Saturday: 20 miler and a wine tasting tonight.
Almond butter

I like almond butter, but I love peanut butter. I don’t agree the the suggested serving size though, who can eat that little when its so delicious!?

I had to work this morning so no run for me until tomorrow. On the plus side, I am getting a massage after my 20 miler tomorrow, so I’ll consider that a win! Other than work and run, just watching lots of basketball and hopefully seeing my bracket stay somewhat intact!

sometimes I feel like the only one left who thinks peanut butter > almond butter. Glad to know a fellow PB lover :)

I think peanut butter trumps almond butter too. PB lovers unite!

I’ve never tried almond butter. And Awe baby.!! So tiny and cute :)

Today.. calls for 10 miles and than off to work.

Reply

You should. It’s amazing.
~be prepared for sticker shock though. It’s way pricier than peanut butter.

Baby is so precious! Today I’m going for a hike first time on this trail and first time since being injured last year. The only thing I’m scared of are rattlesnakes. Wish me luck with that because I will freak it I see one! Then shopping, cooking and blogging. Always always alway almond butter!

I really like almond butter but peanut butter will always be my favorite.
I ran 12 miles yesterday, so today is an easy run with my husband!

It’s a rest day for me, complete with some much needed foam rolling! Wow, your nephew is just the best. What a complete joy it must be to hold that little guy… and sniff his adorable baby head (babies do smell so awesome, right??).

Your nephew is so adorable! I’m out of running for a while but I’m going for a walk with my mum at the Heath (which is basically hills & forests) this morning and I’m hoping it doesn’t rain!
Definitely creamy peanut butter, so addicted to it! I’m always so jealous when I see froyo, England really needs to get into froyo because I miss it so much!!

Love the coloring and Rudolph CD, you’re such a great mom!

I’m gonan do 3.5 miles today with my dog Roxy, then relax with my husband and friends and watch my bracket get destroyed in March Madness!

Reply

I just finished up some pool running and swimming this morning…doesn’t compare to an outdoor run but its a good option while I am recovering from an injury! I love making my own almond butter…it’s the only kind I will buy now!

10 miler this morning, laundry, basketball and some clothes shopping with my baby (she’s 12 but will always be my baby). PB all the way, almond butter ok.

PB for the win! I went through an AB phase in grad school, but PB is my first love. :)

Today we’re house hunting and shopping for a gift to bring to a baby shower tomorrow! Have a great weekend!

Reply

I have to work for a bit today. Lots to do around the house. Get my run in at some point. I’ve never tried almond butter but I love PB!

Reply

Peanut butter for sure! I love to color, it’s one of my favorite ways to relax and unplug…15 miles this morning, such a great run!

Reply

Just finished five easy miles on the treadmill. It was lovely! And peanut butter all the way. I’m headed to work for the day and then down to Phoenix for some sun and warmth! woo

Reply

I make my own almond butter and I was actually selling it to a number of people before I moved to Chicago. Now to get a new customer base…

My long run is tomorrow so today I am just relaxing and postponing my taxes :)

Reply

I’m off for 9 miles in nice weather pretty soon…I’ve never tried almond butter but I am tempted to pick up a jar next time I go to TJs!

How many kids and balls can one trampoline hold? Haha! Looks like a great time.

Yesterday my husband and I found the house of our dreams!!! We put in an offer and it was accepted. Eeeek! All I can think about doing today is furniture/decor shopping and packing. I am looking forward to doing a little spring cleaning in the process. And finally – I get to start planning for a nursery. :)

Will likely take a 4-5 jog this morning. I’m planning for a long run tomorrow, so we’ll see what gets done today.

Saturday plans = cuddling with my baby boy (13 months) and trying to get him well …looks like he’s got a stomach bug for the 3rd time this year. Oh and laundry, lots and lots of laundry.

Those coconut macaroons in your fro yo are little bites of heaven. I almost got in my car at 9pm last night and drove to yogurtland cause fro yo sounded soooo good. Ross stopped me. The jerk.

You can’t make me choose between peanut butter and almond butter. I won’t do it.

I got to the gym super early to do the step mill and the machine was taken. I couldn’t bear the thought of doing the elliptical again so I ran. I probably shouldn’t have. But I did. 6 miles and then I went to the insanity class.

Hope your run went well today!! Boston is so close! Aahhhhhh.

Thank you for reminding me that I too need more shrimp in my life!

Reply

PB over all other nut butters hands down. It’s just the best!

