I’m really liking these before a run.

Breathing felt great, legs felt dead. I did 3 big workouts in 7 days (Saturday, Tuesday, Friday) but with early soccer games today, I had to do it yesterday.
3 mile w/u
3 x 5 miles w/1 mile easy
1-6:38, 38, 32, 34, 33 (6:35 average)
2-6:31, 32, 34, 31, 26 (6:31 average)
3-6:38, 37, 39, 40, 35 (6:38 average)
3 mile c/d
Ummm ending 23 miles with a 7:11 average at 7-11.
Sometimes you just need to grab pizza when you finish your run.
Knox makes errands so fun!

Rest Day for me today…
Driving my friend to airport unless her flight gets canceled again,
Party planning for Grand-daughter’s 30th B-Day on Wednesday,

Was supposed to get in a 10 mile run, but between not sleeping and weather that feels like 2 degrees, I didn’t make it out. Reminding myself to be kind, one missed run won’t ruin my training cycle!
Instead I slept in and had a slow morning. Going to lunch with my mom and boyfriend. And a friend’s wedding tonight!

23 miles!! Very impressive!
I am going to try to do my workout today that was planned for Wednesday. I should have lots of sun today which makes such a temp difference. I might be doing a lot of back and forth running on the path due to ice/slush patches.

Awesome job on the 23 miles! And I love when random “matching” things like that happen.
I woke up with a cold this morning…. Boooo. So I am going to be kind to myself and take a rest day. Which is kind of perfect timing. I started a new book, The Other Mothers by Katherine Faulkner, and it is so good! I’m thinking I’ll probably finish it today, ha.
