Our weekend!

Friday’s plan called for 14 miles without a workout involved, which was a good thing because our legs weren’t up for speed after the big trail we did the day before.

We had a Chipotle picnic after school because they all came home starving, and it was Friday, so why not?!

Saturday morning involved a lot of juggling. Everyone had games around the same time in very different directions, and they were extremely early. Brooke, Andrew, Brooke’s dad, and a few teammates all left together at 5:45 am for a game two hours away. Skye and I left the house at 6:45 for her game that was 45 minutes away. And then it took a village to get the boys around!

I went on a walk during her warm-ups around the field. (softest long-sleeve and leggings)

Skye scored with a crazy kick with the outside of her foot, and I’m still impressed.

We then made it to Knox’s game to see him play his entire game without any substitutions… Look at his kick!

It was a wild ride, but somehow it all worked out.

We then got to go to the BYU vs. Arizona game, and BYU won!

Necessary.

It was 90°F for the game, so we went to the shade for halftime.

I flopped on the couch when we got home and took an insane nap, but I did catch some gorgeous clouds from the sunset later on.

We drove into the mountains on Sunday…

I could have stayed up there all day!

And then the Brookie came home a bit later from time with her dad.

I saw this recipe for a steak salad, and it was love at first sight, so that is what we had for Sunday night dinner.

PS The MADE BY MARY Birthstone Baguette Collection is stunning. They sent me the Birthstone Charm and Birthstone Baguette Stacking Ring. I’m in love, and so is Brooke. I have this code for one more day: JANAE15 gives you 15% off at Made By Mary!
