Finding that Potential, 2nd Long Run & Friday Favorites!

Brooke and Knox’s excitement for their classroom parties at school got them up out of bed and getting ready for school in record time.  Classroom parties are a big motivator for them.

I definitely didn’t have the same motivation to get up and going ha but I did it because race day is going to be here soon!

During the first 2 miles it felt like my entire body was creaking and questioning my life decisions but once I warmed up, things felt good again.  12 miles @ 9:07 average, about 1000 ft of climbing and perfect temperatures again (I didn’t use my gloves for a chunk of the run).  I didn’t do a lot of hills on my 33 miler so I tried to get in some yesterday to get my body used to doing hills on tired legs.

It’s amazing how our bodies are able to adapt to the training over time.  A few years back if I were to do another longer run after my long run, I know I wouldn’t have felt as good as I do now when I do these (injury wise/physically/mentally).

IMG 6873

I did make sure to rest the rest of the day with Skye climbing on me because now the job after these two runs is to recover harder than I ran.  Today and tomorrow are shorter and Sunday is off!

Holidays are our favorite.

IMG 6867

My mom brought over fresh Kneader rolls for our Valentines… she is a very smart woman.

IMG 6901

Skye has just started giving us kisses but they are all open mouthed so we’ll work on that next.

IMG 6908

She smelled her rose from Andrew about 20 times yesterday.

IMG 6900

We didn’t go out or do anything but we did have a mini date on the couch reading over next week’s training plan;)

IMG 6933

Did you see this?  Julie Stackhouse finished in 1:25 in her half marathon even though she was bit a mile away from the end!

I have a few Friday Favorites to share with you today and affiliate links are included!

*I love finding a running tank with a high neckline every now and then.  I love this one and it has a tie in the back along with a nice little vent in the back to keep you nice and cool.  I also got this long sleeve top (I wore it for my 33 miler) and absolutely love it.

IMG 6410

*Natalie told me to go get the pancake bread at Trader Joe’s and she was right… it is AMAZING.

IMG 6421

*THIS BOOK.  So so good.  I started renting books from my library on my iPad and it is the best and so free:)

IMG 6469

*On our way to dinner on Wednesday I couldn’t decide on what sounded best (because everything sounded good at the moment)… so we had it all:). We went to an area where we could just walk to three restaurants that sounded good and split 3 meals ha.  It was a fun date night to have burgers, Mexican and sushi all in one meal.  Try it!!

*I watched Finding Traction with Nikki Kimball again to pump me up for my long runs this week.  There was something she said that I completely related to.

“I do not know where the cap of my potential lies so I just keep running and that is why I run.”  <— Searching for that potential makes all of the training and racing so much fun for me.

PS in the below picture she is at the start of the ultra that I’m about to do (I think she did the 100 miler though which is 2 loops of the 50 that I am doing).

Books—>  Do you buy them, rent them, borrow them?  Electronic books or an actual book?

-I prefer an actual book but I love reading on the treadmill so it’s nice to just get them on the iPad to read on my couch and when running.

Have any favorite things this week?  I would love to hear about them!

Has anyone reading been bit by an animal during a run?

What are you looking forward to this weekend?

I haven’t been bit, but I have been chased down the street by some very angry and aggressive dogs! It was kind of terrifying–these were not playful nips at my ankles! What was supposed to be an easy out-and-back couple of miles ended up being 10 so I could get home without passing that farm again. I’ve since talked to a few neighbors who run, and apparently the entire town avoids that street!

Reply

That must have been so incredibly scary! There was a farm by my old house that I always avoided too because of the dogs. So frustrating.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend Isla full of great miles!

I love a physical book in my hand but I down load ebook from the library all the time too. I recently started getting audiobooks from the library app too! They are great for cleaning the house or long car rides.

I am going to see my best friend this weekend she lives in DC (I’m in NJ) so I have a bit of a car ride ahead of me. But no kids for 48 hours!

Reply

I didn’t know you could get audiobooks from the library app… GAME CHANGER. Thanks for telling me about that Mary. Have a wonderful time with your best friend and enjoy an audiobook in the car:)

My wife checks out books from the public library on her Kindle all the time.

