10 funny stories from our first year of knowing each other, this popped up and a puppy.

Good Morning!!!

Running partners united!  It’s been a few weeks since our last run together and it was good to be back.  Josse has been dealing with some ankle problems lately so she took a bit of time off and is back in action.  Six miles total and a great conversation the whole way.

IMG 4227

Josse has a new puppy and he is quite a fan of my Pure Flows too.  I hope Josse knows I will dogsit whenever she needs.

IMG 4239

Rewind to the morning… lately I’ve been eating a bowl of cereal before my runs (don’t tell Brooke I was using her bowl;) and it has been working well.  It’s amazing how my pre-run meals have changed over the years… at some points I can handle things and others I can’t. Cereal is in right now.

So are egg sandwiches for me and Brooke:)

Added some turkey sausage to mine and that was an excellent idea.

Later on in the afternoon we took the kids to Kangaroo Zoo.  This place is the best to ensure kids have a fabulous night of sleep guaranteed after each visit.

The kids had quite the red cheeks after two hours of running around… I should have had them wear my Garmin to see how many miles they ran.

And Homeward Bound is continuing to be the featured film around this house.

My night ended with a fundraiser that we are doing with the youth in my area:)  I haven’t had a Krispy Kreme in a long time and ending the activity with them was great!

And this popped into my email yesterday!  My favorite marathon on the planet just opened up their registration….

This sweet interview with Jordan Hasay right after finishing 3rd at Boston made me cry.  Jordan is incredible.

I thought today I would share some of our favorite funny/awkward/strange stories together/things we’ve learned after knowing each other for a YEAR (well, in 6 days it will be exactly a year since our first date).

IMG 0821

1.  When one of our children gets hurt——>  we have learned we react quite differently to these situations.  I sprint at about Usain Bolt’s pace to the child (pretty much crying myself over what has just occurred) and Andrew calmly walks over to help the situation.

2.  The month of December was a learning experience for sure.  Andrew is just whatever about holidays and I’m all about celebrating every last ounce out of a holiday.  In December I made a list of all of the traditions I wanted to do as a family (which was about 24 more than Andrew usually does) but he gladly went along with them and said he enjoyed them at least.

3.  The time that my brother was in town (my brother has lost more than 50 lbs!!!!!) and he was talking to Andrew about weight lifting and how much it has done for him.  So Andrew went to the gym the next day and went hardcore at the gym.  NO JOKE… his arms were so sore for three days he could barely move them.  We laughed about it pretty hard but I did end up tying his shoes and helping him pour his cereal for a few days;)

4.  How Andrew made me think he just occasionally liked to watch a baseball game or two last baseball season when we were dating but turns out this season it is a bit of a different story;)  Fever Pitch… I kid, kind of;)   I may have accidentally seemed like I enjoyed watching Lost more during our dating time than I do now (LOST is a one and done type of show in my opinion).  So we are even.

5.  Once upon a time Andrew’s family had a group message going on.  Andrew and I had just gotten married ( so I did not feel super comfortable yet with my in-laws) and I went to text my sister something (something I was just meaning to tell my sister;) and the group text message was just below my sister’s name on my text messages.  Yep, you guessed it.  The thing I meant to text my sister went to his whole family.  ENTIRE FAMILY:)  They all laughed but I think my face was bright red for the rest of the day.

6.  I guess this isn’t funny and not necessarily a story but I’m a worrier (as I’ve told you before… my brain just loves to worry about things).  There have been a few times when my worrying was REAL and Andrew faked that everything was okay.  Like when we went sailing in Mexico (just the two of us) and I was freaking out because we were way out there and Andrew played it off like the chances of anything happening was slim to none…. when just moments before he saw WHITE WATER (maybe from a shark?!?!) right by us.  Probably not going out on a little catamaran any time soon.

7.  One time I faked Andrew out into thinking I was asleep (I wasn’t).  It was about midnight at this time and he went out to go get a drink of water like he always does so I snuck to the other side of the hall and into a dark room.  When he came back towards our room I jumped out of the dark room and scared him more than he has ever been scared in his life.

8.  One time my mom and I were sitting sandwiched between my dad and Andrew on the couch.  Andrew had his arm around me and my dad has his arm around my mom.   Andrew thought he was scratching my neck/arm/I’m not sure but after a few minutes he realized it was my dad’s hand… hahaha he was so embarrassed.  My dad said he just thought Andrew was trying to be nice.

