Another day off from running but I’ll start back up today and I am so so excited—> that’s how you know you are ready mentally for another marathon;). Normally after a marathon I take at least 1-2 weeks off afterwards but our coach has trained us a little differently this time so we are ready to start running again sooner.
Skye and I went to Target to get some new shoes (somehow we lost her sneakers in St. George) and she probably stared at these for 30% of the day.
A little bit later on in the morning we went to go check out the leaves. PS I’ve had some questions about what pack we use for Skye and it is THIS ONE and we really love it.
You know you have a problem when it’s only been 4 days and you miss your running friends a lot. You sure get close to the people you run with.
Skye lasted about 45 minutes because it was nap time but it sure felt nice to be outside in the fresh air and on our running trails again.
Maybe I need to include hiking with Skye as part of my training because she is getting heavy.
Just the normal afternoon over here.
My good friend had a baby so we took them some of Megan’s Cream Cheese Chicken Chili (I like to add an extra can or two of tomato soup to ours) and made another crockpot for our house too. If you need a delicious soup, try this one asap.
It’s something that all three kids love too.
And then I met up with my team for treats… these cinnamon rolls were insanely good.
PS You know it’s cold in Utah when Andrew wears pants.
Who will be watching Eliud Kipchoge’s 1:59 challenge this weekend? Do you think it is impossible? I am SURE he is going to do it this time! PS the race will be held at anytime between 10/12-10/14 depending on the weather etc but I’ll post about it as soon as I hear on IG!
Do you think Eliud will break two hours in the marathon this weekend?
How long do you usually take off after a big race?
Does it look/feel like fall where you are?
Any questions about the marathon that you are wondering that I can cover in a blog post??
