Ahhh I am so thrilled for you. Let me know how it goes tomorrow and I am so glad that they are able to put together another race for you all. Maybe we should come:). Thanks DawnMarie!

Come on over anytime!! So this was my 2nd half in 2 weeks. My amazing running friend and I decided we wanted to tackle the challenge and it WAS a challenge. Crazy amount of hills and CO was HOT!! But, I reminded myself I can do hard things and a million other mantras throughout the 2:20 I was out there! I belong to an endurance team that supports cancer patients and I thought a lot about my Mom and Dad who lost their battle with cancer. Thought about my amazing husband who is a cancer survivor. And said a prayer for your Dad who is winning his battle too! Attitude of gratitude for the win – even though I thought my legs may fall off at one point! Have an amazing week!

WOW, seriously… hills + heat _ 2nd half in 2 weeks, you are STRONG! I am so incredibly sorry that you lost both parents to cancer and I cannot thank you enough for your prayer for my dad. I am so thankful your husband is a cancer survivor and I’m just so impressed by you! I hope your Monday is a great one and that you have an awesome recovery after such a hard race!

Running, baking and Halloween decorating are on the agenda for today. Love the cereal combo:) I always mix cereals; it’s the only way to go! Lately I’ve been topping the mix with a banana, plain Greek Yogurt, cashews, pistachios and those Brach’s pumpkins. It’s a flavor explosion!

That sounds like the perfect day in my opinion. I’m going to try your cereal combo… thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend, Angie.

Happy Baptism Knox! I hope it’s a beautiful day weather wise for you and the service will be wonderful. 3 things: 8 x 1km repeats for my run, a social distances outdoor concert for a family friends band at a local bar and getting documents together for my mortgage (not so fun lol)

Reply

Thank you so much Maureen, that means a lot! 8 x 1k… AWESOME workout. The concert and time with friends sounds perfect and good luck with getting everything together for the mortgage. ENJOY!

Happy Baptism to Knox, I hope he has a wonderful day.

Today we are going to the mountains to see the Breckinridge Troll, maybe some fall baking and chores of course.

Have a great day!!!

Thank you so much Beth! He is so excited. I just googled Breckinridge Troll and that looks AMAZING!! Have the best time and enjoy the fall treats after.

So happy and excited for Knox! Congratulations!
I used to love mixing cereals when I was younger, haven’t done that in a while. I should definitely do that.
A quick run to start the day, then cleaning the house. It should be a good quiet weekend.
Have a great day celebrating Knox, and a relaxing Sunday.

Thank you so much, Wendy! Let me know what cereals you mix, it’s just the best. Enjoy the quietness and the clean house (once you are done:).

FINALS ARE NEXT WEEK! Mariah, I’m thinking about you! You’ve worked so hard and that is all going to pay off during those finals. Enjoy those burgers and great run!

Hi Janae! I’m so happy you got to run with Emilee!! Not too much going on over here since it’s gonna start raining hard.. probably read, get some chores done, and do some art. Happy weekend!!

Thank you so much Amy, it felt so good to run together again. Enjoy the rainy day… I hope you have some hot chocolate too!

What are hokey pokey pieces? I live in Canada and I have no idea what they are!

They are from New Zealand from a reader and it is HEAVENLY!! It is like a caramel white chocolate bar. I need to send you one!

Hi Janae! I ran my first marathon today and it went great! Thanks for being a running inspiration to me for the past few years! About 5 years ago I kinda arbitrarily decided that I would run my first marathon after I had my first baby. I had my son last August so my goal became more real and I’m so glad I was able to achieve it even though I had to do it virtually. I met all of my goals and had fun and even had a toilet paper finish line to break at the end haha. I hope you have a great weekend!

CONGRATULATIONS CLAIRE!! I am so so happy for you. I hope you are still on cloud 9 for the rest of the month over this accomplishment and you crushed your goals. LOVE the TP finish line (seems perfect for 2020!). I bet it was so awesome to see your one year old son at the finish line. Thanks Claire, recover well!

It’s my birthday today and also our thanksgiving weekend (Canada) so I am celebrating ALOT this weekend and it looks like you guys are too!
Due to Covid there is no turkey trot this year which was an annual tradition for my family so instead we went to the corn maze/fun farm in our area yesterday And picked out pumpkins :). Enjoy the weekend!!

HAPPIEST BIRTHDAY GILLIAN! I hope today and this whole weekend is perfect for you and I’m so glad you were able to still go to the fun farm (I want to come with you!!). I’ll eat some cake today in your honor:). Have the best day Gillian!

When I saw your smoothie I thought it looked just like my blended mangos. Just frozen mango and hot water => comes out cool. It looks like you outsourced yours. Considering the time of year, yours might be pumpkin, but I hope it’s mango.

Enjoying the fall weather. It’s a gorgeous day!!

I’ll have to try that combo! Yum! Mine was actually peach and it was so yummy. Keep enjoying Lee!