Also check this site out, the selection of free books changes daily and you can sort by category:
https://www.freereadfeed.com/
The free books are yours to keep in your Kindle library, not loaners.

I’m terrible about buying books–I just grab them at Target or the grocery store, and I know they cost more, but I can’t help myself. I tried Kindle reading and don’t like it because I can’t easily flip back to remind myself of something that I can’t quite remember from another page. But–I’m so excited–my daughter has built a Little Free Library for our yard (for a high school project), so we should have a pretty decent exchange of books going on soon.
Favorite thing this week (and forever): my 10-y.o. son asked me if I would be his valentine, and then he asked if I mind our dog and cats also being his valentines. I told him I’d always be his valentine, and pets automatically are because they’re so good :)
I was not bit, but had a dog lunge at me while I was running next to a busy road several years ago; the owner was talking very loudly on her phone, keeping the leash all the way out, and she couldn’t hear me approaching. Staying out of reach of the dog while not going over the curb was pretty nerve-racking. I can’t believe that runner was able to keep going after that painful and scary experience! I guess it only had time to sink in after the adrenaline rush left her at the finish. Dog owners should always assume their dogs will get excited in a high-energy situation like that, and give the dog the benefit of boundaries/leash to keep their behavior in check. I’m glad she wasn’t more badly hurt!
Enjoy your recovery days, and some more yummy food :)

That is so so cool that your daughter built a one of those little free libraries… I’ve seen them around and think they are the cutest thing ever. Your son sounds like he is the best and I agree pets are an automatic.
That must have been VERY scary for you and I’m glad you were okay.
Thanks Corey and I hope you have a great weekend!

YAY!! I’m so glad that you loved the bread! I definitely need to stock up on more for this weekend! :)

I prefer reading actual books, but I would like to get an iPad or Kindle so that I can easily download books and read them anytime and anywhere.

I have two friends from Dallas in town this weekend, so I’m excited about going on some OC adventures with them before going back to Texas later next month. Hope that your weekend is full of relaxation, delicious pancake bread, and precious time with your family, Janae!

Thanks for telling me about it, it really is so good! Have the best time with your friends, I want to join you guys! Have a beautiful day Natalie!

Books on paper. I do a lot of reading on the computer and it is so nice to have no blue light. I feel it.

Andrew has nice fingernails.

Reply

I agree with you! That is so true… I probably need to read books on paper more because I work on the computer.

Have a great day Lee!

I love to buy my books, but that gets expensive, so I download a lot from the library for my kindle! They return automatically so no late fees, and it’s so easy. I also listen to audiobooks in the car, which is fun, but overall I am an actual book kinda girl. I’m listening to The Penderwicks, and it’s so good–it reminds me of Little Women!

Favorite things this week: my birkenstocks, because I hurt my toe so I’ve been wearing them a lot (plus they are excellent for recovery after runs) and the fudge one of my coworkers made for Valentine’s Day. So good. And the nestle chocolate hearts I have in a little bucket on my desk. It’s all about the food.

Reply

That is what I am loving too… I always get late fees with real books ha. Little Women is one of my favorite books so I’ll have to check out The Penderwicks, thanks Kristin.
I am so sorry about your hurt too and I agree… they make my feet feel so much better than my normal flip flops. Send me some of that fudge. Have a wonderful weekend!

I have 18 month-old twin boys and they too are into trying to open-mouth kiss me — I don’t know where they get it from! They sort of gang up on me with passionate baby kiss-attacks. It is so funny… :)

Reply

Hahahaha TWO passionate baby kiss attacks, that is hilarious! I applaud you for being able to keep up with twins at this age… I’m barely keeping up with Skye ha. Have a wonderful day Betsy!

I love a good book! I’ve been reading the orphan keeper and it is so good! I borrowed it from my sister. We’ve been going to the library a lot lately and I like getting books there. I also like audio books that I can listen to while I’m cleaning or something.

Reply

I’m going to have to read that… thanks Jenny!!! Have a great day and enjoy the warmer temperatures!

