The competition of how much food one can fit onto a salad bar plate.
It has been almost 4 months since I visited my favorite salad bar in the whole wide world.
Right after school yesterday I headed on over to the dentist to get a root canal and I still can’t feel the right side of my face…is that normal? Laughing gas made the whole thing fly by and it took TWO HOURS. I had some pretty crazy thoughts, too bad I didn’t have my key board with me because you would have had a few very interesting blog posts to read about.
The dentist told me not to eat anything crunchy so I just used the other side of my mouth to chew anything that he would dissaprove of…..a salad bar trip without goldfish just doesn’t work for me. Ranch in the background peering over my salad. (Place cucumbers around the edges to increase circumfrance).
And the beautiful stick of carbness. I ate the darn thing before I remembered to take a picture. Good thing my dining partners don’t eat their whole meal in less than five minutes and take time to breathe while they eat.
My beautiful dates for the evening: MEGAN and RENE!!! Rene was in town from TEXAS and we have been email/blog buddies for a long time now and FINALLY got to meet. Carbs + running talk + girl talk + a mountain of vegetables = true joy.
Yes, I do have an outey belly button but I am hoping that is just the button on my jeans in the picture.
And what did BIlly do while I was gone…….
LSAT is in t-minus 8 days. I am pretty sure I am more nervous/stressed about it than he is. PS…see those cookies on the left hand side? Those are Megan’s amazing HEALTHY cookies…..you must try them, they are one of my favorite things to fuel a run with! And they make an even better dessert after a night of salad eating.
****I watched Modern Family last night and LOVED it….that show never ceases to amaze me! Did you watch it?
***Haven’t watched Biggest Loser yet (next on my list) HAVE YOU? What do you think of the new trainers?
What kind of Friday nighter are you? Take-out and movie at home or a night out on the town?
-Friday nights I am more likely to stay in because I am tired from a full week of working but Saturday nights I do usually like being out and about (aka going to Costco and then going to Yogurtland).
