Today’s post is sponsored by Athleta, and they are currently offering 50% off top gifts until 12/12! It’s your last chance to get some amazing gifts in time for the holidays. If you order by 12/19, you can get free shipping by 12/24!
We are just days away from Christmas! Our family is celebrating even sooner because Brooke and Knox will be gone on Christmas Day. It used to really bother me to celebrate holidays on the wrong days, but between our blended family and Andrew’s line of work, I feel like we are celebrating on a different day more often than the actual holiday. My heart will always ache a bit when we aren’t together on the actual day, but it has gotten much better because I can fully fool myself into thinking whatever day we are celebrating is the correct day;)
Okay, wow, that was a tangent. Let’s get back on track to showing you items that you or somebody you love will adore. The gift of being comfortable and cozy is priceless IMO, and to get these pieces at such amazing prices and delivered on time needs to be shared!
Everything I’m linking to in this post is 50% until 12/12!
The Easy Fleece 1/2 Zip Hoodie. I went with the grey heather so that I can wear my assortment of beanies with this one, but this hoodie comes in many other fun colors. It is extremely soft, perfect for layering, and I love where it hits at the top of the hips. 50% off for a hoodie that I will wear forever? Yes, please.

The Ultra High Rise Elation 7/8 Tight. The ratings all agree with me: These leggings are phenomenal and feel like a second skin. They are perfect on the run and stay right in place the whole time. The colors are so good, and they wash like a dream.

The Cloud Fleece Sweatshirt. The first day I wore it on errands, five different women asked me where I purchased it. If you enjoy being wrapped in a warm blanket all day, this is the piece you need in your closet. I’m going to grab it in black today, and it also comes in brown and navy.

Yep, I’ve never owned a softer sweatshirt in my life than this one.

The Altitude Fleece Lined Stash High Rise Legging. I’ve gone on and on about these leggings, but I must tell you one more time because they will make your winter training so much more comfortable. To get fleece lining, perfect pockets, and a thick waistband that stays in place all in one legging is like hitting the jackpot.

The Cozy Karma Twist Neck Sweatshirt is another top that is making my winter so much more enjoyable. I love this sweatshirt’s longer length and the neck’s uniqueness! It is very soft, and I swear, Athleta gear feels just as good the first time you wear it as they do after 100 washings.

Because pockets are a need, not a want.

Here are a few more items that are part up to 50% off that I love: The Ranier High Rise Legging, Easy Fleece Jogger, Easy Fleece Straight Leg Cargo, Cozy Hour Beanie, Easy Fleece Crew Sweatshirt, Transcend 1/2 Zip, Cozy Karma 1/2 Zip Dress, and Altitude Fleece Lined 1/2 Zip Sweatshirt!
I hope you can enjoy these next few weeks. Remember, if you ever need someone to talk to, I’m your woman. I’m an email away!

I wish I’d seen this post a few weeks ago to tell my family all the things I’d like for Christmas 🙂
Holidays are primarily on THE day but I like spreading it out too b/c it makes the fun last longer.
My kids aren’t super early birds so Christmas is at like 9 am.
Rest/ Active day? Depends on what we’re up to but I’ve run a few times on Christmas.
Cozy meals- French toast / frittata/ egg casseroles…
There is still time for returns and new shopping lists;). I’m with you… the more I can spread out the holiday, the better! And 9 am sounds perfect! I need some french toast for breakfast now!
Growing up with divorced parents, my holidays were always on odd days depending on who I was with. It prepared me for being married to someone who directs and plays music at a church, because he is often gone on Christmas Eve night and early Christmas morning, so we celebrate before and after he is done with his services. Christmas is definitely a rest day for me- too much good food to feel comfortable on a run! 😉 My Christmas breakfast is always cinnamon rolls, but for other cozy breakfast meals, I tend to go for an egg/hashbrown casserole with sausage and veggies with lots of fruit on the side.

That really did prepare you for your life now! You and your husband sound amazing! Such a good point, my sister and I once tried to run after all of the cinnamon rolls and it hurt. Off to find an egg/hashbrown casserole. Thanks Emily, have a beautiful day!
I’m a nurse as well, so i understand working holidays, thankfully I have Christmas off this year! I always make The Pioneer Woman’s Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole for Christmas. It is always a hit!

Thank you for what you do. Nurses are my favorite people. Bookmarking that recipe now! Thank you, Lindsey!
Can you make a baking post? Lol would love your cinnamon roll recipe and the rolls you made for Skye’s bday dinner! And any other baking recipes 🙂

I totally will! That is a great idea! For now, I’ll tell you that the rolls are rhodes rolls that we had on Sunday and here is our cinnamon roll recipe from Brooke’s grandma:
Have the best day!
Yes, fool yourself into thinking that whatever day you are celebrating is the correct day!!!
I would say we kind of have always spread the holidays out on different days–mostly due to my ex working a rotating shift and when extended family is in town. I have always (and will always) have my kids on Christmas. Honestly, it’s almost harder not having them on the days/weekends leading up to Christmas. The entire holiday season and switching houses is hard. My oldest and mine favorite day is December 23rd–so it might be harder if I don’t the kids on that day, haha.I got in 8 miles this morning. The rest of the week is below zero so I enjoyed the balmy 8 degrees this morning;-)
We usually do cinnamon rolls as well. My mom always does some type of egg bake. This year the kids want do a hot chocolate bar–marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, etc. I might do a variety of bagels/cream cheese and fruit platter. Minimal effort, haha.
Have a terrific Tuesday, Janae!

I fool myself into so many different things! I am so happy you will always have them on Christmas!! But I totally understand, it’s so hard leading up when they are gone. I was counting how many days before Christmas that we have Knox and it made me want to cry. I hope you have them on the 23rd!! Way to get in those miles in 8 degrees. I can never complain knowing what you run in. What do you even wear in that? Hot chocolate bar is brilliant along with the bagels and fruit… I probably will be copying you. Thank you, Becky! Stay warm this week!
When in is 0-10 degrees, it’s not so bad. Fleece lined leggings. For shirts–tank top, fleece lined/thicker long sleeved shirt and a warm running jacket, thick mittens, headband, buff neck wear, face mask and hat…for 0 to -30 (I don’t think I would run in any weather colder than this), add a looser pant over the leggings and add another long sleeved top and make sure no skin is exposed on the face besides the eyes, which can make it hard to breathe, haha. It takes forever to get dressed!
I love all these clothing choices!! You always have the best recommendations!!

When you spend as much time as I do shopping online, this means a lot;). Thanks Molly! I hope you have the best day!
Our families are so spread out that it’s not unusual for us to celebrate on different days (can’t be in Tennessee and California on the same day!) We even did this as kids with one of my uncles who lived in Reno – after the first snow fall it was really hard to him to get to us.
We tend to sleep in on Christmas if we’re at home and it’s usually a rest day – but I love a good New Year’s Day run!
My mom use to make chocolate rolls – think cinnamon rolls but replace cinnamon with cocoa powder. I usually make French toast or waffles. Hash brown casserole if I’m feeling motivated!
In addition to cinnamon rolls, I like to make a breakfast casserole. Layered with crescent rolls, sausage, eggs and lots of cheese. It’s so so good and then enjoy the cinnamon rolls.
wake up at stupid o’clock because my 30 somthing kids insist on it, rip everything else…and then go for a Christmas Day run….it’s my tradition,,,new year’s day is even more important (it’s my bday) …it’s always a good way to start a new year…

welcome!
