Silentish Saturday!

8 miles @ 8:12 pace.  Running in the sun >>>>>>>> any other type of running.

Beck loves being timed doing tasks and so I told him I would time him to see how long he could cuddle me.  Shockingly, he made it three minutes.

Goodbyes are hard.

To the airport with this girl.

Our airport tradition.

Read this while I waited for her plane to be gone for a bit.

The zoo for them.

The Sandlot has really inspired him.

Excited for trails!

Long run in the morning- my friend didn’t make it, so I got to catch up on Des and Kara’s podcast! Then relaxing and getting lunch with my boyfriend. And volunteering tonight at a birthday celebration for Mr. Trash Wheel- Baltimore is very unique with their trash wheels haha.

Brooke is looking more and more like a teenager!
I have just a quick short run, then I need to do some yardwork. Our oldest son’s car has been in the shop for the last few days, so figuring out how to make sure everyone gets to where they need to be has been a challenge, ha ha. I have been walking a lot. Thank goodness the drug store and a little market are close by.
The zoo, how fun. I haven’t been to a zoo in years!
Have a great weekend Janae!

Right?! I’m blinking at it is happening. Oh I bet that feels like quite the puzzle. I love that your market and drug store are close. Thanks Wendy, you too!

HRG! I have a question for you! I have been a brooks girl almost 15 years. I wear my adrenaline’s on my treadmill and revel 5s for gym training and road runs. I recently bought revel 6 and they changed cushioning and sizing was different. Returned them. I bought Hoka bondis and hated all the extra cushioning. Are the Clifton’s a bit lighter? I’m intrigued to try but don’t want the headache of returning yet again.

I got lunch with one of my best friends (she was in town for the weekend) and I introduced her to my 2 month old baby! I also went for my first outside walk/run in nearly a year – time to get back on the running wagon :)
