I knew I was in trouble yesterday during Megan’s bootcamp when I thought the warm-up alone was going to kill me, she’s real good at what she does.

Brooke joined us at bootcamp and got some intense coloring in while we were doing all sorts of squats, jumps, planks, presses, push-ups… and the list goes on and on.

My youngest just turned 4 today and he’s still in that stage too. My daughters are 6 and 7 and already seem like “tweens” to me when I hear them chatting with each other. My sentence is Happy Birthday Drew :)

My almost 2-year old loves reading. Lately he has started saying “Max do it” or “Max read” and then he flips through the pages pretending to read. It’s adorable! He’ll point to pictures and say what he sees as if he’s reading it :)

-I’m reading In Defense of Food right now for my English class. It’s about our diet and why we need to change how we eat. It’s actually pretty interesting!
-I can’t even remember the last movie I’ve watched….I know, crazy right? The last TV show I watched was Modern Family, though! I love that show!

My son just turned 3 and I am LOVING the toddler years…baby/newborn time was VERY rough – toddler – loving the little personality! My son just started asking “why” with everything – I love it.

I don’t go to the theater since I am half-deaf – I live with captions ;-) Although, Nemo, Cars, Little Rascals, Mickey Mouse, and Baby Signing Time are staples in our house.

$1.50 movie theater?! I didn’t realize those still existed. I’m jealous!

Mmm fresh pineapple is the perfect snack no matter what time of the day. During my last half marathon their was an aid station at mile 11 giving out pineapple! Pretty sure that’s what helped me PR :)

I’m actually reading a book that my dad wrote 20 years ago. It’s called As Surely As Fire Will Burn and it’s kind of a coming of age book about a boy in Michigan… not bad except it’s weird when you read an intimate scene and know that your dad was the one who wrote it..

The last movie that I watched? My boyfriend wanted to have a Die Hard marathon so we watched the first 4 movies this past weekend.

My sentence for the day? “Working 50hrs this week while still trying to run at night is exhausting.”

I am reading “The Extra Mile”. So interesting and it so makes me never want to be an ultra runner!! Last movie we saw was “While We’re Young”. It was good & had a great message. Sentence for the day = grateful for a beautiful run this morning (w/ new running shoes).

Your daughter is adorable! My daughter is only a few days younger than yours and there’s no way I’d be able to attend a bootcamp class while she just sat there and colored. I’m constantly chasing her around. We broke our first candle in Target on Tuesday :-/ Last movie I watched: Fault in Our Stars, balled my eyes out. Sentence for the day: I woke up too early.

I’ve got tweens in my house!! Some days it’s drama x2. But mostly it’s pretty great seeing them become unique individuals. Not running, but you are kicking some butt on that bootcamp class! I lifted weights yesterday and I’m feeling it in every muscle today. ouch.

I’m reading a James Patterson book, something semi-thoughtless and fun. I can’t handle much more than that right now with my master’s classes.

My oldest is 11 and she’s in the sassy, I know everything stage :) Her younger brother is about the same, except he probably does know everything and my youngest is 7 and he pretty much sings his way through life.

Last movie I watched was Home with the kiddos.

The hubs is out of town, I’m still getting over a crazy cold, and my girl is sick so my sentence for the day is, “I’m going to attack this day.”

I just finished the book Eleanor and Park – I really enjoyed it. I am now reading (almost done) with the book The Six Wives of Henry VII (by Alison Weir), super long book but I have really liked. I read one of your recommendations, Tell the Wolves I’m Home – good recommendation! I really liked it.

I am not really reading anything right now, but I have a few books I want to start. The last movie I watched in theatres was Cinderella (on board the Disney Cruise ship!) so it was free! It was an okay movie, but there was nothing special about it………it was just a re-telling of the story we all know.

Since we came back from the cruise we have been all things Disney, so yesterday we had the day off together and watched Home on the Range, The Rescuers, and Pocahontas…………..tonight we are watching more Disney movies!

I LOVE PINEAPPLE. That is my sentence for the day! Fresh pineapple is the best!

I just finished ‘”Run to Overcome” great book def recommend.
One of my boys ( age 5) is currently in the” I want everything for myself, no sharing phase” makes for a lot of fighting with his older brother.
Last movie I watched was ” Unbroken”
I don’t have a sentence for the day yet… just looking at getting through the day with minimal sleep last night. :(

Ha ha ha… what stages are the kids currently in? My 15 year old just started reading a book for school and even though he’s a great reader, he hasn’t read a book in years. My 13 year old finds books loathsome. Kylah is 11 and she reads frigging 600 page adult novels. Katie (9) has learning disabilities and struggles in everything except…reading. She reads anything and everything, bless her heart. Ethan is 8 and reads all of the Geronimo Stilton and Captain Underpants books. Grammar is brutal, but it’s still great that he’s got a book in his hands. PHEW… that’s a lot of kids. You should REALLY see the pile of self-help books that I have in my bedside table!!!!!!!!!

My kids are at the “we’re out of food, can I have some money?, stop embarrassing me, Mom” stage. Yes. Teenagers.

Sadly, I’m not reading anything right now. Which is a tragedy!

Last movie I watched was Monkey Kingdom. Clearly, I need to get out more. But we’re thinking of going all nostalgic on the kids and taking them to see Avenger on Saturday night at the drive-in theater. We have to drive for about an hour to get there — but it’s all about the experience.

I am reading Boys on the Boat and so far its really good!

I ran a race with my 4.5 year old nephew last weekend and it was so much fun. We did the sprint/walk thing for the fist mile or so then just held hands and walked the rest. The race was longer than I thought so he was pretty tired but he managed to run it in over the finish then ask me for a piggy back ride for the 1.5 mile walk home. Love him!

My little sister is in that phase and she’s only two! It’s so annoying, I can’t help her do anything even though it would be a lot quicker if I just did it! I haven’t been to the movies in so long, which is very sad but the last movie I watched was The Wedding Ringer, it was so funny!!

You just reminded me how much I love pineapple and need to get it in my life once the weather warms up. I could easily eat a whole pineapple in one sitting.

I’m in the middle of 2 books right now. My Best Race which is so good! I usually read 1 or 2 when I have a few minutes at a time. The other book is Natchez Burning. It is really good too! It’s a much longer read at 874 pages and it is a serious book. My book choices are usually all over the place! And there are always so many books I want to read. I love having an ereader.

My daughter is 5 so we don’t read very long books and we read the same books over and over! She really likes the pigeon books by Mo Williams. Don’t let the Pigeon Drive the Bus is probably her favorite.

Last movie…I can’t remember but there a ton I want to go see. Age of Adeline, Insurgent, Avengers 2…

**My little guy is 5 and thinks he’s 15, as far as doing things himself. It’s also a super sweet “Mommy is so pretty” age so I am not complaining.

**Shooter, starring Mark Wahlberg. Today during my run.

**Tired is good. Tired means we got things accomplished. Man, I feel accomplished. (that’s 3… um… oh well, blame it on the tired.)

I just finished Still Alice, which was a beautiful, scary, wonderfully written, thought provoking read. I haven’t seen the movie but now I’d like to. I don’t have my next book lined up yet (the horror!), so everyone else’s comments are extremely helpful. I have so many books to look into now! Thanks!
