I really wish I had a million dollars so that I could give you all a new pair of running shoes for Christmas this year. Then I could force you to come to San Jose so that we could all wear them at the same time as we go for a run and while we are out running we would stop at all the best food places (mainly ice cream places) to refuel our run so we could run together all day long.
Until I can fulfill that dream of mine, I can give away one pair of my absolute favorite pair of shoes… just in time for Christmas!
The Brooks PureProject line are my favorites and I just got the PureFlow 2s and love every aspect of them. It is a match made in heaven, comfort and lightweight. My treadmill even approved of them.

Great giveaway! My favorite running moment was one that I thought was going to be awful. I wasn’t feeling well, had very little sleep, and had to run a hilly 12-miler for a distance challenge. After jogging along a busy road for a few miles, we finally took a right turn onto a tiny country lane. Everything was shining & glistening & peaceful. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful, relaxed races I have ever run.

My favorite RUN HAPPY MOMENT was running a race way back in high school. At the starting line, we saw a sheet of pure hail come sweeping across the field. The entire race was pure bud and pouring rain. The race was the most fun I ever had running. While everyone else was struggling, I sprinted down he hills and sloshed right through the mud trying to run the shortest straight-lined distance. Whenever I think about bad weather and how a little rain keep me from going running outside, I remember that race and how it was one of the best times of my life and how I should suck it up and just go run!.

Happy run moment: during a very frustrating period at work I ran the fastest I’ve ever run on a treadmill after a particularly tough day. At the end of the run, I hopped of and felt ok for the first time in days. Thank goodness for endorphins!
