I vote option B (a classic!), although I like the creativity of option A (the bite out of the house) and the skiing bears in option C is very cute.

Reply

I think my vote is for b too. Although I love the park city one too.

Option B! So cute! I'm working for my parents on Christmas Eve. They let all of their employees off and my parents, me and my sister work. : )

Oh my gosh, this is so hard! Those are some of the most awesome gingerbread houses I have ever seen!

Okay Option A. The bleeding gingerbread man is hilarious. Option B. The bridge and fishing gingerbread man are so legit. Option C. Seriously, a ski lift? Brilliant!

I'm gonna have to go with C!

WOW they are all so good!!!!!

I'm going to go with Option C! I love oreos and teddy grahams and there is a skill lift! AWESOME :)

Tonight: my family is coming over! We do christmas eve with my family and it's sports themed this year, we don't do traditional christmas ;) it's usually a themed christmas ;)

I love these gingerbread houses!! Y'all are so profesh. I can't vote for the massacre and I have a hunch that's NOT yours. Points for creativity though. Then my instinct was to go with B b/c I LOVE gum drops AND Dots. Like, my 2 favorite childhood candies. Then I saw the Teddy Graham ski lift and realized I was torn between B & C. I can't choose! Please don't make me. ;)

We are going to a big, fun, festive party tonight with Billy's family. Tomorrow we make our rounds to visit everyone in both of our families. And I think I'll wear pajamas the whole time just because I can. :) xo

I have to go with B…although I secretly love A.

We're heading to church with family and then out to pizza :-)

Merry Christmas!!!!!!

Reply

I HAVE to say Park City… I LOVE the ski lift, that is so creative!! :D

They are all sooo cute!!!!1 I'll have to go with option B, though because of all the candy!

Awesome Post! Mom and Dad love them all and are voting for 'C'. I am voting for 'A' because that seems like my sense of humor. Jamie will be voting when she gets off work. Although Jace has yet to experience candy, he seems to like 'B'. We love you, have a great Christmas Eve.

Reply

I love B, but C has my vote! I love the chair lift & skiing bears – wish my mountain looked that that.
Cute picture too!

Reply

They are all yummy looking but if I HAD to choose-I would go with B as well:)

Reply

Merry Christmas!

b. although, c has it's charm.

Reply

So hard to choose, but I think I would go for C. Love the pretzel balcony :)
But they are all fab :)

Reply

C is so creative! But I think I want to eat B the most, ha. I will be spending most of Christmas Eve in airports. Ick, right? Good thing there's a cute boy waiting at the end of the tunnel…

Reply

Likin' B! The bridge is pretty awesome.

Christmas Eve plans, I really have no idea. I think we're supposed to be making gingerbread houses today… with graham crackers, not gingerbread.

Reply

I love B!

Merry Christmas!

Reply

B!!!!!!

Reply

Oh Goodness, I hope I don't get this wrong!

I'd have to go for option B because it's so neat and organised. Plus, it's the house I'd most like to live in if I were made out of gingerbread…

My xmas eve is irrelevant – I'm going to live vicariously through yours. And that first pic just about made my day…Billy is such a good sport!

Reply

B! but c is realllly creative! haha

Reply

I thought B was the clear winner…until I saw the teddy graham ski lift. Voting for C!

Reply

Oh, I think I have to go with option A…that is just too funny and creative. out of the box…my kind of thinking! but seriously, your family is so awesome…who does gingerbread houses this cool?!!! Um, your chrismtas eve sounds just like ours…pjs, movie, some kind of dinner (nothing too fancy), and I we are also going to the Christmas eve service at church…candle lighting.
Thank you for your awesome blog Janae. It has been fun to "meet" or find you at the end of this 2010 year. Love your spirit! XO

Reply

oh my, I can't believe there are not more votes for A! So I'm commenting a second time on behalf of A! Come on people?! It is clearly the most original and unconventional house out of the three! Love it! makes me smile and laugh. one of a kind!

