Happy Weekend!!!
When Emilee and I hit a headwind, we turned and went the other way… we were not interested in dealing with wind yesterday.
The Launch 8s are sure pretty IMO. Haven’t worn the Launch in a while and they sure felt nice and light.

The usual morning.
Tried the double chocolate muffins with pb chips and they were delicious.
I was in my running clothes for WAYYYYY too long yesterday.
And then we were in PJs very early… ps these are my absolute favorite kid pjs!
Andrew brought Cafe Rio home with him for us…
And Brooke is beating us all in mancala.
Time to celebrate Andrew all weekend… his Bday dinner request haha. He wants a table full of appetizers for his dinner.
Time to conduct an experiment and see if it is actually possible for me to do a speed workout without my friends;)

That’s kind of a fun idea for a birthday. I love appetizers.
I have been wondering how your chickens are doing through the winter… Obviously still producing eggs, which is awesome. Do you need to worry about the cold temps? I have a couple of neighbors who have chickens, and they have to worry about extreme heat out here (in late summer).
Today I am getting my 1st vaccine shot!! I’m excited to help move all of us forward and back to a normal! My husband is a teacher, so he’s having his 2nd shot next week. For us, it feels like an extra little safety net, and with the numbers dropping, restaurants, movie theaters, gyms are starting to open again. Such a great feeling on the 1 year “anniversary” of everything shutting down ?.
Other than that, it should be a nice quiet weekend.

HEY WENDY! So they are actually doing really well in the winter. We thought we would have to have a heat lamp in there but we talked to some farmers in our area and they told us they do fine in our winters (and they huddle up together if they need to). I’ve also heard that extreme heat is harder for them! YAY for getting the vaccine. I am thrilled for you both! SO EXCITING!! I hope you enjoy that quiet weekend and thank you friend!

I lost my Dad to cancer 5 years ago so, I laced up my trail shoes and did 5 miles outside before snowmageddon hits Wyoming. Then, I transitioned to the treadmill for another 5 because my Dad raised tough women! Spending the rest of the day relaxing and being thankful.

Those muffins look delicious! I can’t wait to try them. I got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday and my arm is a little sore at the injection site but nothing major. I feel so relieved and grateful to have it and I’m going to get out for a run to celebrate!

Today I already went for a run with a friend and did an online final for school. And now I’m getting ready to go on a date ? I’m truly terrible at dating, but this guy seems really sweet. Wish me luck!
