That pie looks so yummy!! Today I’m making the cheesy bread sticks and tortellini soup you shared.
My daughter has a friend over and we are decorating Christmas cookies. It’s going to be a rainy day here so I’m getting out for my run before the rain starts.
Which vest are you wearing in the photo above? Is it the bivy?
Have a great Saturday!

You need to try the pie and I hope you love the bread sticks and soup… you are making me want to make those today now ha. Yes, it is the bivy in forest green! Thanks Ashlea, you too!

Hello! Happy Saturday. For me it’s a shorter run this morning, baby shower, and a birthday party later tonight. Fun weekend in Boise with friends I haven’t seen in years.
The peppermint pie looks amazing!

It’s so sweet and thoughtful that Brooke’s Paternal Grandmother sends something to all the kiddos.

The matching PJs are so cute with all those sweet babies. The drawing class looks so fun!

Have fun with your long run today! I am supposed to long run too, we’ll see if I am ready for that (might move it to early morning Monday), we need to decorate our Christmas tree and pack up the car for a very early morning departure to go skiing tomorrow.

Enjoy your Weekend!!

It really is, she amazes me! So happy you guys are skiing tomorrow and I want to hear all about it. I hope your long run either went well this morning or it goes well on Monday. Thanks friend, you too!

Good morning! I am off to a pretty productive start here because I did not sleep in much for a Saturday (finally, yay!). I have some errands to run, Christmas donation gifts to wrap, and just general tidying of the house from our usual chaotic week. Plus Saturday is soup day this time of year, and I am hoping we can find time to start making some Christmas cookies with the kids. Cutouts perhaps? Should be fun! Your peppermint pie looks delicious !!

It feels so good to check those things off the list, way to go! Enjoy the soup and cookies, sounds perfect. Thanks Katie!

Comment from the previous post – that Paprika app is amazing!! I can’t believe how useful it is. I just wonder – and you would be one who could shed light on this – does this take away from the bloggers in any way? I mean I kind of feel like it must because I’m visiting their sites less often through this right? I absolutely love this thing so much but there’s some food bloggers I follow religiously and I want them to be supported completely. I wonder if there’s a way for them to get paid here since Paprika is a paid service that just basically organizes their content

That is SUCH a good point and one I haven’t really thought about… interesting. We could make sure to visit their site each time we make a recipe from them to give them the clicks for each time we use their content?! Thank you for bringing that up to me, I really appreciate this. Have a beautiful day, Sarah!

That is so kind that Brooke’s Grandmother sends gifts for all the kids. I love that there is that kind of support from everyone for the kiddos! 💕

She is such a good example to me. We feel so lucky! Hope your day is off to a beautiful start!

How sweet of Brooke’s grandma to send all the kids gifts.
I have had a super busy week, with another one next week, so I am finding it difficult to get in my regular runs and workouts. But I will stay positive about that because I am helping people who need extra help this time of year.
Today is the neighborhood cookie exchange, then I’ll be cleaning the house. It desperately needs it after our Thanksgiving week.
Have a great long run, and enjoy your weekend!

Right?! It makes all of their days! You have been so busy and you make the biggest difference in your community and I really admire that about you. Enjoy all of the cookies tonight, I want to do that in my neighborhood. Hope you get in some rest too. Thanks Wendy!

Hi Janae! Not too much going on around here today, I have to finish up some work and hopefully fully unpack from vacation! Hopefully I can get started on making my holiday cards!
Happy weekend!

Sat – I ran a half marathon (goal marathon is in March) and did pretty well considering I have been struggling with an ITSB issue since Jan. :( The rest of the day was spent with family.
