(Shorts, bra)

Blogging from my phone in an airport so I’m going to apologize ahead of time for the errors, ha.

The day started early for a peloton ride! I’m feeling stronger on the bike again and I really think it helps with my running cadence/power/speed so I’m motivated to keep using it.

Loved the music on this class that I took!

And then it was off to the airport to get Brooke to her dad’s house.

Once we got there we actually had a few hours to hang out.

And then it was back home to Andrew and the littles!

Breeze airlines may squish my legs but the crazy cheap prices make it so worth it.  Also, I finished this book. It was good but not great IMO.

I have some favorite things from the week:

*This dress! If you want to feel like you are wrapped in a blanket all day, you need this dress.

*The night and day difference in my hair when I used this moisture mask on it.  My hair styled so much better than it normally does and smelled like pure joy.  It’s one of those things that I will now be buying for every female I know on their birthday in 2023.

*This episode was so good.  I am so happy for my girls and this next generation of athletes.  There is so much more information available and we are all so much more open about everything going on with our bodies and cycles.

And an unfavorite…

When someone opens a bag of carrots like this ha.

Hey Janae! You’re an amazing mom flying back and forth! Love the dress you shared. What boots are you wearing with it?

Thank you, KB!! Oh these boots are my favorites and I hope you love them too. Have a beautiful day! https://shopstyle.it/l/bQwea

Thanks so much, Janae! Do you happen to know what size you are and what you wear in running shoes? Thinking I can adjust for myself accordingly!

HEY!! Sorry that took me so long. My running shoes are size 10 and I have the boots in a 9.5! Merry Christmas!

Some of our traditions include a movie on Christmas Eve morning and then opening a new pair of pjs before church that night! Then for Christmas Day brunch we do monkey bread and egg casserole and I’m pumped to have monkey bread. It’s the only time of year I have it!

A GIANT unfavorite for me is the weather. At my parents house in Chicago for the holidays and it’s currently -9 with a feels like of -35… I’ll be horizontal on a couch by the fireplace all day if you need me!

I love reading about what you are doing this weekend. It all sounds perfect and I need some monkey bread asap! That sounds so good. Ummmmm that is way too cold. Stay safe and do not leave that fireplace!

I love sweater dresses! They are so cozy but I get so many compliments when wearing them!
I will skip that book too then. I read The Couple Next Door and thought it was meh.
Unfavorite is baby carrots in general! The actual carrot tastes so much better to me. And I’ll second that Chicago weather. I’m right outside city/suburb limits. It currently feels like -35. I’ll stay inside with my Peloton, hot chocolate and gift wrapping today.
Have a great holiday weekend even though Brooke and Knox are away!

Yeah, definitely did not wow me but I had to finish because I needed to know the answers but yeah… skip it. Ummmm feels like -35. Molly, that is scary! Stay inside for as long as possible. Thank you friend and sending love to you this weekend!

How fun that you and Brooke were able to have a little more time together at the airport. When does she come back?
We’re doing our traditional Christmas Eve dinner tonight, since we’ll be with family on Christmas Eve day. So I am roasting a turkey today. The house is going to smell amazing. Then after dinner we walk through our neighborhood with all of the amazing sparkle balls (Google Fullerton CA sparkle balls). I’m so looking forward to the next 3 days filled with family and lots of love.
Have a great Christmas Eve Eve!

Merry Christmas Janae! I read that book and felt the same about it. Kind of just felt like I was reading a soap opera. It wasn’t terrible but I didn’t love it either. We had to change our traditions up a bit this year because of weather! We’ve already had our usual Christmas Eve family dinner, so it kind of feels like Christmas already happened, lol! Our teen/adult kids will still open gifts on Christmas morning so that will stay the same since they are snowed in here with us!

Love that dress! One of my favorite things from this year is this cheese grater! I love freshly grated cheese but not the work that goes in it. This gadget is SO good and saves your knuckles!

Merry Christmas, Janae! I probably won’t be back on over the weekend.

Fun tradition for us is walking our neighborhood on Christmas Eve night to see the lights. Les suggested riding our bikes this time to see more houses, so I’m charging ALL my lights!

Hi Janae! That carrot picture is giving me a flashback to when my friends husband opened a bag of makeup removal wipes like you would a chip bag! There was clearly a plastic flap to open and close on top!
Yesterday my mom and I gave the dog a bath which ended up being pretty fun.
Sadly there is a huge winter storm going on and my husband’s flight to salt lake city got canceled! He’s on like a seven hour hold with customer care.. all flights booked til Monday :(. I hope he figures something out!

Brooke is so grown up!

Tomorrow morning my family is running and then working a Christmas Eve Toy Run. It is seriously my favorite! I love seeing everyone dressed up and all the pups. It’s super early but other than that, it’s just the best! Then, tomorrow night we’ll have the whole family over (and some friends) and we’ll wear pj’s, eat Chinese food, and play some fun games. Christmas breakfast with my little family, then we’ll host my extended family for lunch.

I really enjoy your blog. :)
Quick question: Do you consume any caffeine regularly? I’m thinking of giving it up aside from tea.