9.  One time Andrew told me (jokingly) a few months ago that he has morning sickness… I’m ready to go a million miles per hour in the mornings and mornings make him sick;)

10.  Just a month or two into marriage I woke up one night at about 2 a.m. to Andrew eating graham crackers in bed.  The strange part was that he had no memory of this event.  He SLEPT WALKED to get the graham crackers and ate them.  He was probably having a dream about them.

Ever sent out the wrong text to the wrong person/people?

I laughed out loud at the graham crackers in bed! It’s amazing all the quirks you see when living with someone and being with them most hours of the day…even more incredible is the weird quirks I have that I never even realized! This made me smile, I need to start jotting down these types of memories too.

I send texts to the wrong people all the time. My phone shows me a text as it comes in, but when I try to reply, it replies to the last person I was typing to, not the last text I received. It’s annoying, and sometimes funny.

#8 had me rolling with laughter!

Reply

Haahha oh my gosh sending a text to the wrong person is the absolute worse. CRINGE. So cute the lessons you’ve learned about each other. You guys seem like two peas in a pod. One thing I’ve learned about my boyfriend is that when he is in a mood, best to keep him alone and try not to make him feel better, hah

Reply

Haha those stories are pretty great! I’ve never been in a relationship, so I don’t have any funny stories like y’all’s, but I can tell you a random one. When I was in the hospital for my kidney recently, I thought my ER doc was SO cute, and I said some pretty silly things to him when I was doped up on morphine. Then, after I got out of the hospital later that week, I friended him on Facebook, and he actually accepted and sent me a message. Nothing ended up coming of it, but I still think he’s such a cutie! :)

Lol, I love reading these! The graham cracker thing is hilarious. My husband likes to sleep talk, and the other night he fell asleep downstairs on the couch. I went to get him and he woke up with a start, asked where our daughter was (she was in bed, obviously) and then asked if she was still doing ‘this’ and started waving his arms like a sprinkler. Then immediately fell back asleep. No memory of it. One other one…when we moved into our first house our living room had a ledge on one of the walls where I guess you could put knick knacks or plants (it was very high up, we had really high ceilings). My husband thought he could jump up and catch the ledge, so he ran up to the wall, pushed off the wall and caught it. He went to do it again and his foot went THROUGH the wall putting a giant hole in it and he flew backwards and landed in the middle of the living room. I have that one on video. :)

Now I want to see this video!!

These are all great! I’m also a sleep walker/talker/eater so I can relate to Andrew. One of my fears is sending a message to the wrong person. One time in high school one of my “friends” did this to me..she meant to text someone else saying something mean about me and sent it to me instead! Ever since then I made sure to never say anything bad about a person just in case it ends up in the wrong hands. Plus, it’s just not nice to say mean things!

Reply

I love those ten fun stories! So cute. And so amazing what you can learn about another person in just a year. And what a coincidence, but my boyfriend and I’s first date was May 3 last year – so I think exactly one week after yours!

Whenever he gets to work in the morning (he has an hour commute) he texts me to let me know he got there safely, and one day I didn’t get a text in like 1.5 hours and started to worry, so I sent him a message asking if he got there okay. He said “Yeah, I texted you like 40 min ago?” And then immediately responded with, “Oh crap, I just sent my boss: I’m here baby, love you!” Hahahaha. I guess his boss gave him a hard time about it for a few weeks.

LOVE KRISPY KREME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We decorate and have traditions, but we don’t go too crazy at holidays.

And one funny story is this song came on one day and I was trying to be all cool and was showing off my best dance moves when I whacked my knee on the coffee table…………I said “ow” and just kept dancing, but my husband thinks it’s hilarious and is one of his favorite stories.

Also when we went to Chicago to visit a friend, he took us to eat at this sandwich place he loved. Well, the beef sandwich my husband got was very juicy and it ran down his hand as he was eating it………………he didn’t realize it, but it got in his watch somehow. When we were standing up to leave, he put his arms down by his sides and beef juice ran out of his watch and onto his khaki shorts. He tried to wash it off, but it stained them, and in the photos from the rest of the day you can see the beef juice stain!

Reply

AH THAT PUPPY IS SO CUTE. Yum i love egg sandwiches too, thats something I miss being out of the country (we don’t really have cheese or good breads in this part of peru). hahahaha omg #8 is hysterical, poor andrew

Reply

I need to send you some good bread/cheese. My brother lived in Peru for a few years and my mom tried to send him some Krispy Kreme donuts… he said they were like hockey pucks by the time they got there haha! Enjoy your day Krista!

