Silentish Saturday!

I’ve learned to bring dry clothes to change into after a run if I run from my mom’s house because I HATE freezing in a sweaty sports bra on the way home.

Thanks mom for the run!

Have a great weekend! Taking it easy today—it’s a movie and reading kind of day, probably with a lot of hot chocolate thrown in. We just have to decide what to watch!

The cake looks DELICIOUS!!!

Sounds like the best day ever! Enjoy and I’ll drink some hot chocolate too. Thank you friend❤️. Happy weekend!

Janae, did you know your blog isn’t coming through on Bloglovin? At least it hasn’t this week.
P.S. I love your blog!

Thank you soooooooo much Jenny! I’m trying to figure out how to fix it??‍♀️ Any tech savvy people? Have a fabulous weekend!

Hi Janae,
Happy Saturday! Could you kindly tell me where you bought your beanie with a pom on the pic with Beck in the kitchen?
Thank you so much!

Hey Maria!! I got it from https://sarahmariedesignstudio.com/ a few years ago. I don’t see it online anymore but everything she sells is the best. Have a great weekend!

Would have been a long run day, but went to the doctor yesterday…he thinks I have a femoral stress fracture :( No running for me anytime soon.

Mercedes. I am so incredibly sorry. I cried for days when this happened to me. I am so sorry and I am here if you need to talk.

Thank you, he said up to 12 weeks no running depending on what the bone scan shows. I was hoping this would be my year, but maybe I’ll have to make the best of the fall/winter season. I keep reminding myself that it’s all temporary and even Des Linden had a femoral stress fracture, then she won Boston!

YES YES YES… she sure did! You will come back stronger and more thankful than ever for running. I’m cheering for you!

Easy day today…started with my devotional, going to take our Christmas tree down at our lake house finally(we haven’t been back since Christmas) and then will probably take the dog on a long walk! Happy Saturday!!

P.S. I have to change my clothes after a workout too because I hate to be cold!!

Your Saturday sounds like a great one! I want to come to your lake house! It is pure torture to stay in workout clothes when it is cold outside. Have a great weekend, Niki!

A while back you mentioned the fabulous Albanese gummy bears. They’re delicious and one of my favorite treats. I found a giant 2.5 pound bag of “Ultimate” flavor ones at Costco yesterday!

Reply

Thank you so much for letting me know, I must go get them! Happy Saturday Samantha!

That cake looks so good!
I switched things up, and did my long run yesterday on my favorite trail. The trail has gotten way too crowded on the weekends for my comfort. Yesterday was perfect for a good long run. So today will be maybe 4 miles, followed by making waffles for the family. Then just house stuff and making some banana bread.
Enjoy your weekend Janae ?

What a great idea to switch things up to feel more safe and go on Friday! Great job on your long run! And now I need some banana bread and waffles… enjoy. Have an awesome weekend, Wendy!

Ran 11 miles, relaxing and going with my girls for an overnight at my Mom’s house. My youngest goes back for in person learning again on Thurs (2 days a week) and so we won’t see her for awhile just to be cautious. Keeping the oldest home until end of March. It’s a long story, but middle school isn’t that enjoyable in Covid times ( she said, it’s not like it’s fun when their isn’t a pandemic either, ha!!).

11 miles ??! Have the best time at your mom’s house! I’m excited for your youngest and totally understand what your oldest is saying ha! Have a beautiful day Carrie!

It occurred to me that what I wrote sounded like we won’t see my 4th grader for awhile, I meant my Mom, ha!!

6 mile run with friends, some prep work for my new job, and relaxing!

So glad you could get out and run with friends! So excited about your new job and enjoy the relaxation❤️

Hi Janae! Today I’m doing some training for my Toastmasters club, going for my long run, and stocking up on my favorite seasonal ice cream flavor from our local shop (pb&j). Have an awesome weekend!

I’ve already crossed one thing off of my list today …. a half marathon! I couldn’t sleep past 4:15am so I figured why not! Lol! I managed to beat the sunrise and come back before the kids woke up!
Next on the agenda is grocery shopping, cleaning and laundry. Such a thrilling day! Lol!
Have a great day!

Thanks so much Jenny! A half marathon? That is an amazing way to start your day (I hope you get a nap though ha)! Thanks Jenny and you too!
