Great run followed by my #1 craving and Hunger Games Giveaway [CLOSED]

I got in a great run this morning and apparently burned 1238 calories which I will replenish with 3 DQ Blizzards after school today……have you ever been on a treadmill or cardio machine that gave a somewhat accurate calorie count?

I didn’t wake up during the night last night so when my alarm clock went off I felt wide awake and either my energy was going to go towards finally cleaning my bathroom and kitchen or running…I think you know what I will always choose. Having a clean house is overrated.

I played around with the speeds a little bit but mostly I was so busy trying to understand the craziness of the latest Bachelor episode that I didn’t have time to push that speed button up or down.  Plus I am enjoying this whole ‘running at a comfortable pace’ thing.

Random intermission (because that is the theme of my blog) Billy’s calf has been feeling heavy/sore lately and so he has been using electrotherapy on it every night since and it is back to normal.  We are strong believers in the power of those little paddles.

In other news I haven’t been feeling like candy as much as usual, I think something is seriously wrong.  My mom still won’t believe me about this because she has witnessed my obsession with candy for the last 26 years.  I have been craving more baked goods now and after 5 days of NEEDING crumb donettes I was finally able to fulfill my fantasy today.   Don’t worry billy, I had a healthy breakfast before eating these.

Dialogue in my head, “Finally, I have you after searching the entire grocery store on Saturday and not finding you.  I have thought about you ever since then and now you are mine, thank you Walmart.”

This post has no rhyme or reason but there is one important matter to bring up:

Photo 6

A student gave me a bag of Stacey’s Pita Chips and I opened it to find this.  I had only eaten one by the time I took this picture.  That is 8 chips in a whole bag….is it just me and my crazy portion distortion or is this normal?

Chocolate Hostess all the way. No run today… today is my rest day and I’m parked on the couch with no intention of moving.

Reply

ENJOY every second of your rest day…couch time is a necessary part of training!

Reply

I had a great treadmill run at the gym this am! Don’t worry, your sweet tooth will come back! When I was pregnant I couldn’t even think about chocolate without wanting to puke – this coming from a girl who believes chocolate should have its own food group. All I wanted was fried – anything fried and cheesy. I am not really a donut person, but I would go for anything with those delicious little crumb toppings on it.
I haven’t read the book, but want to see the movie – too bad I live across the country!:-)

Reply

Wish I lived close enough to take part in your giveaway!

I am currently reading the Hunger Game. Just got the three books on Thursday. My daughter and I are reading them so we can see the movie. She is not happy with my reading progress at this point. Oops!

No run today, but have a group run scheduled bright and early tomorrow.

Chocolate donuts of course!

I really like pita chips. And hummus! Yum, hummus. I saw Gingerbread pita chips in the store not too long ago. I was afraid to try them…

Reply

I had a setback while running. Ran 2 minutes less than last time. Hoping I can get my groove back on my next run!

Reply

BUMMER about your setback!! Take some time off and I am hoping your next run will be incredible!

Reply

Loved the Hunger Games. Ripped through all three on my Kindle in a week.

I ran my regular 6 miles with my friends, then went to gym for a quick 2 tempo miles.

I have not had those little donuts in a long time, but I would probably go with powdered.

That serving size is pathetic. Give me volume…like popcorn

I am obsessed with The Hunger Games! I try to channel a little bit of Katniss into my every day life. :)
There is also a Hunger Games nail polish line…beautiful.

Reply

WHAT….I am going to have to find this polish!! Katniss really is so awesome!

Reply

It is China Glaze. One polish for each district! Here is a link to a nail blogger who swatched and reviewed them all!

I loved The Hunger Games! I’m excited to see the movie. I hope it lives up to the books.

I didn’t run today, but I did workout with my ladies at boot camp :)

All of the Hostess donettes are good…this is really hard. I wish they would make a variety pack because I really love them all. If I had to choose, I would probably pick the chocolate ones.

I love pita chips, especially with hummus or tzakiki.

Reply

I am going to see The Hunger Games at midnight w/ a friend and then we are both playing hookie from work the next day and seeing it AGAIN in the afternoon after we sleep in (does it count as playing hookie if you TELL your boss you aren’t coming in cause your seeing Hunger Games at midnight and again the next day and he just laughs at you? Because that is what happened).

