On Saturdays you can try out Burn for free so Andrew joined me and my sis for the 45 minute workout. I am still modifying things as I recover but it feels so nice to sweat again and get a bit stronger. It was so fun to have Andrew there because we don’t get a lot of chances to work out together! Added bonus of him coming= he now knows how hard the class is and can understand why I say I am so sore after every single class.
Next item on our agenda—> Knox’s soccer game!
Knox was on Andrew’s shoulders first and Skye was jealous and crawled over for him to hold her too. Knox played great!!
Afterwards we were right by where Andrew and I both went to college (BYU) and decided to go to my favorite wrap place on the planet for lunch.
Sadly it was closed so we took that as a sign that we should go out to eat for dinner instead. I ate at this place for pretty much every single lunch during my years at BYU. Their wraps are also good.
Skye went down for a nap and I went to go see the Skin Boss (a lot of locals recommended them to me so I scheduled an appointment) people. I am very serious right now about taking better care of my skin and figuring this all out. We talked for an hour (I am LOVING learning so much about this all) and then I had a chemical peel (the beginner version). Let me know if this is something you want me to blog about or tell me no thank you if it sounds boring:). I’ve also cut down on my dairy (which I know isn’t something that helps everyone but it is something I am doing ((I don’t cut out food groups personally but I am making some switches)) and changing some things so let me know if this is something that you are interested in or if I should stick to running, my tangents and food.
Are you even a true fan if you don’t wear your team’s socks while watching the game;)?
Skye was thrilled that she was invited out on our date with us.
We drove around for twenty minutes trying to think of new places to try… but then came to the group decision to just go to one of our favorite spots instead because we know we always leave this place happy.
We walked around outside for a little while too.
And then inside with the stroller too. This is Skye’s preferred method of stroller riding.
Here’s what this last week of running looked like after my ultra:
0 miles! I am fully happy to continue to soak in the accomplishment and excited for some things (blogging about those tomorrow ahh) up ahead. I’ll probably take another week off from running and do a bit of walking and a few burn classes or yoga this week.
