Oh my gosh, that food looks amazing! I have never had South African food, but I will be searching for some now.
Does it seem weird not to be out on a long run today?? Post marathon training is always a little odd for me. I never quite know what I’m supposed to be doing, ha ha.
We are going to enjoy being outside as much as possible this weekend with the beautiful weather. But today, we get my sis-in-law’s dog for 5 days. He is just the sweetest most chill dog ever, so hopefully all goes well with our cats. It’s been almost a year since we had to say goodbye to our dog, so it will be so fun to have a doggo around for a while. Then tonight we’re going to see Hairspray.

Seriously, already planning our next stop back for more of it. Seriously feels SO weird but also I couldn’t imagine running today either, ha. I am so glad that you get to have her dog for five days and I hope everything goes well with the cats too. How has it been almost a year? Have the best time at Hairspray and thanks, Wendy!

It’s 28 degrees and lightly snowing here but I am about to head out for a run anyway. I skipped my usual Saturday morning run last weekend and if I skip it two weeks in a row I will go nuts. I’m wearing the fleece running hat that you recommended from Amazon, so thanks for the recommendation!

possibly my fav time of the year…spring…yard clean up, raking, getting the garden ready to plant..and running, the wetaher’s perfect..I explore a lot of my favorite places near the river valley…places I grew up in or near..lots of memories….
