(long-sleeve, leggings.. picture from another day but I was pretty much wearing the same outfit yesterday… this pic was just prettier:)

CURRENTLY:

*Still wondering what the Peloton app did to me to change me into loving strength training.

*Confused how I ran around with a screw stuck in my shoe.

*Wondering how Andrew eats bananas when they are green.

*Shocked that I, Janae Baron, have kept plants alive. Let’s be honest, it’s the AeroGarden that does all of the work for me. I just get to enjoy fresh herbs whenever I want.

*Pretty happy about my Valentines Day nails.

*Reading this.

*Planning Beretta’s 11th birthday party this month.

*Asking myself these questions from Deena’s Book.
*Just so excited for Boston… Talking to my old coach, Hawk, about it the other day made me even more excited.
*Needing this glazed donut from Lighthouse.
*Surprised that nobody is sick at our house right now… this feels rare in the winter.
*So excited about this (I spy Kodi and Savannah on this list… two girls I get the chance to run with/behind;)

Any of these for you?

Currently reading The German Wife. So far so good! Unhoneymooners was a fun read!
Currently doing Peloton strength, too! I have been doing 5-10 minute strength sessions after my runs. You were right-it warms up the body after a cold run.
Have fun planning a dog birthday party. At 11 years old, has Baretta signed up for AARP yet?

Adding The German Wife to my list, thank you! Seriously, the Peloton app makes it so easy to get in strength training as a runner! Hahah I’m pretty sure Andrew has;). Have the best day, Molly!

the peloton app makes strength training fun. i’ve been doing the programs for months. these help keep me accountable and progress. i saw you in a class the other day but didn’t get to join you

How do they do it?! Because I have never enjoyed it until now! We should all do a class together, that would be so fun. Have the best day, Therese!

I should re-read Deena’s book, it’s been a while. Thanks for the reminder!

The Boston elite list is amazing!! Can’t wait to watch!

I really think I need to read it every marathon training cycle ha. Seriously, it is going to be such an amazing field! Hope your Tuesday is off to a great start, thanks Mariah!

Hi Janae! I just saw that Lauren Fleshman’s new book, Good for a Girl, comes out today. It sounds fascinating—do you plan on reading it?

AHHH I have to get it! Thanks for reminding me of it. Have the best day, Jenny!

Love the Peloton app; it motivates me to do strength workouts even though I hate them. :) I usually just tack on a 5-15 minute workout after a run or Peloton ride. We always plan a birthday party for our dog, too! She turned 12 this past July but she is still as frisky and energetic as ever.

HOW DO THEY GET US STRENGTH HATERS TO LOVE IT?! I’m so confused. I love that you plan bday parties for your dog too, they need them! I love that she is still so energetic, I swear this last year Beretta has slowed down so much:(. Have a beautiful day, Emily!

That is such a great list of women runners! Boston is going to be so fun to watch this year.
Currently absolutely poring down rain, so another treadmill run for me. But, much like strength work, the Peloton app makes treadmill runs so fun!
Currently starting to deep clean closets, the pantry, kitchen cabinets…. It’s been a few years since I’ve really done that.
Aaawww…. Baretta is turning 11! Sweet doggie.
Have a good day Janae 😊

YES, the field is incredible! We are getting a lot of rain here too. That app sure does make working out so much more fun. Good luck with that… I probably should do the same thing! I hope you do too, Wendy!

I LOVE you nails and green bananas LOL.

It’s fun to see the list for Boston, I really hope that I get to run there some day.

None if us are sick either and I feel like it’s probably coming for us but…… positive thoughts ;)

I love your sunnies, I am sure you have linked them a bunch but can you tell me where they are from? THANKS!

HOW to the green bananas haha!? The year you are there, I’ll come too so we can meet. Fingers crossed we got all of the germs out of the way! I was going to share them on Friday, you are good! Here is the link, I hope you love them too and have a great day, Beth!

Hi Janae! That’s so cool you get to train with elites! I read Deena’s book (at jury duty) years ago on your recommendation and loved it! Good reminder to pick it up again.
Have an awesome day and stay healthy!

There are some incredibly fast humans in our area! And Deena’s book truly changed so much in my brain, I’m glad you loved it too. Thanks friend, you too and enjoy sleeping in your own bed again!

I LOVE your nails! Valentine’s Day is my favorite holiday, so I’ve already been decorating my office and thought it might be too early….you validate me. :)

And now you just validated me in putting up my Valentines decorations at home:) Hahah! Hope your day is off to a great start and happy almost Valentines!

Currently conflicted about the rain in California. So happy we are getting it, but wishing it was more spread out, also wishing I could get out and run. I was able to sneak in 5 miles on Sunday and hoping I’ll get back out tomorrow. Currently the rain is coming down in sheets and blowing sideways – very rare here!

Currently thinking about the British Isles (England, Scotland, Ireland.) We have a cruise booked for May and I’m starting to look at excursions. We’re tagging on a few days in Normandy at the end, too, so my reading is going to be about WW2 for the next while.

Currently finishing off a batch of banana muffins because ours were way too brown to eat. I think there is about a 2-3 day perfect window from too green to too brown!

We are getting a lot of rain too! I really hope you are able to get in a good run tomorrow. Ummm can I come with you, that trip sounds incredible. Yep, I need those muffins too! Have a beautiful day, Kathy!

lol yes Peloton tricked me into that too! Now I wonder how I ever even ran without doing strength training regularly! I try to follow the HardCore calendar but life lol. Have you done Becs Core For Runners classes? Those are my favorite! I have followed your blog for like a million years and never commented so here I am lol. Peloton LB #FullCourtWife

They really did trick us haha… but thankfully they did. I need to try the HardCore calendar! Thank you for being my friend over the years and please keep in touch. Thanks, Sarah!