I had a great run this morning 10.6 miles in 82 mins!

Pita (or should I say Peeta since this is Hunger Games themed?) Chips and Hummus are my favorite snack.

Reply

Chocolate. Always. Great, now I NEED some of those, thanks!

Planning on 3 – 4 miles after work in the Back Bay here in Newport. Sadly short distance I know but that’s where I’m at right now.

Reply

I loved the Hunger Games! I read the complete series in about a week, which is saying a lot since I have two toddlers. I am going with my mom and sister to see the movie and I can’t wait! My run today was 6.5 miles of unmotivated running. I just didn’t want to do it. I would much rather have been eating chocolate donettes. Unfortunately, I am not pregnant and burning extra calories every day, so I can’t eat them. But I want to, and that’s what is important!

Reply

I’m a pita chips fanatic! With a side of tzatzkikikikiiki (I added extra k’s and i’s because I definitely knew I was going to spell it wrong).

Wish I lived closer – a great giveaway! I loved Hunger Games :)

Reply

LOVED the Hunger Games and is it silly to say that when I see the movie preview I get goosebumps? Eh, whatever, I’m toooooo excited!

I stuck with some incline walking and yoga… I think my students passed along a stomach bug so I avoided running.

Mmmmmmmmm can I answer the donut question with a variety pack of all three, please?!

Reply

i follow yogurtland on twitter!!! i’d love to win the tickets!

as for the donuts, i’d totally go for the crumb donuts too. the powdered ones are my runner-up. ;)

Reply

Running at a comfortable pace was one of the best things about being pregnant;-) That and DQ.

No run for me today–the toddler and I have influenza:-( This is really going to put a damper on my marathon training….I am bummed about it, but I know there are worse things in life than getting sick.

Reply

i just started following them! please pick me! my work was going to rent out a theater but decided not to! i am so sad and want these so bad!!

Reply

Sorry, about the one letter post. I got really excited at your mention of the Hunger Games and hit something on my computer. I loved the books, couldn’t put them down. Now I really wish I lived it Utah. I am super excited for the movie.
I ran 2.5 miles this morning, my body is trying to get sick and I am trying to sweat it out. I also did a little Shred!
I love crumb donuts (and the chocolate ones), the little hostess are my favorites.
I love pita chips with hummus.

Reply

Woah, WAIT A SECOND! Hugh Laurie is in The Hunger Games?

Reply

Okay, apparently not… so why is he in that Hunger Games picture?

Reply

Haha that’s what I was wondering. The whole cast on that picture is wrong. I guess it’s one of those “who I think should be in the movie” posters.

Reply

Darn, I was super excited!

Reply

Hahaha oops! I just put up the first picture I saw! I’ll fix it ASAP!

Reply

I wouldn’t have even noticed if it wasn’t for that. I thought that the girl in the poster was actually the girl who was supposed to play Katniss.

Reply

LOVE the Hunger Games!! Can’t wait to finish the other two books.
My last run was EPIC!! Except I was pissed about missing a picture…you know you are a blogger when…..http://eatpraytri.wordpress.com/2012/03/06/i-got-a-pr-and-am-so-mad-and-protein-shake/

Reply

Hi Janae! Just wanted to tell you thats definitely a fan-made image: those aren’t the people in the hunger games! Hehehe, Katniss is being played by Jennifer Lawrence, and there is DEFINITELY no Hugh Laurie/Elle Fanning. ;)

Reply

LOVED reading The Hunger Games (have only read the first one).

I bet those candy cravings come back!

Reply

So excited for Hunger Games! I’ve read all the books but we’ve been listening to it on cd! I’m following on twitter so I hope I win!

Reply

Love the chocolate ones… never had the crumb ones. Do they have coconut? I don’t like coconut. Glad you got a good run in… I did my long run of the week, only 13 miles. Woo hoo for cutback week! I’ve got a 4-mile race this weekend, so I’m gearing up for that. :)

Where do you get the electrotherapy materials? That might be something I wanna look into about the tendinitis in my foot.

