Silentish Saturday!

(pants, bra, earwarmer, vest ((on sale, I wear this vest all of the time)) top)

8 miles @ 8:38 average.

Plus a walk with my sister to get sun in our eyeballs.

Just a normal day.

I love these from Costco.

Went to BYU indoor track…

To watch my nephew compete in the 2 mile.

He. Is. Incredible.

I want to try out a pair of these.

Taco soup at my parents’ house.

Ummm I think we should all try this…

Okay, now you have me googling everything Berlin-marathon, Berlin, etc. – I love inline skate races, so that would be so fun to skate Berlin AND get an automatic running marathon entry! Now I just have to figure out how quickly I can skate a full marathon after having a baby (early July)… hmm… that may be a bit of a stretch! :)
I am off for a little treadmill run here soon. I think I might checkout the new Des & Kara podcast! Enjoy your weekend!!

I really think we all need to get out and do it… please! Congratulations on your pregnancy, I hope you are feeling well. Enjoy the run and podcast! Happy weekend, Katie.

Congratulations to your nephew!!!
I read about skating the Berlin marathon. How fun would that be!?!
Three things today – giving my body a non-run day since it feels very tired (I hit 30 miles this week without realizing it, and I’m not training for anything), doing some work at my favorite nonprofit, hitting up Target and probably Trader Joe’s. I will probably get outside for a good walk in the sunshine. Love the feeling of the warm sun on my face with the cool air.
Have a wonderful weekend Janae 😊

I think we need to all go out and skate it. Way to go listening to your body and you had an awesome week of running. If you find anything cool at TJ’s, let me know. ENJOY that sun on your face. Thanks friend, you too!

Hi Janae! My cat is sick so we are going back to the vet today after fasting for x-rays. Having her fast is the saddest thing ever cuz she doesn’t understand what’s going on. Hope we figure it out soon!
Have a great weekend!

I did a long run and an ab workout: pick some races; and give some of my son’s stuffed animals a bath.
I could hear that there was a rock in my show during my run this morning. I didn’t think anything of it. I got home and looked at it. It was a big pointy rock stuck in the foam part of the shoe rather than a pebble stuck in the tread. It left a hole!!!! These shoes are new and only have 25 miles on them. I’m really mad about this.
Have a good weekend!

Great job on that long run and ab workout! Hahaha we need to give the kid’s stuffed animals a bath too. NOOOOO to that rock. Oh I am mad for you! I’m so sorry. Thanks Lee, you too!

What size vest do you have? I’ve read it runs small. Did you size up from your normal Lulu size? It’s been sitting in my cart for 2 weeks but haven’t bitten the bullet without knowing the right size to get.

YOU NEED THE VEST! I either wear a 4 or 6 in my tops at lulu and the vest I have in a 6 and it fits perfect. You are going to love it. I use this vest so often. Have a beautiful day, Kim!

You nephew’s stride!!!

We watched the roller bladers at Berlin (they compete the day before) and it was so fun to see! If I knew how to roller blade I’d totally go, as I didn’t make it in the lottery (feeling grateful for my 2018 Berlin!)

Today went mountain biking on slightly snowy trails (which means I was white knuckling all day) then walked the dogaloo and premade a bunch of chicken for the ravenous teenager boy.

That vest is super cute and am debating the green. Do I wear green? no. Do I have a zillion black vests? yes.

He was made to be a runner! You watched them?! That is so so cool. Oh I hope you get another chance soon to run Berlin. Way to go on your ride today and can I come over for some chicken today;). I wear my green one ALL OF THE TIME! I say go for it! Have a beautiful day, Kelly!

Congratulation, Janae’s nephew! Oh, my goodness I could totally in-line skate the Berlin marathon :-) I love rollerblading!

Talked to my sister on the phone for the entire 5.5 miles of my walk this morning, grocery shopped, currently taking a bath, ha!, reading, I always give more than three :-) happy Saturday!

Hi! I’m heading to Moab via SLC next week for the Arches ultra and would love an updated ‘what you must eat and see in the area’ post! I was specifically searching for the donut you’ve been talking about this last year but the search feature didn’t bring it up. Can’t wait to be back in Utah!

Um Janae, I think I am this close to signing up for the Berlin-skating thing… I am not sure I want to run a full Marathon but that would be a problem for 2024 I guess… I suck at inline skating though… But HOW FUN?!

What are the secrets of snow running? I got the cold/wet/slush down (I live in Boston). But every year the flow is interrupted by snow banks, large puddles and ice. Winter training really just gives you all the obstacles!