I’m not sure what I’m going to do today for a run. I was supposed to race a 5K this weekend but my heart just isn’t into it. I think I’ll do 3-5 miles to1day and then 10 tomorrow instead. Double digit runs are so much nicer than 5Ks! Just thinking about making the switch to 10 easy makes me feel comforted! hahaha

Reply

I happily don’t have anything planned for today. I may do a little work on the computer, but otherwise I’m just seeing where the day takes me. My long run is tomorrow, so I’m taking it easy today.

1 week until my first race of the year!

I keep trying to like almond butter as much as I like peanut butter, but I just don’t. Peanut butter all the way!

Shrimp in mexican dishes is the bomb!

Pool running – its my current life!! :)
Almond butter all the way as my son is allergic to peanuts and we don’t have peanuts in our house.
Birthday party at Natural History Museum, and hopefully a movie for me this evening.
Hope your long run is awesome!
Have a great day!!!!

Saturday plans involve a quick run then off to work

10 miles for this week’s long run! The forecast has been jumping around like crazy but it looks like it is going to be a rainy one. Oh well – post-run hot chocolate will bring out my hardcore-ness. ;)

Your sister’s new babe is precious!

No running for me today – I did the crossfit open 15.4 instead.

Reply

I always have at least 3 different jars of pb/almond/cookie butter open at once :)

Just got in an 18-miler after taking care of a sick puppy all night. Rough.

Hope you’re house hunting is going well!

Reply

Crossfit and running then having my four year old nephew stay the night.

I want to like almond butter and I love almonds but I really just prefer peanut butter.

Babies at the best!

Reply

Ahhh that baby is adorable!

Spin class + 3 miles on the dreadmill this morning. Wedding shower for one of my dearest friends tonight!

Peanut Butter.

Reply

I have a very easy recipe for shrimp BLTs. Shrimp, good toast, bacon, and an avocado type of salsa but I use guac instead. So easy and yummy.

That sounds like HEAVEN!! Thank you for sharing with me:)

I love Target! Enjoy your weekend!

Taking care of a sick kiddo and taking the other to a birthday party this afternoon…plus the hubs is working so I’m hoping to squeeze in a nap!

No run today, tomorrow the goal is 6 miles.

I like peanut butter, but on of my kiddos doesn’t like the taste of it or almond butter. He gets cashew butter instead.

Reply

My Saturday plan is sitting on the couch all day after my 9 miler last night (for me, the longest run I’ve done since August) and practicing cello. :)
I don’t know whether I can choose between almond or peanut butter. I love Justin’s Maple Almond butter, but I also love the creaminess of pb :)

Hola Chicas! Up late at 6:30 then 3.3 mile run. Afterwards, shower, makeup & off to one my park’s grand opening then physical therapy for my low back. Home to eat lunch, pack & headed to Tucson for the night. Staying at the beautiful JW Marriot Starr Pass. In the morning, I’ll run 1.5 miles that is 90% uphill. Pool & Mai tai’s here we come. Have a fabulous weekend! ;)

Short run, 6 miles. I pulled a groin muscle- not fun.

Cat to the vet for a recheck and cased in our free iced coffee for the first day of spring.

Almond butter, especially before a run.

I liked Blue Apron. I changed some of the recipes a bit but I rarely make anything exactly the way the recipe reads.

Reply

I did a 10k this morning and it was great! I finished 5 minutes faster than my plan. And it was my first race of the season so it was just fun. And there were homemade cinnamon rolls when I got home!

We have an almond allergy in our house but I don’t even care because I just love plain old Jif so so much! I have been eating a lot of PB lately.

Reply

Lunch at a winery with my family on Saturday (to celebrate my birthday), and no run for me, because I’m running a race on Sunday!

Hmmm … probably peanut butter for taste, but I think I just haven’t found the perfect almond butter yet.

Reply

Have you tried the Whole Food Honey Roasted Peanut Butter? It’s AHmazing!

Reply

I would definitely hide my child’s cd too if she kept wanting it over and over. That would drive me nuts.

I will eat all nut butters. I do not discriminate against nuts.

I hiked for two hours today.

Reply

What a cute little baby. Target USA seems much cooler than Target Aus. I love peanut butter but my son is allergic. When he isn’t around I sometimes have a peanut butter binge. I’m going to put almond butter on my to try list. No run for me as I’m injured. Weekend involved studying and watching cricket (its Sunday here).

Reply

Aww! Look at all his hair! I swear, your entire family has THE BEST HAIR! Luckies ;)

Reply

I don’t really like either, but I would choose peanut butter mixed in with something, rather than almond butter. Oh and can I just say that I love your hair! :)

Reply

I went out for a run on Saturday and realized how out of shale I am :(