Reply

I love those hostess donettes, chocolate for me. Now I am having a serious craving………..and the dialog in my head is ” just get in the car and run to the nearest gas station to get some…….Janae told you to.

Just an easy run, but oh so enjoyable, its warm here.

Reply

Ahhhh I’m so jealous of the Hunger Games giveaway! I can’t believe it’s almost here, I’m so excited!

Reply

I’m followin yogurtland. I would love those tickets. I didn’t read the books. After my disappointment with the incongruities in the the Harry Potter books and movies, I didn’t want to have the same experience with the Hungry Games.

I love the chocolate donuts. They leave a nice waxy coating in your mouth. “Chocolate coating helps it go down easier”.

Reply

I read all three books in about 2 weeks. I couldn’t put them down! Can’t wait to see the movie to see how it compares to my imagination!!

I met up with a friend early this morning for a run, but ended up not participating because something started hurting really bad between my calf and my hamstring. I’m super agitated about it.

Reply

Lucky for me I live in Utah and I follow Yogurtland on twitter!

I always want to eat the powdered doughnuts on road trips but they are way too messy, especially when you have to share with your kids.

Reply

I’m a-followin’ Yogurtland!! don’t know why i wasn’t b4… LAME! ;) Are the tickets only good at an Orem theater? I LOVE the books! I’m so excited for the movie! My roommate is in love with Peeta, yet she calls him Peter because “it’s easier to say”… haha
10 miles today. woo!
definitely crumb, is that even a question? (i know it is…sarcasm is my middle name) ;)
never had pita chips, but that serving size is PA-THE-TIC!

Reply

I read all 3 Hunger Games books in the space of about 5 days, I was that hooked. We had to take an emergency trip back east for my husband’s grandfather’s funeral, so picked up the first book at the airport book store. I then forced my husband and BIL to stop at Walmart twice (on the way from and to the airport) to get books 2 and 3. I am now re-reading them. Completely obsessed. Can’t wait for the movie!

Reply

How do you work out in the morning?! I wish I could, actually I could, but sleep is inevitably more important to me. What time does your school start? I’m at school by 7, sometimes quarter of if I didn’t do enough planning the day before, thus I cannot work out at 5 something in the morning, or rather don’t want to. I assume that the Tix are for around there, which doesn’t help me out, but we already bought our midnight showing tix…..can’t wait, Loved those books! Did you read them? How do you feel about who was cast for the parts, if you care about that:-)

Reply

I can’t wait for the movie to come out! I’m slowly reading the final book because I don’t want it to end.
I ran on my lunch break today, 3 miles, and realized I need to find a new route now that I am pregnant. One with a lot of bathrooms. Or I could just do loops around my house :)

Reply

I had a great long run today. It was 13 on the training plan, but I made it 13.1 just for kicks (and because it was beautiful out). Glad you had a great run too! I’ll be refueling with cereal because it’s national cereal day!

Reply

My daughter is obsessed with hunger Games so I am going to read them next!!!
Yum,those donuts look delish.I would choose powdered but regret it since then my black workout clothes(which I live in-at least capri tights anyway)-would be all covered with it.I used to eat crumb cake(Hostess I think) from my corner deli back in NYC before a workout-love.
Today I swam 2000 yes and ran 2 mi-yipee!And some pushups and sit-ups.I am eating some sour patch jellybeans right now.
And yes-all size bags of the Stacy’s chips are lacking. They are sooo god though!

Reply

good,not God!!!:)

Reply

I can’t wait to see the movie! I might need to get a girl on fire tshirt…! But did YOU read the books???!!

Reply

I read the Hunger Games twice and already have midnight tickets.
The picture you posted is definitely a fan made poster and not of the actual cast though.

Not running today…I don’t think.
And the white powdered donuts for sure!

Reply

Ran in 15 mile an hour wind this morning. I’m so tired from fighting that wind. Those donettes bring back great memories of eating them with my grandparents (what good parents would let their children eat that for breakfast?!?) Did not read the Hunger Games, but here’s another random thought for a good read, “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society” by Anne Barrows. Don’t let the name fool you…it’s a great love story.

