The bad news and the GOOD news (A GIVEAWAY) [CLOSED]

First, the bad news…let’s just get that out of the way.

I won’t be going down to race tomorrow at the St. George 1/2 marathon.  Long story short, some family stuff came up and we won’t be able to make it down.  Luckily we are going to St. George for some running and sunshine on February 25th for DOGTOWN and so I will get my endorphins/race loving/vitamin D in later this month.

Onto the good news: I have washed my bangs since this picture.  Okay, that isn’t the only good news because it isn’t true.  The good new is that you have a chance to win a box of Chobani’s 3 NEWEST/MOST DELiCIOUS flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Passion Fruit and Blood Orange.

Since I am really smart, I accidentally cut through one of the yogurts as I was attacking the box like a 4 year old opening presents on Christmas morning.  Looks like I just had to try the Apple Cinnamon fast so that it didn’t go bad because it was now opened.

No exaggeration (because I never do that anyway) this is the best yogurt I have ever had and I have already marked my name on all of them and written with bold letters, “DO NOT EAT.”   Wow, I am really easy to live with.

I have just recently discovered a LOVE for chobani! As it turns out, it IS as good as people say it is.

I love it just the way it is. My favorite way to eat Chobani, is by myself, in my pantry- that way Annie doesn’t see me and beg for bites. I DON’T WANT TO SHARE!!!!

I usually eat it plain if it is flavored, and if it’s not, I use it in a smoothie or I’ll substitute it for sour cream, butter, etc. :)

I LOVE yogurt topped with sliced apple, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and almonds. If it’s greek yogurt with no sweetness, i drizzle a little honey as well. Yummy!

Favorite way to eat CHOBANI because it’s the best!:) is plain nonfat + a little splenda + frozen blueberries + banana slices + crunchy cereal + lots of peanut butter! but if i’m not eating it that way- THE APPLE CINNAMON IS SO AMAZING!

For flavored Chobani yogurt, I eat it plain or sometimes with some granola/fiber cereal on top. For plain flavor, I use it like a healthy version of sour cream to top chili, in dips, etc.

I like to eat my yogurt with various toppings depending on the flavor!

plain = I use it for savory dishes like tacos or falafel (mixed with dill + lemon juice)
fruity = I mix it with a fruit that complements it like a strawberry yogurt + banana slices or blueberry yogurt + fresh raspberries

and for the cherry flavor = CHOCOLATE CHIPS! shredded coconut and hazelnuts :) so decadent, so delish.

Depends on the season/time of day… in the summer I like to stir it up, pop it in the freezer and eat it like ice cream. In the winter I think it’s best mixed with plain oats and a handful of almonds. Any time of the year, the first scoop has to be taken with my multi-vitamin… because I can’t swallow pills properly!

I love eating yogurt plain if I’m in a rush out of the door, in the morning, or for a quick snack. I also love eating yogurt with fruit mixed in or granola. Basically I’m a huge fan anyway. I would love to try these new flavors! :)

I eat yogurt every morning. The best way is (any flavor) greek yogurt, fiber one cereal, fruit and a hefty scoop of CRUNCHY peanut butter. Holy yummmm!!!

To be honest, I have never been a huge fan of yogurt. I don’t have a problem getting in my necessary dairy, and in high school I had to eat yogurt every day to prevent recurring yeast infections, so since then I’ve avoided it.
However, since I started running and needed some different options to fuel my body, I bought a few Chobani flavors…and I was so surprised at how much I loved them! Creamy and sweet, but not too sweet. I’ve been watching all my local stores for sales.
So far I’ve only eaten them alone (I don’t like tomix my fruit flavors), but I just bought some vanilla flavor to experiment with.

When it comes to Greek yogurt I don’t discriminate. I eat it plain, with fruit, honey, cereal, nuts…. I love the stuff. That apple-cinnamon flavor is seriously good. I havent seen the other new flavors yet. Thanks, Janae and Chobani!

OMG! Yogurt! I just loooove loooove yogurt! My favorite ways to eating them are:
1. Plain. (Simple is the best baby!)
2. Plain yogurt mixed with some Indian style pickle water.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_pickle). Makes it spicy but also has this calming coldness about it! Yummy!
3. Plain yogurt with some chopped tomato, chopped onions, chili peppers, cilantro, salt, pepper and cumin powder. Its like a salad but with yogurt. DELISH!

I eat yogurt every day either with a banana or some other type of fruit. Recently though we did put it in a smoothie. I am used to smoothies with ice cream (otherwise known as milkshakes…) so it was good, just not as good as ice cream!

It’s actually really funny, my family always made fun of me because my favorite way to eat Greek yogurt is mixed with chopped apples and a lot of cinnamon! For some reason they thought that was weird, now I can shove it in all of their faces since it’s a legit flavor.

I love eating yogurt right out of the cup… but I also love it with some slivered almonds or chopped walnuts mixed in it. I use yogurt as a topping for pancakes/crepes/waffles, too.

In cooking, I use plain yogurt as a substitute for mayonnaise and for sour cream. It’s great for things like chicken or tuna salad! There’s also a great recipe for lemon ricotta pancakes, which requires either sour cream or plain yogurt. Delicioso!

I usually eat flavoured yogurt plain, sometimes with a sprinkle of cinnamon, and I usually eat plain yogurt with stevia+cinnamon+blue/blackberries+sliced almonds. Occassionally, if I’m feeling lazy, I will just grab a big spoon and grab a huge spoonful of plain yogurt and just eat it plain straight from the spoon

I LOVE to have yogurt with fruit. I also like to dip peanut butter and jelly on a bagel into my yogurt, then I get a combination of carbs, peanut butter, and yogurt! YUMMM! :D
