I’m going to talk about the Endorphin Pro 2s for a minute (the ones I linked above that you can get for 50% off). These were another pair of shoes that my running friends wore and raved about for a very long time. They wore them for easy runs, speed, or even races and had nothing but good to say about them. Once I tried them at a group run, and they were half off, I decided I needed them.
They have a carbon fiber plate and are incredibly lightweight. I love how they hold my foot (especially my heel) in place, but they are not cushy shoes like the Hoka Cliftons… these are meant for speed. I don’t see myself racing in them (because I love the Nikes so much), but they are perfect for workouts and so much cheaper! You feel like you are launched forward in these shoes. I went up a half size in these than my normal size (normally 10, and the 10.5 is perfect), and these shoelaces require a double knot in my opinion, because they come untied easily. I LOVE the orange and tan color combo. One last tangent about them, I haven’t felt my plantar fasciitis in months, and these shoes also keep my PF happy. I am always scared to try something new after an injury, but I’m feeling less nervous about it these days.
It was one of those mornings where you need to get back in bed with everyone after your shower…
I am NOT ready for school to start and the busy mornings for the kids to be normal.
A tooth cleaning took place, and I asked for laughing gas… I love laughing gas way too much, ha.
After the dentist, I had an activity for the girls that are Brooke’s age in our area. My friend put together so many fun games for them.
Have you ever taken the wrong turn/gotten lost on a race course?
-A few weekends ago, my friend… the course wasn’t marked properly!
Laughing gas, like it or not?
Do you wear your running watch all day?
-I only take it off for when I sleep but Andrew even wears his to bed!
Have an area in your space where you escape to when you need some time to breathe/be alone?
