The perfect stocking stuffers for RUNNERS giveaway!

The plus and minus of not getting up when my alarm clock goes off in the morning:

Minus—>  I absolutely love getting my workout done first thing in the morning and finished before I even really realize what I am doing.  With each minute of the day that goes by I get lazier and lazier and less likely to work out.

Plus—–>  I got to run side by side on treadmills at the gym with my sister and talk the entire 8 miles.  I wish you guys got to know her in real life because you would then understand why I go on and on and on about how awesome she is.

The reason it looks like I haven’t seen the light of day for months is because I don’t think I have actually been outside in the daylight longer than running from my car to the gym in months.

Stretching and talking to my brother on the phone at the same time… multi-tasking at its finest.  She really loves it when I take pictures of her without her even knowing.

IMG 5186

I love adding spinach to my soup as it is cooking to get some move veggies in.  I also really love dipping my Wheat Thins into my soup to get some more carbs and deliciousness in.

Brooke is so cute! And always so stylist. I could definitely have used that Brookes running gear this week. Texas has been iced over since Thursday! Makes for cold running, especially for this Texan.

Reply

So I just love ready your blog….I’m a huge fan. I’m definitely with you when it comes to getting up in the morning. What a difference the day makes when you know you’re workout is completed before most of the world wakes up. Since I have raynauds syndrome it’s often hard for me to run outside due to losing all feeling in my fingers. I’ve heard great things about the Brooks gloves and would love to give them a try :)

Reply

It’s a West Virginia winter and I would love some more cold gear! I moved when I got married and there isn’t a gym with treadmills.

I used to be a LifeFitness treadmill snob and would not run on any other brand of treadmill. Then, I moved to a small town where no gyms had LifeFitness treadmills so I got over my snobbery quickly.

Reply

This stuff would come in handy as the weather has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Its only supposed to be in the teens this Thursday, hopefully Friday is warmer as my sons and I are running a “Black Cat” 5K for Friday the 13th. They have ladder at the finish that you have to run under, my 7 year old is super excited.

Reply

I miserably gave up today and ran on the treadmill at work. I run outdoors year round, but asthma prevents me running in less than 20 degree weather. I hope we hit 20 by noon, when I run, ASAP.

Reply

You look so pretty! You are totally my running idol!

Reply

I would love either the arm warmers or the mittens!!! I have raynauds disease in my fingers and toes and when the temperature gets slightly cold… my fingers go absolutley white with zero circulation!! So numb and I can barley start/stop my watch!! I would love some good warm mittens/gloves!! :)

I live in Michigan and right now it’s 19, feels like 4 degrees. I’m a big whimp so I do most of my runs on the treadmill, but I do brave the cold once a week! Would love some new running gear!

Reply

We have the exact same treadmills at my gym. I love them! I live in Canada and am training for my first marathon in the spring… those beautiful Brooks accessories would definitely come in handy :)

Reply

Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal

Reply

That headband would perfectly match my Brooks Utopia jacket :)

Reply

I also love running in the morning, but I hate running in the cold! Brooke looks adorable in those gloves! :)

Reply

That statement couldn’t be more accurate. “You know your a runner if…”

I am dealing with a snow storm on top of another. I’m stuck on the treadmill this week! Well, that is until I get over being sick from running in the snow on Sunday!!!

Reply

I love Brooks apparel, shoes, gloves, headbands, etc!

Reply

What a relief to have the Brooks/Brooke mystery solved! I love to run outside in the winter because it makes my house seem warmer inside when I return. Trying to keep that thermostat down low to save $$. Makes a me want to run at least twice a day! That new gear would be put to good use!

Reply

I need all that cold running gear because the temperature currently feels like 4 degrees!

And I always check the weather at least 10 days out to see the potential of running outdoors :-)

Reply

I feel the same way about my sister – and I’d give anything to live near her!

Just got done with work. Currently at the gym, on the treadmill, about to read Women’s Health mag. :) It’s like 7 degrees outside right now, so the fact I made it to the gym instead of heading home to watch Friday Night Lights on Netflix…HUGE accomplishment. Haha ;)