Reply

When I first saw the work that went into the licorice sidewalk on B, that was my vote….until I saw C!!! The ski lifts and ski-ing teddies are just too adorable!! C! C! C!

Reply

Option B

I am working right now, and getting grincher as the day goes on, not sure what tonights plans are

Reply

but if I was voting for the most beautiful and charming…it would be a toss up between b and c. But C is amazing and probably the one you did..I mean how cute is that little bear chair lift?! But A…love the bite out of that house. Okay, seriously, I'm done stalking your gingerbread houses.

Reply

I would have to say B or C…..I am going to go for B!

Reply

Love them all but gotta go with C. How can you resist bubble gum skis and tiny bears?? Oh and the chair lift. Seriously…adorable.

Christmas Eve: workout done, food, food, food, did I mention food? :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Reply

Amanda, you are hilarious—this gingerbread voting is very serious to you! :) LOL! I vote B!!!

Reply

Awwh! I love Lady and the Tramp! Cute :)

C is my fave! I love the wee bear skiiers! However they all look delicious. Admirable restraint that none of them have been bitten!

Today I did a kenpo-boxing workout and now it's off to wrap all my mom's presents. I've been really good this year, so hopefully this gift wrap extravaganza will also involve a Starbucks peppermint mocha. :D

Have a fabulous Christmas Eve!!

Reply

Option B. I like all the candy! Have a Merry Christmas!

Reply

option B!

Reply

i'm going with C for creativity

Reply

Option B. I love all the colors!

I am super competitive as well, so I know how you feel. :)

Reply

I obviously have to vote for the dragon's revenge, because secretly I'm a six year old boy.

Reply

i am definitely voting for C..i mean, who in the world could be so creative to make a licorice ski lift!?!?! wow!

Reply

Option B!!!

Reply

I love the bridge in B, so cute! A kind of frightens me (haha) and C is just so darn creative that I have to vote for it. I've never seen anything like it.

B wins in Presentation
C wins in Creativity
A wins in Freakiness

:)

Reply

A was definitely done by a guy and if I was a guy I would probably vote for that one. B is so perfect and colorful and creative w the ice fishing and fire and cool bridge and probably yours. C is so creative and I love that one too. This is so hard.

I vote for B because that's probably the one I would want to come across and hang out in. I don't like gum drops, but I love Andes mints.

I hope yours wins.

Still last minute shopping today!

Merry Christmas.

Reply

I love the Park City one… but my vote goes to B!!! SO cute! What a fun tradition! Ok now I need your vote Janaester… Hair… blonde or dark for me? I know I can count on you to be honest. :) Take it as a compliment! Loves! PS Have a Merry Christmas in CA!

Reply

They are all great, but I am going to have to pick B. I love the guy fishing and the little campfire.
Merry Christmas!

Reply

I vote B. Love them all, though.

Tonight we will head to Reflections in the Park to admire the Christmas lights. Our evening will wrap up with the candlelight church service.

Have a wonderful holiday.

Reply

Definitely B. Love it!

Sounds like you guys are having a fabulous Christmas week. Yeah for Billy running! Merry Christmas to you!

Reply

Of course I have to vote "C" due to my love of skiing!! I wish I was on the ski lift with a handful of teddy grahams right now!!! Instead, I am stuck at work while your parents and Dan are out having fun without me. Bah Humbug :(

Reply

Option B!!! Always love a classic!

Reply

WOW! Jason voted immediately for A. The dragon theme is so creative! And of course, the blood strewn crime scene appealed to his forensics side! I love them all, so this is a difficult vote. All the roofing material was wonderful, by the way. The ski lift was too cute! I'm gonna go with B for all the gumdrops (one of my favorite candies!). So one "A" and one "B" from the Sharp's.

Reply

I like them all. I think yours is B:)

Reply

I choose C.
Park City paradise. A ski lift out of candy? are you kidding me? I'd ski every day.

Reply

I vote C!

