Every year Brooke joins me for Global Running Day but this year she seems to have doubled in height since last year! Brooke rocked her .5 miles (she has a kids race at the end of the month). How can you not run happy when you have her smile and giggle next to you!
I have just a couple of things to share with you before we get to the GIVEAWAY!!!
Before my .5 mile with Brooke I went out on 8.1 miles of my own. I put on my playlist from my last race and jammed out to those tunes while I ran. Seventy degrees and my body is starting to acclimate. I was hot but it didn’t feel awful like it would have a month or so ago. Sunblock + my little water bottle I carry = summer running is going great so far.
I am really grateful all of the white stuff on the ground here isn’t snow… really grateful.
After Brooke’s run she had a friend over and Brooke wanted apples and peanut butter after to refuel her workout.
After that they all had a very intense game of Settlers going on.
For lunch we had sweet potatoes with turkey burgers!
