well spent with family- hope it continues to be a good one!

Reply

I have scars from similar battles :(

I’m an only child. I didn’t like it and so have created a big family. It’s interesting for me to experience it from the parenting angle having never lived it myself. Why do they bicker? Why aren’t they just overjoyed to have siblings? Lol. Actually they get along pretty well.

The best part of today for me will be picking out a fall trail event (I’ll be walking it) and registering for a spring event (I plan to walk the Avenue of the Giants marathon). I’m excited about my decision to forge onward as I recover :)

Reply

I have two siblings! Never too early for pumpkin! Target has this amazing pumpkin yogurt by Noosa and it is sooo good! They only carry it at Target :)

Reply

I have two younger sisters. They live in another province so I only get to see them a couple times a year. :(

I’m already loving the pumpkin!!! Last week I had pumpkin cheesecake and several of my readers/friends thought it was way too early! LOL. I think they were just jealous of the cheesecake. ;) I’m also using the Bath and Body Works ‘Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin’ handsoap right now. :)

Reply

I have 7 siblings………all younger than me…………I was the built in babysitter growing up! I am 29 and the youngest is 13.

I love pumpkin. Never too early. Ever. And Bath and Body Works has the best pumpkin candles. (Sorry Yankee Candle, but it’s true.)

Best part of my Sunday is I got a 7 miler in AND I have fresh apples from our local orchard to enjoy! I love when the orchard opens……….so amazing! And it is right next door to the best bakery ever…………sweet breads and apples…….I might pass out!

Reply

I ran 9 miles today as a part of my training for my FIRST HALF MARATHON today! I took a tip from you and had pizza for dinner last night. I really think it helped me, and it might become a long run tradition!

Reply

I have one younger brother and I’m sure it’s still a little early for pumpkin, but I don’t care! I’m so excited for crisp fall weather.
Today, I’m baking for tomorrow’s Labor Day post-race brunch with friends!!!

Reply

Best part of Sunday (so far)….RACE DAY (1/2 marathon)! Jogged to the start line, which made for a nice little 1.7 mile warm up. Started out really strong…started getting pretty tired around mile 10. Walked just a tad…finished strong. Beat previous years time by 10 minutes. Race is on a flat course but flats tend to be my arch nemesis.

Have a great Sunday with your family!! :-)

I’m one of eight kids, 4 girls and 4 boys. Loved growing up in a big family! Now that we all have our own, not one of us has more than three kids. Thankfully, all of them have a close bond with their cousins even though they are scattered all over the country.
Best part of my Sunday….I’ll be meeting my son for dinner, I miss him when he’s away at school!

Reply

I think I’m the only person who isn’t ready for anything pumpkin-related yet! I like the fall and everything it brings, but I’m still savoring these last few weeks of summer!

Reply

I have two older brothers, it’s never too early for pumpkin! (I alwayyyys type “pumpking” haha) anddd my best part of my sunday was when my baby woke up early and I fed him then got a good workout in since I was up anyway! ;)

I am an only child… but I do have three step-siblings. :)

Best part of my Sunday is taking first overall female at the Sunriver Half Marathon this morning. It was a PR and my first win!

Reply

Oh my goodness I love the one rollerblade per child photo! My cousin, sister and I used to do that when we were little because only my cousin had a pair! I can vividly remember sailing one-footed down the steep hills of North Vancouver, confident in my stopping (aka side-of-the-road-grassy-knoll-crashing) skills!! Lol

Reply

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters, so a total of 5 of us :) It’s never too early for pumpkin! Best part of my Sunday was completing the Disney 1/2 for a total of 19.3 miles over the weekend. The best part was my stomach behaving itself!

Reply

1 brother and 5 sisters, and lots of cousins. LOVE having a big family :) AND it’s never too early for pumpkin spice anything…. I can’t wait for fall weather

Reply

I have 2 awesome sisters who are my BFFs! Pumpkin is great anytime and I am so happy to finish a 16 mile run this morning with the Hubs. :)

Reply

I have 3 siblings, and 4 siblings-in-law. I’ve always liked the idea of having a bigger family, but then I realized kids are REALLLLY expensive. We will see!

The corn salad on the plates with the turkey burgers looks amazing. Do you have a recipe?

Never too early for pumpkin.

2 sisters. 15 and 18 year gaps. God really is all about surprising us with blessings when we least expect it =)

Reply

1 younger brother.

Pumpkin all year round, I say. ;)

Church was the best part of my day.

Reply

The picture of you and Brooke. Too much.

Reply

Three siblings: one older brother and two younger sisters (and our initials spell BRAT).

I’m (apparently) one of the few who’s indifferent to pumpkin …

Best part of my day was my 4-year-old niece telling me she wanted to be me when she grew up so she could run fast. I told her she should be herself and run even faster. Then she said she was going to change her name to “Lightning Bolt” so she could run lightning fast. I love that kid …

Reply

I’m the 2nd of 5 siblings (not sure what number you are!) – 4 girls and then finally a boy!

Reply

I was going to make peach crisp tonight by my peaches are not ripe enough! :/ I do see that you used a small pan than it calls for in the recipe you shared. May I ask how many peaches you used for that size pan?

Reply

I’m an only child with a step brother and step sister that joined in along the way. So thanks to them I have nephews.

It’s too early for pumpkin in So Cal – still in the 90s.

Reply

It’s too early for pumpkin !

Reply

I LOVE fall….never to early for pumpkins!

I am a middle child with one older sister and one younger brother.

The second to last pic of the little girl with Brooke is really so sweet. My Sunday consisted of some road cycling and then I had to work. I hope your burn boo boo heals fast.

Reply

My parents together have two kids. Me and my older brother. My dad had a daughter before but she died young. My brother has a 13 year old daughter and that’s the only grandchild my parents have. I’m so sorry for them. Hopefully, someday, I’ll give them a gift too.

I am obsessed with the pumpkin candles at BBWorks, SO good!