Reply

haha thats so sweet of her! I bet it also cost 100 bucks to ship that package! I asked my mom to send me Easter candy (reeses eggs) and she said no bc it would be insanely expensive :(

Reply

so when krispy Kreme first came to NY in 1998, my best friend and I drove into the city, parked outside the store, bought a box of donuts and drove home happily eating. We both ended up sick later that night or maybe it was the next day, can’t remember (not from the donuts, it was a stomach virus) and neither of us ever ate krispy Kreme again lol. we still laugh about it.

Reply

OH I LOVE IT… hahaha! What a fun memory (minus the sick part)! I hope that it is only Krispy Kreme donuts that you avoid and that normal donuts are still a part of your life:) Enjoy your day Meredith!

Reply

A. Josse’s puppy is ADORABLE! I’m kind of obsessed with puppies ;)
B. That graham cracker story is hilarious!

It’s so funny how much we can learn about our significant others between meeting/”just dating” and getting serious. Turns out my boyfriend is much nerdier than he let on when we first started talking — like, he spends way too much time playing World of Warcraft haha. But that’s OK because it also turns out I love him like crazy, and I’m sure I have my own quirks that I played down at the start ;) You’d have to ask him what they are though haha

Reply

HAHAH YES… so much more comes out about each other as things get more serious:) I love what you’ve learned about your boyfriend… we all have our quirks, ours are just more normal than everyone else’s right;)

Reply

Exactly!

Reply

These are so funny!
I love Krispy Kreme’s.
so I’ll share a story. Back on my wedding day (to my late husband) he panicked just before the reverend said you may kiss the bride. He whispered in my ear “when he says you may kiss the bride do I give you a tongue kiss or just lips??”
I laughed. I have a video of that ceremony and have only watched it a few times since my husbands passing but thinking about it makes me smile. We were so young.
P.S. he kept his tongue in his mouth and just did a simple peck. Whew!! :)

Reply

Oh SALLY… that is hilarious! I loved your wedding story haha… good thing he stuck with the peck:) Thank you for sharing and I hope you are having a beautiful day!

Reply

Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard about Andrew stroking your dads hand!!! And I cried at the Jordan Hasay interview! So thanks for the tears and the laughs this morning :-)

Reply

HAHAH I’m glad you enjoyed that! Seriously… she is such an amazing human, I can’t wait what she does in the future! Thanks Torrie and have a great day!

Reply

I get “morning sickness” too. Part of the reason we didn’t realize I was pregnant at first. Hubby used to be a morning person, until around 39-40 (we’re 10.5 years apart; he’s older), and now he’s cranky in the mornings, but he’s still able to just get up and go. I need an adjustment period. He can also eat almost as soon as he’s awake and if I even think about eating, I want to hurl.

Reply

I will have to tell Andrew he is not alone with his daily morning sickness:) Andrew totally needs that adjustment time too… just this morning I woke up and said, “wanna talk?” and he replied… ‘”if you want to, just start slowly’ hahah!! Oh that is crazy that you didn’t realize your were pregnant for a while because of how you felt! I hope your day is a great one Stephanie!

Reply

I agree with you on the show LOST. I spent years watching that show and the ending was such a let down to me. I felt like I wasted those years. Such a one and done! Does Andrew pick up on any new clues to answer things from rewatching? I guess that’s the major benefit.
Also, my roommate in college would sleep walk to get butter to eat in the middle of the night. she would wake up with a stick of butter in her hands in the morning or all over her face. So graham crackers ARE WAY BETTER! hahaha.

Reply

I’m not alone… thank you! Yes, he loves finding new clues and things he never picked up on before:) I just know the ending and know the ending bugged me so I don’t want to watch it anymore.

BUTTER!?!?!? OH MY GOODNESS!!! Yeah, I’m glad he grabbed the graham crackers haha!

Reply

The story about Andrew scratching your dad’s hand when he thought it was you is amazing! Made me laugh so hard. And your post really makes me want a Krispy Kreme donut asap!

Reply

Hahaha it was seriously so funny:) Go grab a donut tonight or I can mail you one! Enjoy your Thursday Corrinne!

