I love Brooks shoes but wore out my last pair of launches :-( now I got the new pair and they hurt my Achilles’ tendon when I run – so I’ve bought the ghost and glycerines and t still hurts ( I did the gait analysis by Brooks at an expo and those are all what they told me to run I ) just for the heck of it I’ve been running in my Nantucket GTS and no pain! So now I need to get a new pair because can’t trash my pretty Nantucket ones training for Chicago this fall :-)

Congratulations on your wedding!! Love Brooks running shoes – they make my feet so happy, and they are all I ever wear for running and I’ll be loyal to them until I can’t run anymore. True story. Although, after having a hacking cough for two plus weeks and telling my husband, “It’s nothing, I’m fine,” I finally gave in and went to Urgent Care yesterday mainly because I can’t run/walk/hike/walk my dog/any physical activity without a severe coughing fit. Turns out I have bronchitis which was bordering on walking pneumonia, with a double ear infection, and sinus infection. So no running for awhile as I recuperate. Or swimming. Or hiking. Mostly just laying around the house feeling super-restless. Boo. So catching up on your adventures is a nice distraction!
