It was the last day of cross-country, so I timed the kids for the mile (so much improvement!) and had a party… I loved seeing Brooke in-stride with her running bff.
Rolling out before another day of soccer tryouts again.

Feels good to be putting rooms back together again!

Don’t you find renovations too disruptive and stressful with young kids? I can’t remember what your floors were like before so obviously they were not falling apart.

They have been a little stressful but really not bad at all:). Our last floors were dark and showed every spec of dust and with four kids and a dog, we needed something that hid the mess a bit ha. Hope your day is a beautiful one!

At first I was curious how fast Brooke ran the mile. Then I realized she was wearing jean shorts to run in. No time can impress me more than running in jean shorts!
I need to try Tracksmith! Is the fit usually consistent for them? Oiselle sizing began to be so irregular for me that I gave up on them.
And put me down for the lemon blueberry combo, too!

Hahaha and she wasn’t in running shoes… she wanted to hold back for all of the tryouts this week (THREE). Oiselle was so inconsistent for me in their shorts! They are consistent in everything but their loose shorts (non-tights). Those I need to size down in because they run big but everything else is right on. Still needing your chicken parmesan in my life. Happy Wednesday, Molly!

Both of my kids were walking around 9-10 months and figured out how to get out the crib at the same time. Needless to say, mattress went on the floor and baby gate in the doorway at night.
Love the pic sitting on the porch listening to and watching the storms!!

They were early walkers! Hahah you had it all figured out on how to keep them in. It was the best part of the day… I forget how the simplest things make me the happiest. Have a wonderful day, Susan!

All your runs looks so lush and gorgeous right now!
Neither of my kids were really escape artists but my older son had to switch at 2.5 because my younger son stole his spot. Ha!
I don’t put my clothes out (unless it is a marathon) but you always have way nicer outfits than my “I found this in the dark” looks.
My sentence for today is 4 Day Weekend Finish Line! Life is going just fine right now, but for some reason I’ve been kind of down this week and really looking forward to the weekend with the kids/husband.
My random question for you, any thoughts on the Peleton rebrand? I don’t have a bike, but I use the app a lot for speedworkouts (just listen to the tread ones outside) and I’m excited there will be more outdoor content/content for all for all ages. I’ve been trying to get my mom to use it for her walks and strength. The tiers are confusing though.
Flavors- Targon and Goat cheese (on salad or in this chicken: http://www.nikchick.com/recipes/chicken_chevre.html)

Utah is so so gorgeous right now! Hahah the younger one took his spot:) I maybe spend a little too much time on my running outfits;). I am really sorry that you have had a down week and I really hope this weekend perks you back up again. Being a human is a wild ride. Okay, I don’t know anything about the rebranding. I need to look this up but I’m worried I won’t like it because I loved it just the way it is. I love that your mom has been using it. Off to look at that recipe. I love goat cheese so much. Have a beautiful day, Arianna!

I love blueberry and lemon together too! It’s so refreshing and yummy.
Is there a lot of flooding in your area? Up north (Mammoth and Tahoe) officials are very worried about the snow melt and flooding this year. But that river is amazing!
I love listening to thunderstorms too. That’s something we don’t really get out here. Skye and her chicken, so sweet.
Hope your speed workout is fantastic. Have a great day

It really is the best combo and if you find any recipes with them, send them my way! Oh no… I hope that they are able to control the water. So far in our area we haven’t had any but up north there has been a lot. Such a crazy year so far. Thank you, Wendy! Hope your day is off to a beautiful start!

You are so so close! How many more days of school??

I definitely set my clothes out the night before. Not so much for motivation, but just so I can get up and get out. I wake up to run between 4a and 4:30a (have to get it done before the kids get up) so my mind is definitely not ready to think about what to wear yet!
My older son (Skye’s age) used the crib until he was 3 and a half. My little guy is now just over 3 and I plan on keeping him in his “baby cage” for as long as possible :)

Oooh thunderstorm watching on the porch is so peaceful!! My flavor combo for springtime is strawberry-rhubarb – my mom makes me strawberry-rhubarb crisp for my birthday (sort of like apple crisp!) so we had some just last week. It’s the best!
Kiddo 1 was in the crib until his sister came along when he turned 2. Kiddo 2 was in the crib until she was 3.5ish since she did so well sleeping in it. Hoping Baby 3 doesn’t decide to learn how to climb out – I like the crib rather than the gate on the door.. too much free-reign of the bedroom!
I’ve been sleeping too much for early workouts lately – week 32 of pregnancy problem, perhaps. Lunch run-walks, or evening gardening/yardwork are my current daily workout! Normally I stash a variety of running clothes in our little workout space, so I have something to grab in the mornings.
Have a beautiful day!