Reply

i think i would always choose baked goods ;)

and please please please pick me for the giveaway win! i really want to go see this movie and stalk yogurtland on twitter, facebook, real life, through your blog…i mean seriously <—-i am dedicated fan of y-land and the hunger games ;)

Reply

Crumb…all the way!! I am following yogurtland on twitter!

Reply

I wanna win! :) I “follow” them. Oh, and when I was buying my treadmill, I asked the Nordictrack people about the calories, and they told me that it bases the calorie burns on someone weighing 185 pounds.

Reply

You should write Stacey’s a letter and send them a copy of the photo to complain. Sometimes when you give hem feedback about these types of things they send you a few coupons in the mail. That does seem like a rip off too.

Reply

I am currently on the first book of the hunger games! Addicted

I did crossfit this morning and am now on an 8 miler!

Pita chips fan? who isnt!

Reply

I followed them on twitter! I love the donut dunker sticks. Definitely not a fan of hostess cupcakes though, I HATE cream/frosting:(

Reply

Love the new HRG Baby tab!!

What a joke for Stacy’s to only give you 8 chips… guess you’re gonna have to splurge for the Costco jumbo bag :)!

Reply

I’m following Yogurtland!!

Reply

omg! You have made me soo hungry… I love all those donuts!! I might have to go get some now and I don’t even have a baby bump as an excuse for my cravings!! =) oh and I can’t wait for the Hunger games movie!! I loved the books and I think the movie looks like it will be awesome….As opposed to how the Twilight movies turned out… (although I still dragged my husband to see each one and may even own a few! hehe)

Reply

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
Don’t you love the feeling when you have the first run in what you realize is the start of spring? Today was the first time in 2012 that I ran in shorts and a sports bra. I let myself go by feel and ran 7 miles in 48:05, I wanted to keep going but knew i needed to be SMART and not overdo the mileage for this week- see i’m learning from you! :)

Reply

LOVED The Hunger Games…..I’m starting book 2 TONIGHT, and can’t wait for the movie.

LOVE chocolate donettes. I don’t care that they look plastic- they taste AWESOME.

Yep I ran today and I really pushed myself. Although when I was done I felt really dizzy and lightheaded. I think I am still not fully recovered from my cold.Has that happened to you?
You know, every time you mention a food I feel like I HAVE to try it. You got me hooked on cottage cheese&grapes and now I want to try a dq blizzard. All I can say is thanks :)

Ahh I can’t wait for the Hunger Games! My BFF actually just got us tickets to the midnight showing here in Missouri. I cannot wait!!!

LOVE The Hunger Games! I finally read them last month and it was the best read since Twilight.
No running today, I’ve had zero time at work. We are getting ready for Ron Ben-Israel to come down and teach.

I did read the books, and I can’t wait to see the movie! I think that girl playing the lead is just adorable. <3 My sister and I already have a Hunger Games/sushi date planned for later this month. :)

Reply

THOSE ARE THE BEST MINI DONUTS! That is all.

Reply

The treadmill at the gym at our hotel told me I burned about 1200 calories after run/walking for 4 miles. Um, pretty sure I only burned about 300. But you know some people were running for the hamburgers after 10 minutes on that treadmill! ;)

Reply

omg!!! this is awesome!!totally liked!!!

Reply

It’s always such a let down to open a bag of Stacey’s Pita Chips. Even if you have a huge bag from BJs there is only 20 chips. Boo!!

Reply

I am not really a candy person, but I am a BAKED GOODS goddess! I am glad to see you have come to my side of the world ;)!! Chocolate donuts all the way.

I haven’t read the Hunger Games yet! We have a road trip coming up, so I am thinking maybe I’ll get the audio book for our drive home!

Today was a non-run day. I ran yesterday and the day before, so today was a strength day – did a killer lower body dvd and walked my dog 4 miles. I always run outside around town with my favorite workout buddy – my dog!

Reply

I read the Hunger Games and LOVED it! Made my sister read it too. Can’t wait for the movie!

I did a 4 mile tempo run today, and it felt awesome! I’m hoping I burned enough calories to hit the crumb donettes (clearly the best choice). :)

Reply

LOVE the Hunger Games (bordering on obsession…)!! I have tickets for opening day…no midnight show craziness but I CAN’T wait!!

