The littles and I went over to my sister’s after we dropped off B & K at school… I strength trained for 6 minutes. Baby steps.
Normal morning at home.
Bangs friend sent me the most delicious cookies.
My mom brought over lunch for us to eat together.
I reallllly wanted to go ski.
Then Skye went out and skied with Andrew and Brooke.
And we cuddled.

Our plans are pretty simple this weekend, we are expecting 3-6 inches of snow and a high of 7 (YIKES) so maybe a little sledding and a lot of cuddling.

Happy Birthday!! What a fun birthday weekend!! For my birthday this year I went up to the mountains as well! One of the few fun things to do for a winter birthday! Haha
It is very cold this weekend, I took my dog out for a walk this morning and the temp said -1!! We might try to bundle up for a bit with our 2.5 year old and go outside for a few mins. It’s supposed to snow later so maybe we’ll get to play in the snow but for now it’s just COLD!

Happy birthday Janae! Enjoy all the festivities. I went ice-skating on the lake with my youngest son today. So happy that I can do that at 53, even if I’m not great at it. It has been four years since I last skated, but it’s just like riding a bike, you don’t unlearn it. I just went on a walk with my husband, because it’s just so beautiful outside within sunshine and snow on the ground. One more ice day tomorrow, and then it’ll be over. Have a great weekend!

Ran 15 miles, felt good except my feet are covered in blisters and they HURT!! I don’t know what is going on. I have never had this many issues with shoes. I went to my running store and decided on the Glycerins 19. On Thursday I did a 4 mile run and on mile 2 my feet were killing me. Going to exchange them as soon as my blisters heal. So I think going into this run my feet were already beat up, last week I ran 14 miles in my Hoka Bondis and just had my normal hot spots. This week, same shoes and all these blisters??!
While I was in the store the Brooks rep came in and showed them an example of a shoe coming out in June, a limited edition. The next Glycerins will have the technology. It was cool!!
