Here’s what this last week looked like! It’s always a little tricky figuring out how to get in the miles while away but it’s a good thing I’m a morning person:)
Monday: 14 miles of running Timp and 6 miles later on in the day at 8:40 pace. 20 miles for the day because I knew that Tuesday running wouldn’t be happening.
Tuesday: Traveling = 0 miles of running.
Wednesday: 10 miles @ 8:22 pace
Thursday: 12.5 miles with a speed workout… 1.5 mile w/u, 4 x 2 miles @ 6:49 average with about .7 miles recovery in between each 2 mile interval. 7:26 average pace for the entire run. My body felt fine but the humidity made me feel like I was dying:) Do people ever acclimate to humidity?! Is that possible?
I didn’t know it was possible to sweat like this haha.
Friday: 10 miles @ 8:34 pace
Saturday: Planned on doing 15-20 and made it to 12.5 miles @ 8:15 pace. I’m calling my Monday of this last week a long run.
65 miles for the week! Next week I’m planning on getting my mileage to 70 hopefully.