I did Body Sculpt today…getting some strength training in today which I wasn’t super into because it was super warm here today (60 in March..crazy town!).

White powdered donuts and chocolate milk…yum!

I like Stacy’s but I have been doing a little make it at home pita chips (thanks pinterest) and like those better!

I am so excited for The Hunger Games movie! I just lent my bff the books so she can go to the movie with my sister and I!
Wish I lived in the same state, so we could go to the movie together!

I am looking forward to watching the Hunger Games, just finished the book and
cannot wait for the movie to be released. Ran 6 miles after work and Chocolate
Donuts are what I crave, YUM…….

Those white powered donuts are pretty much my physical idea of heaven.

Sorry, the rest just can’t come close.

Maybe you can start eating twix??? Cookies AND candy ;-)

Reply

So when do we get to see the bump?

Reply

I was having leg issues and I went and bought the heavy duty drugstore compression stockings and my legs have never felt better. I feel like a new person! I did a hill workout and powdered donuts all the way!!!

Wow, that’s a lot of running.
I’ve been running more and doing more weights, but today was a rest day :)
It sure is motivating to read about other runners though, will run tomorrow with my baby :D

I think I might gain 50lbs during your pregnancy if you keep posting pics of things like donuts and Blizzards!

Reply

I read the Hunger Games and can’t wait to see the movie!

Ran 8 miles up and down a gigantic hill at a fast pace. Killer workout :-)

Not a doughnut fan, but I can get behind some pita chips!

Reply

I LOVE the Hunger Games! I am ridic excited for the movie. I need to reread all the books again to get super stoked.

No run for me today. Today is my birthday, so instead, I celebrated after work with some friends and now am tucking myself into bed with a good (running) book – one I got from your blog, even! I moved my speedwork to tomorrow — first speedwork ever, and I’m not 100% sure I know what I’m doing. This could be interesting!

Happy Wednesday!

Amanda!!!!! Happy happy happy birthday! I hope you are having the best day ever! What book did you get? Are you liking it?

Reply

Thank you!!! I am reading The Runner’s Body. I’m a total science nerd and I’m fascinated by the biomechanics of the human body, so I’m totally hooked on this book! But I saw it in one of your posts and looked it up. Love it!

I am so so happy you are loving it!!! There is so much information in there. Enjoy and happy birthday again!

Thanks! And again, congrats on HungryRunnerBebe!

Oh my gosh I LOVED The Hunger Games and am absolutely going to the premier!! And will be making stew and baking bread beforehand to celebrate the love of Katniss and Peeta. Yes I am that cool.

Reply

I didn’t work out. I am sick, stressed, hormonal and exhausted. I am sure it would have made me feel better, but instead I made Chicken Fajitas.

Reply

No running, today was a cross training day so I did a yoga video. Over the past few weeks I’ve been neglecting cross-training a bit more than I should, so I’m trying to get back on track.

Chocolate Hostess Donuts, no question about it (though I wouldn’t turn down the others if offered to me).

Huge pita chips fan! I make my own pita chips by scratch and by roasting store-bought pitas! =D

Reply

I am going to have to try that, great idea! Great job doing yoga!!!!

Reply

I didn’t get to post on your cute pregnancy post, but I wanted to say congrats!!!! that was the cutest idea for an announcement picture! i have been reading your blog for quite sometime and am so excited to be reading during your pregnancy! i can’t wait for you to teach your child about the finer things in life like yogurtland, running, and candy!

you should see if costco sells stacy pita chips. we get a bag from sam’s club and it is huge and endless! much better than those small silly bags with 8 chips! oh and i definitely would pick the crumb donuts. i always feel like i’m getting more out of my donut when i get the crumb ones, i don’t know why!

Reply

I read all three Hunger Games books in about two weeks. They were so addicting and I loved them. I’ll be going to the movie probably a few weeks after it comes out because I don’t really love fighting crowds just to see a movie.
Went running this morning @ 7am on a 3 mile loop from my house around my parents’ house and back. It was about 20 degrees outside but it felt so good!
Powdered sugar donettes for sure. Yum!

