Just some things that I have been meaning to tell you about.

-I did not stage this picture.  Brooke grabbed the garmin, put it on her wrist and started pushing buttons to try and locate the satellites.  Watch out world.

-Dinner last night was at the Red Iguana in SLC… if you are ever in the area you must go there.  Best chips/salsa/tacos.

I definitely don’t eat 300 cookies a year. But if there was a stat for ice cream or pizza, I’m sure I’m well above average.

I feel like RANDOM is a lot of pressure! I am wearing my boots today even though I had mentally decided that the first day of spring would be the last day of boots-wearing. *sigh*. Also, I posted about the pudding that has been allowing me to make it through my weeks. Feeling burned out! (but maybe it is the pudding that is making me feel burned out and I need to be doing more of the salmon thing you put up here the other day). OK ramble over!

The Fruit Smoothie chews are my favorite too. The Orange Blossom are my second favorite :) It’s like eating delicious candy on the run!

Dang that is a lot of emails! When my inbox gets over 10 I start feeling overwhelmed and ignore it, thus making the problem worse <—whoops.

I am so obsessed with Brooke’s wardrobe, especially her headbands! I need the adult version of them! Random thing: I somehow managed to forget to have breakfast this morning and now I’m starving at work :/

Hmm, I’m not sure I eat 300 cookies a year. I do probably eat about 30-40 gallons of ice cream a year though. :-)

I spent over 700 dollars at the dollar tree last month. There is something seriously wrong with me….no one needs that much soap and toothpaste!

Okay I can’t not comment on brooke’s anchor shirt/dress! It’s so cute! As for the cookies… I feel like I eat far more sugar than the average person, but cookies somehow don’t make it into my mouth very often. I’m more about the ice cream and milkshakes. They’re easier than cooking a cookie. I don’t know if I could survive a 19 hour flight. I’d probably start running up and down the aisles!

My family is probably the only family in the history of ever who is taking an amusement park vacay to Orlando and has no interest in Disney parks. We are going for the Harry Potter World experience.

There’s no way I eat 300 cookies in a year, but I am definitely not the average American. :)

I’m going to the gym to swim laps today for the first time in many months. I guess the good thing about being injured and not running is that it’s forcing me to train for my triathlon. Who knows when I would have started swimming if it weren’t for this! :)

I feel like I could have written this post from the donut headband to the massive amount of whip cream on the sundae. We are basically twins. Something random about me…well you know I love donuts and whip cream…since we are on the sugar topic my favorite dessert is bread pudding or red velvet cake.

I love that headband!! Probably a little more lately since I’ve been craving donuts a lot lately haha. And seriously, a sundae with a MOUNTAIN of whipped cream, is beyond the best!! I’ve been craving whipped cream a lot lately too, is that normal to crave whipped cream?

19 hour flight?! Count me out! I could hardly handle the 2.5 hour flight last weekend, haha. I am definitely going to say I enjoy my fair share of cookies, but not positive it would reach the 300 number. Maybe, though, since I can take them down like a champ! That car cup holder is pure genius!! Like, I need that!

ooh, thanks for the running chews recommend! I’m trying to decide what fuel to get for my first half-marathon and the honey stinger’s will be strongly considered. 300 cookies for the average american? I’d like to know how high that number is for the average runner ;)

Heated/Cold cup holders!? That is genius! Oh girl, I don’t know how you handle 308 emails sitting in your inbox! I have to try to have my inbox cleared out at the end of each day no matter how late I have to stay up getting it done!

I just choked on nothing. Sitting on the bus reading your blog and next thing I know I can’t catch my breath and stop this wild coughing fit.

I desperately rummaged thru my purse for a cough drop but only found empty wrappers.

Heated or chilled cupholders?!?! I’ve never seen something so cool! Luxury at it’s finest. I thought I was doing pretty good just having automatic windows! ;)

I know for a fact that I eat more than 300 cookies a year. I mean, I couldn’t tell you the last time I ate less than ten cookies in one sitting!