Reply

I sent an email to the wrong person in which I called him a jerk. Which he was being. Thankfully he thought it was funny. Oy!

Our kids get free Krispy Kreme for their A’s on their report cards, so we get them 3 times/year. They are yummy when they are piping hot!

I love your funny stories!

I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. I walked with my eyes closed and when I went to sit down, the hubs was already there and it scared the bejeebes out of both of us!

Reply

OH NO… hahaha glad he thought it was funny:) Doesn’t your heart just drop when you realize you sent it to the wrong person?! I can’t wait for our kids to start getting grades! Oh goodness, yeah that would scare me to death too!! Thanks for sharing Marissa and I hope your Thursday is fabulous!

Reply

I am so bad about sending texts to the wrong people. One time back in the day when my friend had a crush on some guy, I wanted to send her a text about him and I sent it to him instead!!!!

That little puppy is so cute and I bet s/he will grow up to be an awesome running partner someday :)

Reply

KRISTINA… glad I’m not alone on the whole sending texts to the wrong people thing. Ohhhhh that is a good one… how did he reply?

Yes, I can’t wait and he is coming to play with Beretta soon!

Reply

Luckily he liked her too so everything turned out okay! :D It was super embarrassing when I realized my mistake though, and I felt like such a bad friend until we learned that he liked her too! Phew!

Reply

That thing of texting the wrong chat happens to me all the time. I have the funniest stories about this, like one time I was texting my ex boyfriend that I loved him so much and the message actually went to my former boss. Thank God he immediately assumed it was the wrong chat.

I also had a Krispy cream donut this week. It’s a yay for me:)

Reply

Hahaha #8 killed me, I couldn’t stop laughing. #9 is definitely me and my husband too. I practically leap out of bed and do not understand people who snooze. LOVE this list!

Reply

I’ve been very close to pressing send when texting the wrong person, but somehow I’ve managed to catch myself just in time every time.
The story of Andrew thinking your dad’s hand was yours was pretty funny.

Reply

Yeah, didn’t make it through that video without crying. Steve Burton (the interviewer) is my local sportscaster (I live in a suburb of Boston). I’ve always liked him. I like him even more now.

Reply

I haven’t sent a text to the wrong person but I have sent one in reaction that I tried to retract. Turns out you can retract them from a regular inbox but not when they’re sent to a blackberry… oops

I haven’t had a Krispy Kreme in years, I did like the cream filled one or the blueberry but only when the hot sign was on. Cold they were merely okay.

I’m somewhere in between for the holidays. There are certain things we like to do and other things we’re relaxed about if they happen or not.

So, the little boy who likes to give my husband gifts during piano lessons asked if Paul lived near the Tim Horton’s. Paul said not right near and he asked if it was very far. Paul said no and, of course, the boy smiled and said how much he enjoyed the last doughnut and asked if he could have another one. He listed his favorite flavors and we made a special trip to pick up a doughnut for this week’s lesson. Paul has hero status at the moment. ;-)

Group text to in laws horror story:

I had just gotten a Brazilian bikini wax and sent a text to my girlfriend saying, “Ok, I just got everything waxed and having a drink of wine before was a game changer. Less painful.”

Only it was not to my BFF. It was to a group message with my Father in Law, Mother in Law…. Brother in Law. You name it. I. WAS. MORTIFIED. The best/worst part is my father in law replied with, “I hope you are talking about your car!”

I will NEVER forget that!!!

Reply

The things we’re willling to put up with at the beginning of relationships… haha…. I loved reading your little anecdotes from your first year. I am glad you wrote them down too, because I am sure we have stories but I don’t remember half of them…. ;)

Now I crave a fried egg sandwich, thankyouverymuch. :)

Reply

You two are so cute. Those stories make me miss the “getting to know you” phase of my relationship.

Wrong person/text–all the flippin’ time. But I get them from other people too so I always try to make sure they know I’ve btdt and I’m mentally deleting whatever I read.

Krispy Kreme–only if they’re warm. After a trip to the temple we took our 12-13 yr old YW to get some and NONE of them had had KK before. EVER! I texted the mom thread and was all “What the what, ladies?!?!” :)

Holidays–we definitely have traditions, but I wouldn’t say we’re over the top or all out on stuff. Maybe, middle of the road?