Reply

I followed them!!!
I’m a HUGE hunger games fan!! The books were so amazing I can’t wait until te movie comes out!! :)

Reply

Oh man, what a disappointing bag of pita chips!! Glad you found some Donettes though!

Reply

Read the Hunger Games and loved it! Can’t wait to see the movie.

Planned on running today, but didn’t. 4 miles planned for tomorrow though. (Tapering for my FIRST half next weekend!)

I like the white powder donettes, but I’ll always choose Dunkin’ Donuts over any other kind!

Fan of pita chips, but not so much the plain ones. I need flavor!

Reply

You are going to rock your first half and I better hear all about it!

I am a bit obsessed with Hunger Games. I read it a few years ago before all of the books were even out, and I literally almost died waiting for the story line to finish. Not joking. I teach reading to middle schoolers. I am allowed to be this dramatic about books :) A bunch of teachers from my school will be at the midnight showing…of course I am included in that bunch!

I noticed that there is nail polish for each district…you better believe I will be tracking these babies down.

Easy two mile run today. Although my easy is apparently way easy compared to your easy.

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

* Read Hunger Games & LOVED IT!!!
* I don’t care for donuts. I know I’m weird :)
* I LOVE LOVE LOVE Stacy Pita Chips. The Cinnamon Sugar ones are my favorite!
* I had one of those stress relieving runs today. I had a friend pass away on Saturday & his wake is tomorrow. My run on Monday was slow as anything because of how much was on my mind, but today I ran faster than normal. I was running thru a lot of anger. It was one of those runs today when you finish and say, “WOW I really needed that!”

Reply

Laura, I am truly so sorry for your loss! I am so happy you had the perfect run for what you needed. Running is therapy and a great way to heal. Thinking about you and please email me anytime you need to ‘talk’!

Reply

I read The Hunger Games when it first came out and liked it. Haven’t read the other two (?) yet, though. Part of me almost doesn’t want to because of all the hype.

Reply

I read all 3 HG books and loved them. I call Katniss “Katnip”…don’t know why.

Powdered donuts remind me of when I was a kid. I would choose powdered donuts and a big glass of cold milk!

I ran about 10km with an Aussie running group this morning and had the best endorphin rush when I got home.

You were so fricken cute in your little video yesterday!!! I was smiling so big watching you hanging out in the grass with your choc milk!

Reply

I think I’m in the minority when I say I haven’t read Hunger Games- guess il just catch the film! And those pita chips look yum although the portion is pathetic!

Reply

Chocolate for sure on the donettes!

I did read The Hunger Games trilogy, and I can’t wait to see the movie (even though we all know it won’t hold a candle to the books).

Reply

Did you read the Hunger Games? Are you going to see the movie?
Haven’t yet, but I am dying to start! I have heard so many great things about this series! I plan on buying them on my nook next week and laying out by the pool reading all day on my spring break! Sounds amazing to me! I def want to see the movies. I know they always say read the books first…but I read “the help” first, then saw the movie, and I loved the movie but was a lil dissapointed because it wasn’t as good as the book. So I’m not sure what to do this time! haha

Did you run today? How was it? Where did you run?
Nope. I know this will hurt your heart to hear, but I ran my first 1/2 marathon back in October. I didn’t train properly. It about killed me but I accomplished my only goal of running THE WHOLE TIME. But, I have not run since. It was not a fun race and I have not had the urge to run again. Sad I know… I was never a big runner but would always go through phases of liking to run and not. Lately I have been going to workout classes @ 24 hr fit (all diff kinds!) and am LOVING THEM! :) But today was a “rest day” for me!

Which would you choose when it comes to Hostess Donettes? The chocolate ones, crumb or the white powdered ones?
Not really sure… that’s not really something I’ve ever craved. Which is good b/c I crave enough sweets! haha, which one is best? Lately I’ve been craving skittles (I love the purple berry flavor bag but usually only find those at 7-11…I groc. shop at super target and they have the yellow blenders bag that I usually get, and wow just realized how sad and pathetic that sounds haha) and chocolate cheerios… I am a weirdo I know… I go through phases with my food as well, ha!

