My Favorite Jewelry Giveaway and in other news…

I have a feeling I will be looking down at my left wrist about 30 times each mile during my marathon on Saturday.

I am a huge fan of Thought Blossoms so I am stoked to be able to do a giveaway.

I absolutely LOVE their customized active bracelets and runner ID.  The bracelet is super lightweight.  You barely feel it while you run and I love looking down at it and seeing my favorite mantra ever.   They offer a lot of different colors to choose from and you can have up to 15 characters on each line (2 lines) of whatever you want it to say!

And yes, we got matching bracelets.  J & B.  Brooke’s bracelet has a magnet instead of a clasp so it is super easy to put it on her.

Okay, just one more picture of them because I love them so much.

IMG 8790

Thought Blossoms has a huge assortment of incredible necklaces, bracelets and rings.  It is so fun to pick out exactly what you want each beautiful piece to say and making them personal to you.

Reply

Wow what incredible jewellery! I love the concept and think all the pieces are stunning! I have so many different running mantras that I use at different times, and it is so hard to pick just one favourite! I think I need to order about 50 different ‘Thought Blossoms’ pieces to get them all in! Probably my favourite is ‘You are stronger than you know’ or simply ‘You can do this!’ I love that running makes me a lot more aware of what I am saying to myself and forces me to speak more positively to myself if I am to achieve my goals. I definitely find that a negative mind makes for a negative run and that the more positive I am the better things go!

Reply

My motto: “Get up and DO it”………

Reply

My favorite month is October, because it’s FALL and it doesn’t hurt that it’s my birthday month, either (big 2-5 for me this year). Also, December.. because I loveeeeeee Christmas, and I’m getting married on 12/13/14 :-)!!

My favourite running quotes probably wouldn’t fit on the bracelet because they are verses: Isaiah 40:31- 31
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

And Phillipians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I love this Pre quote: “Don’t let fatigue make a coward of you.” Obviously too long to fit on a bracelet, but when the run gets tough I think of it until I overcome the fatigue. My favorite month is October (I love fall and Halloween and I spend the month indulging in spooky books). Today I had two breakfasts: peanut butter-banana smoothie right after my run, and three-ingredient pancakes (banana, egg, almond butter) after a shower and getting ready for the day.

Reply

October is my favorite month… so happy it is here! Would love one of these gorgeous pieces!

Reply

My favorite running mantra is ” you can do anything for (insert time left in run).” I heard a spectator say “you can do anything for 3 minutes!” Less than half a mile from the finish line of a tough race and I always think about it. Even at work or whatever the situation is….I can do anything!

Reply

My favorite mantra is “yes you can!” or “one more step!”

I also try to think of compliments from other runners or passerby. One day a sweet little old man on a bench told me I was “gliding on air” so some days I just think “Glide! Glide, darn it!”

Reply

I had greek yogurt with berries, oatmeal, and chocolate chips for breakfast!

Reply

My mantra for my full marathon is actually yours. I borrowed it from you when I had a terrible long run a few weeks ago. Your post of saying “I can do hard things” stuck with me. It got me through every training run after that. Before that run, it was Jillian Michaels “Unless you puke, faint or die keep going!”. That still helps me too. I had a banana and oatmeal for breakfast and October is my fave month. I love Fall for the colors, the smell, the leaves changing and for Halloween. I LOVE scary movies. It’s also perfect running weather here in Buffalo :)

There Is No Try”, but I would have to say I am in love with the the Under Armour campaign and one of the slogans from it is “Will Trumps Fate”. I may not have been born to be a fast runner, but if I work hard I can become a fast runner! If you have not seen this yet! You must watch!!

Reply