Funny story–I was texting someone in our ward RS presidency about a lady I visit teach. There were some complications in her pregnancy and she needed to take shots and that is the word I typed but as I hit “send” autocorrect went to work. I literally screamed at my phone when I saw what Siri “thought” I meant. (Think about it…yep, that’s the word.) I wanted to DIE and couldn’t apologize fast enough. She texted back that she hadn’t laughed that hard in a while. It’s funny now, but back then…?

Reply

Ha these stories are too good (if that is even a thing). We had a group text going for work when I was still somewhat new and I did something similar. I might need to write up some of the funny stuff that has happened to my husband and I too!

Reply

I’ve sent a few texts to the wrong people and it’s so embarrassing! Loved reading these stories about you two!

Reply

I love your stories, but number 8 had me cracking up. I could just picture it in my head. Toooo funny.

I don’t often send text to the wrong person, I tend to write and text and never hit send. Like all the time. People think I am just rude and don’t want to talk to them, then I wonder why they haven’t responded and go to check to see if they did, and see that I never sent my text.

Reply

Oh I do that too!! I don’t know why I forget to push send but I just do. You aren’t alone Amanda!

Reply

#7 & 8 had me laughing so loud! Thanks for the laugh:)

My husband has sent some pretty funny texts to the wrong people as well. We will joke about a few f them until we die, I’m sure:)

Reply

These are funny stories. I laughed out loud! Andrew meant to send me a text that read “I fall in love with you more and more each day” but he sent it to another realtor who had just taken clients through one of Andrew’s listings.

Reply

OH NOOOOOO hahahah!!! I love it:) Thanks for sharing Suzy and I hope you are having an amazing day!

Reply

I hate text mix-ups! I have texted “I love you” to one of my coworkers before because his name was so close to my fiance’s. I was SO embarrassed. Now, I triple check before I hit send.

I love the morning sickness story… I always joke that my fiance has morning sickness because he always feels sick when he has to wake up to early (or rather, everyday when he has to wake up early for work). I should probably be more sympathetic, but I can’t help but tease him a little. I hope he is more kind than I am when I am pregnant and actually have it!

Reply

OH NO…. yeah, that would be quite embarrassing haha! Hahaha don’t worry, I tease Andrew a little about it too:) I hope you are having a wonderful day Jenny!

Reply

Janae! I signed up for St. George Marathon literally the hour they opened up registration! I am so excited. I have only spent a total of about two hours in St. George when we stopped there to eat (at Cafe Rio) and load up on groceries for our trip to the Grand Canyon, BUT I fell in love. I knew immediately that I needed an excuse to return, so as a runner, logically the best answer was to return to run a marathon. I cannot wait!

Reply

AHHH JOSIE!!! I am so so incredibly happy for you! I am obsessed with this marathon… you are going to love it! Maybe I’ll se you down there:) Glad you ate at Cafe Rio… the best! Have an amazing day!

Reply

We were newly married and my husband was showering. I snuck in with a cup of ice water and poured it in the shower. He screamed and almost fell. Needless to say, he locks the door when he showers now! We love doing practical jokes on each other and the kids.

Reply

I laughed out loud at your stories. Too funny! Definitely texted the wrong person more times than I can count.

Reply

Krispy Kreme YAY for sure, though I have to admit I’ve been trying to stay away for the moment, it’s really hard to drive by after work specially when that red light is on and all I can think of is getting home and having coffee with a delicious warm donut after a long day at work.

Reply

I’ve sent out messages to the wrong people so many times! It never gets less embarrassing! Ha!

Krispy Kreme donuts are pretty awesome in my book! They’re so light and fluffy, I feel like I could just eat a whole box! :)

I love the holidays too!! I need to start a tradition list though for sure!

Reply

When we were first married my husband was very into the whole scaring me thing. One time I thought I would get him back. He was in the shower and I was going to pour cold water on him, like he had done to me. I went to find a cup but all I could find was our glass Pyrex measuring cup (the quart size-I wanted a lot of cold water!). Apparently he heard me coming. So when I went to pour the water on him he jumped out and scarred me and I threw the Pyrex dish on accident. He had stitches in his eyebrow for a few weeks!

Reply

My husband is a sleepwalker too! The weirdest thing he’s ever done, was I woke up one morning & he had stacked piles of his theology textbooks all around the bed. It was so strange, we still laugh about it!

