About 1/2 way through my 8 mile treadmill run on Saturday morning my sis-in-law and niece called and I was able to run, FaceTime and take a screenshot all at the same time without flying off the belt. I have learned how to multitask after running 1 trillion miles on the treadmill over the last decade.
30 miles for the week= 60% of my normal training volume = nailing it with my tapering.
Yesterday was pretty much a hurricane (okay, I am being dramatic but it rained hard pretty much all day long) in Utah. My grandma and I were supposed to go to lunch but instead of going out I utilized the brilliant invention of the drive-thru and brought salads to her house to avoid the rain.
Brooke was thrilled because that meant she got to play with Mr. Blue the entire time.
Fast forward to 6 pm and I went with my sister (I think she didn’t want to be on the blog or something) and my niece to a conference for church.
And after that was done I got right into pajamas because I can only handle wearing a dress for .4 seconds. We ate leftover pizza and a sweet potato (weird combo, I know) for dinner.
Then it was off to visit Jess (she had surgery on her meniscus last Tuesday) and eat her cookies. I am not even exaggerating—> These White Chocolate Pumpkin Snickerdoodles NEED to be the next thing that you make.
Brooke found the necklaces.
Last night I had to turn on my seat heaters in the car because I was so cold. And it begins. Time to install my hot chocolate machine.
Virtual high five to everyone out there:)
Is it starting to get cold where you are at yet? What are the temps like?
When was the last time you ran on the treadmill?
Best thing you have eaten this weekend?
