Sunglasses usually leave lines on the top of my nose after I wear them for a while but these ones don’t at all… I think it is because they are super light yet at the same time they are durable and sturdy.

A few things from yesterday. It has been ages since our last baking extravaganza together so we decided to make whole wheat banana bread. We both agreed on using chocolate chips instead of blueberries this time around though.
Brooke is helping to keep me injury free by being my foam rolling buddy and…
by sitting on me while I am in pigeon pose (stretching out my hips). She makes sure that I don’t get up out of the stretch too early like I normally do.
And last but not least Brooke is obsessed with the exact same flamingo that I was obsessed with when I was 11 years old. We have the same taste.
Off to do a Lactate Threshold Test this morning which is probably going to make my lungs and muscles work really hard and hurt a lot.

Over the Holiday weekend, I plan to drive up to the mountains in NC (sunglasses are a necessary safety precaution), go for a run and enjoy cooler air (I always run in sunglasses), take my daughter to the lake (we will BOTH wear sunglasses… that water is highly reflective), get the family out on a hike (sunglasses all around), and check out some fireworks with an Appalachian backdrop (never watched fireworks with sunglasses on… that’s something new to try).
