Just some things from the last few days (and I’ll post about Disney on Monday…. turns out Disneyland with kids makes us exhausted).
They have studied every inch of their Disneyland maps.
Hotels are heaven to them.
Their favorite part of the hotel was the phones.
I’m okay seeing palm trees and zero snow.
Andrew.
I found a gas station that had a Yogurtland inside so of course I had to try it. Utah gas stations need this ASAP.
The second they get to their great-grandma’s house they go straight to the toy room (after hugs).
FaceTiming Beretta.
A Christmas party.
Funfetti cake will always remind me of our wedding cake… and when Andrew got a bunch of it on my face:)
Thank you park for having two slides right by each other so there were zero arguments about who gets to go first.
This is from Andrew’s phone because he had his in his pocket during the entire Disney day—> that is a lot of steps.
My feet don’t care if I run that many steps but walking that many steps = swollen ankle.
I don’t know who is more tired…. me and Andrew or the kids.
It was a successful day.
My sister sent this one on over to me:

What are three things you have going on today?

I’ll be finishing up my holiday cards if it’s the last thing I do! I’m starting to think I shouldn’t send them anymore if I procrastinate so much addressing them.
Having dinner with friends tonight.
And definitely walking my dog at the park for an hour this afternoon. (He is watching me type this ;)

1. Baby kisses and snuggles this morning.
2. Swimming with the kids at the rec center. It’s super cool because they have a climbing wall over the deep end.
3. Cleaning or maybe a pedicure. Maybe both.
The Hungry Runner Girl
I hope you got to treat yourself with a pedicure:) Okay, that sounds like an awesome rec center pool! Baby kisses in the morning= the best!

Disney is always so much fun. My boyfriend and I used to go there all the time when we were working in California. Just as much to do for adults as children!

We went to Disney world in October with our son and it was magical and very exhausting at the same time. I know what you mean! Running, Christmas shopping and spending time with family today! week days have been crazy busy lately.

Today I am going grocery shopping, studying, and I have yoga teacher training later. Good reasons to stay inside on this snowy day ;) glad Disney was so fun!!

Oh Janae, I read through your post and then there was an ad for the Kate Spade surprise sale…and of course they had some cute stuff I’m interested in LOL. I cannot even imagine taking kids to Disney Land. I feel like it’s exhausting walking around an amusement park, let alone with children.

walking Disney is more killer than running, that’s for sure! glad you guys are having fun!

Hahahah that advent calendar graphic! I love it!
It sounds like you guys are making awesome memories at Disney :). Enjoy every minute!!!

Can’t wait to hear all about it! Today I will bake, watch Christmas movies with the kids and look at Christmas lights in a new neighborhood.

1. An easy 10k
2. Church basket delivery
3. Gingerbread house making

Walking is so much more brutal than running. For real.
The Hungry Runner Girl
Okay, I am so glad you agree! My ankle and feet were hurting big time after Disney… but running ten miles never causes that!?!
Corry
I have run half marathons and I have walked one (fast). Walking is DEFINITELY harder!

I remember when I was a kid and used to think hotels were the best thing in the world! Oh, to be a kid again!

I can only imagine how excited the kids are to be at Disneyland. I remember going as a kid and I was ecstatic the entire time.

Although it seemed a bit exhausting, it seems like it was an amazing family memory!!!! Your kids just radiated joy! And that last pic you posted that your sister sent- SO TRUE!!!!! LOVEEE!

Before today, the coldest temperature I had run in was 20 degrees. Well, this morning was a new kind of PR: 7 miles, all in temps below zero. Yeah! Aside from losing one of my Yaktrax, it was great. I am apparently stronger than I thought. :)
Mary
This is off subject but I know you wear moto leggings from roolee and I wanted to get some as they are on sale but how do they fit size wise? What do you wear if you don’t mind saying.
The Hungry Runner Girl
HEY MARY!! YES YES YES!! I love my moto leggings! I wear a medium and they fit perfectly! I think that they do fit pretty true to size though:) They also stretch a ton which is nice when needed! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!
TheDimpledRunner
Brooke is so into her map!! They are so cute holding hands! Three things: baking run fast eat slow muffins, film, clean/declutter the apartment while babysitting or cycle instead of cleaning hahaha! Thank goodness my place is small!!!!! ;p

I love love love that picture of Andrew in the tree, with the little ones running toward him. Sometimes the best part of being a parent is being a kid again. If that makes sense.
Nina
You did say you would walk 10 miles, that was pretty accurate.
Spin class, cleaning, shopping, and dinner out with my husband. (Mainly because I was too tired to cook after the running around).
Megan @ Lazy Runner Girl
OH my gosh, the Advent calendar thing is just too funny! Love it. The picture of the kids holding hands is too precious.
Taylor
Haha love the picture of the slides next to each other and your comment! so funny.