And amen to gym clothes and PJ's. That is my day right there ;)

Reply

I vote B! i love it! :)

Reply

I like option B. Lots of good candy! We are off to church soon and then Christmas dinner! I love this time of year. Can't wait for tomorrow because we get presents and we get to watch our nephew open presents AND I get to run outside tomorrow!!!! Merry Christmas!! Have a great night!

Reply

B is super cute.

Reply

So hard to pick! C is absolutely adorable, but I love the man fishing in B…..sooooo B it is!

Merry Christmas!

Reply

I vote for C for its beauty and creativity. B is a classic and so cute. It's a very close second for me. I don't like to see teddy bear blood. That's just mean. Sorry, A. Try again next year.

Reply

Candy Haven!

Reply

Option B! LOve it.

I'm doing a whole lot of nothing on Christmas Eve. This morning I went rollerblading at the beach with a friend, then ran, but now I'm watching trash tv with my husband in my bathrobe.

Reply

B.

DUH!

Reply

I can see why it would be difficult to choose a winner! They're all so creative. Love the ski lift and the dead gingerbread guys. But I vote for #2. Love all the colors! It looks like you're having a great time at the in laws!

OMG I love this! We're watching a throwdown with Bobby Flay on the Food Network and it's all about gingerbread houses – I want to make one!! I think I choose B. it looks the most fun. And, not gonna lie, A is a little scary. Merry Xmas eve!

Reply

Oh No! They are all so good. I have to vote for B even though I love the horror presented by A.

Reply

B, definitely. I want to eat it.

Reply

B Merry Christmas!

park city paradise (c) is an innovation.

Reply

Candy Haven B! The Bridge is so cute!

Reply

I have to vote for C. The skiing bears won me over :) I like B too. They are all amazing. Great work. Your Christmas Eve plans sound amazing. We are at my Dad's now for dinner/presents and the we will go to Jason's Dad's house tonight for another round. I can't wait to be home tomorrow with my family and enjoy the morning together. No racing around.

I like B! =)

That's a cute photo of you and Bill =)

I just wanted to let you know that you were strangely in my thoughts when I wrote Part 2 today. Maybe coz you're know as the hungry girl and you'd be the best guest in a Filipino Christmas Eve party! We'll be so happy to feed you =)

I have to go with A. It's just too dang funny. And it reminds me of something my Dad did a few years ago…

My Mom always sets up this really pretty Christmas village thingie on top of their piano. It's a little town with the bank and post office and lots of other buildings, complete with streetlamps and cars and people walking holding hands…

Well, Dad went and bought a bunch of those little green army men and staged them so that it looked like the village was under seige–a sniper on the roof of the bank, the couple holding hands was laying on their back with a soldier with his bayonette standing over them about to stab them…

It was CLASSIC!!!

Without Question, the reason your inlaws couldn't vote was because your B house was so completely superior to the A and C offerings, that there is a danger of permanent familial rift if they breech the neutrality stance.

Reply

(ps: if I"m wrong and B isn't yours, you don't deserve the sugarholic status that you have worked so hard to acquire.) ♥

Reply

I CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THE PJ PICS!! WHAT A FABULOUS TRADITION!!!

You have some talented gingerbread house architects!! I LOVE the clean lines of CANDY HAVEN and it is the one I want to eat the most, but creativity must go to the DRAGON'S REVENGE!

Have a fabulous Christmas Janae!!

Reply

Janae, you go ahead and post whatever comment you want of mine…any of the three hundred I wrote on this blog. :) glad you liked it instead of being annoyed by them. :)

Reply

Oh my gosh! those are awesome gingerbread houses! I am so impressed! I am voting for the Candy Haven (I wonder whose that is… ;) ). Second place is the park..and I am just not a fan of the dragon one. But, it is unique though! Have fun, Janae!

Reply

the "blood" from the dying gingerbread man in option A stuck out the most to me so i guess i vote A. they were all very creative though! if there had been one with m&m's it so would have gotten my vote.

i don't even know if i have cast my vote in time but oh well. merry christmas!
