Brooke was little confused as to why we were waking HER up on Saturday morning instead of her waking us up. I just had to share with you her awesome morning hair. It is actually impossible to not smile when I see this hair no matter how early it is in the morning.
After the race yesterday I am very proud of myself because I really took a good amount of time to stretch, foam roll and do everything possible to prevent me from being crazy sore and it WORKED. The only thing that is sore is my upper back…. for some reason trails/hills make it sore?!? I must hold it tighter or something?
You know what is the best when you are tired? When a friend invites you over for dinner and you walk in and see this just hanging out on their table.
We had bbq chicken sandwiches, brussels, potatoes and a salad. It was perfect.
After dinner and dessert we literally hung out at the table for 3 hours. We were going to play a game or something but there was simply too many important issues to discuss.
I brought over some blondies (I learned my mistake, brownies are and always will be better than blondies) and ice cream.
Don’t act like you don’t plan out your Sunday morning breakfasts weeks in advance too. I can’t decide if I love banana and chocolate chip pancakes more or waffles with strawberries more…. I guess next Sunday I will just have to do a side by side comparison.
