Silentish Saturday!!!

Good morning and happy weekend!  It was a great day for a race and I have a full recap coming up on Monday!  I didn’t take a ton of pictures yesterday (other than at the race) but I do have a few to share today…

Running on the dirt was so fun (but the snow and ice were a little trickier).  2:10:49 for the 16.5 miles!

Hot tub as soon as we got home—> SO needed.

Along with some chick-fil-a and Skye is very thrilled to have my race shirt to sleep in now… she is obsessed with pink!

Lots of stretching and foam rolling.

Brooke and Knox are gone for the weekend which means Skye has free rein to all of the toys in the house.

If you like garlic, cheese and carbs… I think you need to make these rolls that I made on Thursday.

Also, I was a huge fan of this Thai Peanut Noodle salad that my friend made.

These two are going to get all of the snuggling this weekend.

Ahhh congratulations on the race!! The celebrating in the hot tub after is perfection!
It’s warm-ish outside right now and raining, but by afternoon it’s going to snow here so the kids soccer game was canceled. ? I’m in full on taper mode so we’re hitting the gym so I can run on the treadmill and then I think we’re going to the mall. My daughter wants to go to Claire’s ☺️ And I’m reliving my 90s childhood. I hope you have a great weekend!

Thank you Mollie! YOUR RACE IS SO SOON. I am so excited for you and keep rocking that taper. The training is done, now you get to go celebrate it soon. Bahaha I wish me and the girls could join you guys at Claire’s, they love it so much too.

Congrats on the race!! And a good training run for Boston, double win!

It’s snowy and rainy here today (whyyy both???), so mostly staying warm and dry inside. Bike workout, an online final for school, and curling up with my book club book.

Snowy AND rainy… boo! I hope you have some hot chocolate today. Enjoy the workout, GOOD LUCK on your final and enjoy that book (you’ll have to let me know what you think when you finish).

Congrats on your strong race!! I hope you’ll say in your recap how you can handle ice and snow while wearing shorts, LOL!
I’m at the airport, sending my daughter back to school from spring break :( Heading home to hibernate through a crazy snowstorm.

Hahaha I think I was the only woman that I saw in shorts, I would have died in pants. I bet that is really hard to say goodbye and I hope that your hibernation goes perfectly… lots of hot chocolate I hope! Thanks Corey!

Hi Janae! Can’t wait to hear about your race! Sounds like you did really well!
We are going hiking now and I have some studying to do later but will cook something exciting together, we haven’t decided what.
Happy weekend!

not a good day…was going to take part in a Park Run this morning, but concussion told me nope….so fingers crossed for a run in the sun later today..it’s warm so gotta do something……back to watching the heart breaking news from Ukraine, am going to spend today doing something positive, donating what I can, find the right place for that (red cross?)….I’m Ukrainian, I know there are distance family connections there still..but I’m switching between anger, and sadness…so a run will help…

Amazing job on your race! cant wait to hear about it!

3 things:
1-we had almost 60 degrees yesterday, then woke up to 23, super windy, and a dusting of snow. We never get snow. It makes me sooooooo glad my race weekend was last week, when it was 75 and beautiful!!
2-spring cleaning going on in my office at work……so ready to have it more organized
3-I won a cake giveaway from my favorite bakery on the planet, so I am going to surprise my sister with it for her birthday monday (pi day I know, but she loves cake more!)

happy weekend!