Reply

The graham crackers. I die!
The other night, I was sound asleep and all of a sudden I felt something on my face and shoulder and jumped straight out of bed trying to brush whatever it was off of me (I was convinced that it was a mouse).
Luckily, my husband-who actually woke up to this (uncommon) realized that his arm was across the bed on my pillow. He had touched my face and shoulder in his sleep. I was glad it wasnt a mouse or something ;)

Reply

OK, #8 made me literally LOL. HA! I love all of these- you all are a great couple :D

All donuts are a “Yay” for me, but Krispy Kreme isn’t my favorite.

And definitely all out for Christmas!! (and birthdays!) I like all holidays, but those 2 categories are my favorite!

Reply

Okay, I have a good one…I did Marine Corps Marathon last fall with my friend, and as we were getting ready at the hotel the night before I picked up her bib and noticed that she had actually filled out the emergency info on the back (you know, the part runners are usually too lazy to fill out and/or we are afraid of getting ink on our shirts). I looked closer and noticed that on the line for allergies she had put…cats and dust mites. I just about died laughing imagining people hurling kittens and old pillows at her during the marathon – good thing the paramedics had that vital info handy! ;)

Reply

Yes, I sent a text that was meant for my husband (sort of about his sister) and it WENT TO HIS SISTER!! UGH! I moved her name away from my hubby’s in my contacts after that.

OMG!! #8 had me truly laughing out loud!!!

Reply

Krispy Kreme are one of my things. Btwn the donuts and Haribo gummi bears I think I could live off those.

10 days from Big Sur marathon, my second, wish me luck.

Reply

My boyfriend sleep eats ALL the time. Oreos in this household. He’ll get up, eat about 6 of them and go right back to sleep! He never remembers either! So strange!

Reply

My husband also sleep walks and has no memory of it! Kind of freaky! Your stories had me laughing out loud :)

I just have to comment because there are so many similarities between Andrew and my husband…it is so odd!!
The first one I noticed – exact same relationship between my husband and dog as Andrew/Berretta – alllll the BFF cuddle time lol our dog is a black lab/border collie mix, so very similar energy level too
He snacks in the night and doesn’t remember – I have on a few occasions over our 3 years marriage woken up to a trail of crumbs from the pantry to the couch and I investigate what snack it was (haha!)
Has ALSO scratched a family members head or shoulder…I forget…it was my brother and the exact scenario you described. I was dying laughing!!! That was back when we were dating too. Oh man…so funny.

Other fun facts: Former mountain bike racer turned ultra runner. And now he’s wrapping up a Phd in molecular biology but considering going to Med school to become a rural family/wildnerness doctor… I think he and Andrew would get along :)

Reply

Your text story reminded me of the time I sent an email meant for my husband to my BOSS. I sat right outside of his office at the time, so when he opened it two seconds after I sent it and laughed out loud, I immediately knew and about DIED of embarrassment!

Have a great weekend!! :)

Reply

Lol about the text. The morning after our wedding night I accidentally Snap chatted my MOTHER IN LAW a picture that was meant only for my husband (don’t worry, I wasn’t nakey). I wanted to barf my guys out. Woke my husband in a total and complete panic!!!! Luckily we didn’t have service so the snap never sent. HALLELUJAH! But he definitely text her warning her not to open the picture. My face is still red about it.

Reply

I have a SUPER embarassing story!! My husband and I were trying to spice things up and I decided to send him a … personal picture ;) Well, I have never done that sort of thing and was super crazy nervous about it and so to get my nerve up I just sent it quick before I wimped out. Aaaand I SENT IT TO HIS MOM!!! (I had her listed with his name and “Mom” after it in my contacts. I realized it as soon as it sent and was MORTIFIED!!! I called him crying hysterically and he called his mom and told her NOT to open the message but just delete it. I have no idea if she really looked at it or not but for about a year I couldn’t look her in the eye.

Reply

I LOVE Krispy Kreme donuts! We used to live near a shop and we could never leave without getting at least a dozen for just the two of us… It was a miracle if the box lasted even 12 hours.

Reply

I ate so many Krispy Kreme donuts when I was in high school (we sold them all year long as a fund raiser for our senior trip to D.C.) that I’m surprised that I don’t get sick at the thought of them. Ha! Let’s just say that I wouldn’t turn one down if you offered it to me!

Reply

My husband sleep eats! The weirdest thing he’s eaten was an entire bunch of bananas. Or he will also get up and drink a can of pop in his sleep. We live in a bungalow, so what freaks me out more is that he goes down a flight of stairs in his sleep! It’s bizarre.