My running coach swears by the honey stingerz, she says they are the only fuel that doesn’t upset her tummy. They are really delicious, but I still do better with gels I think, just because it’s easier and quicker and sometimes I’m just not in the mood to chew, lol.

There are so many great things in this post!!!! Donuts, ice cream sundae, etc. I wish I lived anywhere close to the Red Iguana because salsa, chips, and tacos are my favorite. I live on the East Coast though, a little far away.

I’m really glad someone else told me what that symbol was because I had no clue what #308 was for. And holy emails Batman. Yikes. No one ever emails me. Even at work. and I LIKE it that way. hahahahaha

I’ve told you this before but one of my best friends is in Thailand for a year. Have the best time ever, what an incredible experience for you. I’m jealous.

Oh…and I easily top 300. I average two a day but if the package is good…I’ll eat it. No shame.

For all the people who don’t eat that many cookies, no worries, I am the one who raises the average to make it 300 for you. I ate 6 cookies yesterday. Yep. 6. So if anyone needs someone to walk around after them and slap food out their hands, ummmm ya, it’s me.

Where did you get Brooke’s adorable outfit? And do they make it in baby sizes? Cause my unborn child needs that outfit. She told me so.

I can’t believe you went to red iguana and didn’t get the mole. That is what they specialize in and they are so delicious. Mole is one of ross’ most favorite dishes from Mexico.

My husband has eaten at the Red Iguana..he says you should try the mole’. I’m not a mole’ fan, so your meal of taco and nacho meal sounds much better! :)

I’ve lived in Utah for four years and still haven’t gone to Red Iguana! I’ve heard so many amazing things about it. Should probably change that in the next week before I move.

Brooke is way too cute with the Garmin! They absorb so many random things that you don’t even give a second thought to!

I’m currently reading The Gifts of Imperfection too and love it so far! Very thought provoking.

Will have to try the Honey Stinger chews….I’m experimenting with fueling since I’m a newbie, and don’t feel I’ve found the right fuel for me just yet.

I went to turn on my table lamp this morning since I wake up when it’s still pitch black outside, and approximately .5 seconds after I flipped the switch, the lightbulb burnt out and made a loud popping noise. Seriously scared the life out of me. I think I’m still recovering 3 hours later…

That video is amazing! Im actually headed to Kenya in just under 3 weeks to do volunteer work for 2 months and am looking at training while there! I am doing my first 10km a months after returning :)

Random fact: I tried my first GU today. It was strawberry banana and it was kind of messy but pretty good. I definitely felt the difference afterwards, though, which was nice because today is extremely windy and I needed something to power me through the last few miles.

I’m pretty sure I surpass the whole 300 cookies a year thing. I really have no excuse other than the fact that I have the biggest sweet tooth ever. ;)

I’m feeling super burned out this week and last! I need some running motivation. I raced a 10K this past weekend and was super happy with my time/splits on my way to two half marathons in May and June. But since then (and even the week leading up to my race) I have had no energy/motivation to get out and train! Help! Who has experienced this before?

I read an article about your brain on sugar right before I looked at your blog today. Basically, sugar is addictive! :) I know, right? And by the way, cookies are my all time fav sweet treat. I don’t know about that number but I probably eat more.

Caramel is DEF > fudge!

The stinger ones that are pink lemonade flavor are AMAZING! I got them to have during the birth of my little one, and it helped so much to keep me going.

I am reading Brene Brown’s newest book, “Daring Greatly”. I highly recommend it. It is based on the speech by Theodore Roosevelt, Man in the Arena.

Something random: I seem to break headphones pretty easily (working in a research lab they sometimes fall into liquid and die) but the pair I currently have were only like $5 from Victoria Secret because they were on clearance and I needed a few dollars more for free shipping and they are orange and have lasted longer than most pairs I have had. I’m calling that a win.

just started reading ‘the gifts of imperfections’ too! super good and i identify with a good chunk of it (not sure if you cry at least once every other page but i sure do!) i’m on a 50 day challenge i put on with some people and it includes detoxing my sugar addiction so basically i’m living vicariously through your goodies!
