It sure is nice to have my little sidekick back. We make quite the team.
Remember Lunchables? I used to have lunchables in elementary school all of the time.
I’ve been loving this adult version of lunchables. Sharp cheddar cheese, I love you.
I ran. My legs felt great. Hallelujah. I took the last 5 days off of exercise completely, it just happened and somehow I didn’t freak out about it at all. I actually really enjoyed it. I don’t think I have taken that long off from exercise in years (except for after having Brooke).
But now I am ready to get back into my routine.
4 miles with my purple feet and in ‘no-need-for-gloves’ weather. Winter has been good to us Utahns this year.
Moral of the story—> take time off when something is hurting. Running will always be there for you when you are ready to come back. It’s not going anywhere.
Brooke reminded me that I needed to foam roll when I got home.
She showed me how to properly use the foam roller.
And then she jumped on my back to add a little extra weight so that I really felt it.
That little shoulder.
Paige and I had a lot to catch up on because I hadn’t seen her since last week. No better way to talk about everything under the sun than with a mountain of produce and that hummus… makes the salad.
After all of those vegetables I needed to consume some fruit.
Share Size. Hahaha very funny. Do people actually share bags of candy? That just seems weird to me.
Did you have a packed lunch or school lunch back in your elementary school days? Jr. High? High School?
-In elementary we always had a packed lunch except on pizza day, then we would get school lunch. In jr. high I had school lunch and in high school we always went to one of our houses for lunch or to Wendy’s.
How has the winter been in your neck of the woods?
Who has a spring race on the schedule? Which one?
