HAMSTRING WAS SO HAPPY!

8 miles @ 8:32 average with Andrew and the kids.

Stopped to find bugs.

The prettiest pumpkin display I’ve ever seen.

PLUNJ!

I love this place.

Had a shoot in the mountains and the crew came with me.

Movie night at the nieghbors.

Early to bed! Time for a 10k time trial.

I just finished a 10 mile run in beautiful fall weather. The sunshine felt so good. The plan is to be outdoors as much as possible today. Brook and Knox look so grown up. Enjoy the weekend!

My three things: I am so happy that my college girl is home for the weekend! We are going to our town’s “Squash & Gobble Festival” this morning and we are both so excited to see all the booths and eat all the food, ha! We are also going to take the kids to look at the new house we just bought–eek! And then we are headed back home to get our current house ready to sell. Have a great day!

Oh my goodness, it is such a beautiful, clear, crisp Colorado morning! I’m heading out for a run in a little bit. The rest of the day will be helping my mom with whatever she needs.

that outfit in the first picture is so cute!

When you go to Plunj, do you do one rotation in the sauna/cold or a few times? Come to Germany and enjoy our baths and the outdoor Kneippe’s (outdoor cold water plunges).

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

YES!! I usually go through 3 cycles while I am there. Ummmm I would love to come to Germany and do that with you! Thank you friend, have the best weekend!

I love having neighbors that have such great landscaping! My yard isn’t up to par to theirs. But I do share homemade cookies and sourdough. Maybe I can throw a few pumpkins on my steps though. Thanks for the inspiration!
Can’t wait to hear about your time trial!

Homemade cookies and sourdough > any other neighborly thing ha. You must be the best neighbor! Thank you, Molly! It was a great morning!

Number one -my 20 miler for the Chicago Marathon. This has been a magical perfect training cycle. (Though not anything like yours-different stages-different goals-different plans). 2-we’ve started packing for the move to the new house. 3-there is no number 3 because number 1 made me tired. Let the taper begin

THERESE! Congrats on an amazing 20 miler. You are crushing the training while also moving?! Enjoy the taper and I would love to hear all about your Chicago experience!

I wish I had a place like Plunj near me. After months of being injury free my hamstring/calf is feeling off 2 weeks before my marathon. I’m working hard to use all my recovery tools to get it ready for my race.

Question for you… We were both training for Boston last April and you shared your run schedule leading up to the race and it really helped me. You recently shared your mileage plan. Would you be able to share your day by day run schedule leading up to the marathon? I’m running my marathon the day after yours so it’d help me plan.

I am SO sorry about your hamstring/calf and I hope it all loosens up and feels 100% this week.

YES YES YES!! I am so glad that it was able to help you! I’m trying to post at the end of each month my daily run schedule. Here is August training (and it includes links to the previous months in this post). I will post September soon!
