PRO Compression Leggings GIVEAWAY!

PRO Compression just came out with LEGGINGS!  I was excited to try them out because let’s be honest… I live in workout clothes and I needed a pair of leggings/capris that I could wear for yoga/to run in/pump/running around town to do errands/watch Elmo with Brooke and everything else that I do.

They are active tights so you really can do anything in them.

These are by far my most comfortable pair of leggings and I think that is because they are made with super high-end fabric and they are made with four-way stretch performance fabric.  The tights are super flattering—> the fabric is plenty thick enough (huge for me because I hate leggings that are even a little bit see-through) but they are still light and sweat-wicking.

The waistband is thick so it isn’t cutting into my torso which is key for a good pair of leggings.  There is also a pocket inside of the legging where you can stash your keys/cash/whatever in while you are working out or chilaxin at the park with your main squeeze.

The leggings have reversible waistbands and cuffs so you can choose whether you want to fold them down or keep them up!  This adds a little flava’ to the leggings which is fun.

3 colors to choose from!  Black with black, pink or neon yellow piping.

I also love that the leggings come in size 2,4,6,8,or 10 (not just small, medium or large).. makes it easier to figure out what size fits best…

These pants look awesome. I love that you said that about the thick waistband because I spent just about the same amount of money on a pair of Lululemon leggings and the waistband is so uncomfortable. Reply

Oh now Pro Compression has gone and thought of everything…I’d wear those about anywhere – probably though for running in my gym. They keep that place FREEZING so even if i’m sweating it’s still not shorts weather in there. I’m also training for by second marathon ever (the Chicago marathon) – so anything to help me keep it tight while recovering would be a GODSEND on my grad student budget :)

Reply

I am training for my first half marathon so I have been living in workout gear. These are fashionable and look so comfy – perfect for “on the run”! Thank you for the chance to own a pair!

Reply

I would LOVE me a pair of those tights! I would probably wear them just about anywhere like you? but mostly to run and do some strength training.

So I’m recovering from my fourth (I think…?) level 2 hamstring tear, which means that I have these little baby microtears all along the top of my muscle that make doing things hard. Here’s some background in that:

For about eight years, I fought boys much bigger than me in taekwondo. The last four years of that I competed A LOT (read: every weekend), eventually working myself up to the US Open and a bunch of national tournaments. In 2009, while training for a tournament in Florida, I was stretching my legs after a workout and heard a quick POP like when you pull a Barbie doll’s leg out of her socket, and then suddenly I couldn’t walk.
Turns out I did the whole microtear thing in the muscle. Cool, right? No.
Six months of PT, a billion massages, acupuncture, and an idiot refusal to stop training later, I have chronic tears in my muscle that have gotten bearable. I can’t do everything, but I can do most things. I won a national championship with a booboo hamstring!
Fast forward to January 2014, when I’d been training in CrossFit (which I totally recommend for you because it knocked six minutes off my five-mile with no running training) for four months and getting SUPA STRONG. My favorite move in CrossFit is the deadlift, because I have a ridiculous strength base in my legs from years of training. I was going for a PR, after picking up 265 lbs. pretty easily, of 275 lbs. I got the weight up, went to pull it past my knees, and heard POP POP. Dropped the weight, couldn’t pick up anything else, and tried to shake it off by doing a workout with box jumps, kettlebell swings, and ball slams. That was a bad choice, and when I went back to the sports med doctor, she told me that it was possible I ended my career in sports (nice to hear, right?).
Now, six months later, I’m still having trouble. My body is compensating, but it’s slowly getting back to normal. I can pick up 155 lbs, but not with ease. I’ve found a phenomenal massage therapist who’s been breaking up the scar tissue I’ve accumulated in the last five years, but I’m still scared to do some exercises and angry at my fear.

SO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL POINT OF THIS COMMENT. I’ve been looking for a good pair of compression leggings, since they help with muscle injuries and keeping everything tight and protected, but I’m a poor college student. With these leggings, I’d fight to get back to where I was in January and STAY INJURY FREE FOREVER WEEEEEEEE.

Okay, long-winded post. I’m done. I love your blog. Brooke is the most adorable of adorable baby girls. I hope your day is sunshine and butterflies and love.

Reply

I would run in them during the winter, and probably wear them around all the time for lounging and muscle recovery. LOVE them!

Reply

I like comfortable clothes that still look nice enough for running errands or even wearing out to a casual dinner with family. The bad part is I’m really stingy. I would love to win a pair!

Reply

Definitely for running, but I probably wouldn’t want to take them off!

Reply

I would run in my PRO Compression leggings (obviously), strength train, walk my dog Ted, find a cure for cancer, and fly to Mars, all because the design and quality of the leggings would make me feel THAT FABULOUS!!!

Reply

Wear them to run and/or crossfit

Reply

I live in tights like that! I would run in them in the spring/fall and wear them as regular clothes pretty much all year.

Reply

I am just starting back exercising after a long journey to recover from an accident and would use them for aerobics and walking (running) the dog.