Pita chips fan?
YES! Just started loving these! I love the garlic/parm cheese one’s and the cinnamon/sugar one’s are amazing as well! Sadly, the serving size is 7 or 8 pita chips :( Sad, because I sure could eat A LOT more than that! But I am loving both these flavors!!

Oh yeah, I am expecting you to respond to this since whenever I comment (which is sporadically) You have always responded :)

Reply

Oh I love this giveaway! I am following Yogurtland on Twitter. I read the Hunger Games series last year and looooved it. Can’t wait for the movie!!

I got a weird new injury (foot sprain?) and have also been super busy and haven’t run in 2.5 weeks :( I am currently thinking about going out for a little test run right now. We shall see.

Oh, and don’t hate me, but I am not really a Donettes fan. I think I would rather have cake or cookies or ice cream :)

p.s. CONGRATS ON BEING PREGNANT!!!!! I seriously got so excited when I saw your post the other morning, and that picture is so awesome and cute!! You are going to be so cute pregnant and an amazing mom!

Reply

Just a random side note that may or may not make you guys smile- when I was a kid, I pronounced donettes like “donettEEEES” goodnight:)

Reply

I want to see the movie but I have this weird thing about reading the book first so my friend is letting me borrow hers.

I’m still on “rest orders” from the dentist so no run today, & I would definitely get the chocolate ones.

You should try pita chips with hummus its amazing :)

I’m a big fan of electrotherapy- good stuff. I LOVE pita chips.. and I usually buy the huge bag and finish it in 3.5 seconds..

My husband and I are so excited to see The Hunger Games movie! I even got him to read the book, and he’s not really much of a reader.

I have never seen those calf electrode thingys before! My calves are always super tight and sore. Do you think they would help? Where do I get some?!

I just bought The Hunger Games Trilogy box set and have been sooo busy with everything that I haven’t had time to start it yet but this weekend it is on!
I like to have the powdered donettes and the chocolate ones with a huge glass of chocolate milk. Yum!
I think you can pretty much still eat whatever you want when burning that many calories.

I love the Hunger Games so much that I made Mike read the books so we can go to the movies together and he won’t ask me questions about the plot. I’m an awesome wife.

I agree with your mom, something is definitely wrong with you if you’re not craving candy. Maybe you’re pregnant. Oh wait… :)

Crumb donuts, fo’ sho’.
Obsessed with the Hunger Games! Great giveaway. I can’t wait for the movie to come out. Team Peta!

Love the Hunger Games series! I can’t wait to see the movie. I think the cast is spectacular! I got my husband and my son hooked on it too and they’ll be joining me for the movie opening weekend.
I had a sneaking suspicion that your love of candy would wane with your pregnancy. It’s so strange how your cravings change. I used to LOVE a great big rare steak. When I was about 3 months pregnant with our twins, my husband made the perfect rare steak for me and I took one bite and about hurled. I’ve not been able to enjoy a rare steak since.

Where can a person get those electro-paddles? I’m having issues right now, 6 weeks out from my very first 1/2 marathon….and I’m doing all I can to get rid of the pain.

My mom told me that when she was pregnant with me, she craved those little cherry and apple pie turnovers that are sold at convinience stores. She would buy five of them on Monday mornings and eat one a day at her desk during her coffee break. She never at them before or after her pregnancy, but going a day without one was just NOT going to happen.

I just have to say that I have an unnatural obsession with the Crumb Donettes! LOVE THEM. Glad to hear I’m not the only one!

Not so much a fan of pita chips as I just use it as an excuse to eat hummus. Mmmmm.

I did speed and hill intervals on my run yesterday. I was so tired when I was done. But I managed (barely) to get 15 min on the stair climber (aka the sweat climber!)

I love the crumb donettes, but also the old fashioned ones as well.

I read all the Hunger Games books – probably my favorite series – and I am so stoked to see the movies. I would love to win tickets, but I will be going to see the movie either way.

I DID read the Hunger Games and I have already told my MIL that we will be needing her to babysit so we can go see the movie!
Yesterday I ran 8 miles and today is speedwork! I don’t love speedwork, but it’s mile repeats and I don’t mind those.