Pancake bread IS amazing! Btw .. french toast made with trader joe brioche bread will blow your mind!

I have read your blog for a long time and want to say thank you. I look forward to reading your posts everyday and have learned a lot. When I first saw your blog page that said something like “don’t count people as you pass them out loud” I was like hmmm okay she’s a snob. But NOTHING could be further from the truth. Lesson learned!

I run slow. Like a 12 or 13 minute mile and have been paranoid people are laughing at me. But I never get that vibe from you. I think if you passed me you’d wave hello!!!

Anyway have a great weekend!

SYDNEY…. Thank you so much for your sweet comment and I am so happy you said hi! If you are ever in Utah we better go get something to eat and go for a run. YOU ARE OUT THERE RUNNING and doing an amazing job! Keep me updated with how you are doing and you know I’m going to go get that bread for some french toast. Thank you!

I was in that race on Sunday, doing the full. There were a lot of dogs along the course, many unleashed. So I’m not totally surprised by this story.

I have been bit by a dog while running. It was a yellow lab. Jumped up and bit me in the side. I didn’t need stitches, but I do still have scars and it was probably 8 years ago. I was very scared to run past dogs after that!

Reply

You were there?! Congrats on your full marathon Melissa!
I bet you are incredibly afraid after that… I’m SO sorry that happened to you.

I hope you have a great weekend!

Reply

I have about 10 of those long sleeves from lululemon from the past 10 years. They last forever and are awesome!

Reply

I have 4 and I feel the same way… my goal is to get up to 10 like you:) . I hope you have a really great day Kathee!

Reply

Those long sleeve lulu shirts, I’ve been eying them! How do they fit, would you size up one? Also did you wear anything under it when you did your 33 miler?! They look super comfy, just curious how they are for running?!

Reply

THEY ARE PERFECT FOR RUNNING. My favorite. I usually get a 6 in them (but I also have an 8 for a looser fit). I do not wear anything besides a sports bra under. They are seriously the best.

Reply

I ran that same race (much slower than Julie). She’s an awesome local runner here and that bite likely took her off the podium. Still…it’s a really awesome race and so much positivity throughout the course. I highly recommend. Everyone should come to Jax Beach next year and run it with me ?

Reply

Donna, thank you for telling me about this… Julie sounds incredible. Let’s all meet there next year (it looked so so warm:). Have a wonderful day Donna!

I love to read and prefer an actual book, so I always put a few on my Christmas/birthday list. I don’t get to read as much as I’d like, and I’m usually reading a big ol’ history book, so my nightstand is continually full of books waiting to be read. Works for me!

I was surrounded by 3 big dogs on a run years ago, they were aggressive and ended up biting my ankle, just hard enough to draw blood and scare the crap out of me. I live in the country, so unleashed dogs are very common. I yelled but no one ever came out to get the dogs. :( I never went down that road again (bummer cause it’s very pretty!), and I always carry pepper spray now when I run an unfamiliar route, or a road I know has dogs.

Reply

It feels kind of good to have a few books looking at you waiting to be read (I do not like it when I feel like I don’t have something next to read).
SURROUNDED… I cannot even imagine. I am so glad you bring pepper spray now on new roads where dogs might be. Stay safe out there.
Have a great weekend Amanda!

I have 2 daughters (2 and 9) and I got them the Same shirt for Valentines Day!!!! (The one Brooke is wearing!! Yay Target!!!)

Amanda, I feel like we need to be real life friends… we have a lot in common. I’M ALWAYS HERE if you need to talk to someone. I am so so sorry about your divorce and I hope you are doing okay and if your not, I promise it gets better. I need to send you some candy. Please keep in touch!

Oh wow I am the opposite with running shirts, I HATE high necks! It always feels like they are choking me, I love a goods scoop neck or v neck tank. Maybe I just have a huge neck haha.

That pancake bread looks amazing, I wonder if there is a recipe out there for a DIY version.

One of my good friends feels that same way too.. she feels like a high neck running tank is suffocating her! If you find a recipe, send it to me please!

Hi! I’m not sure if you’ve read any of Scott Jurek’s books but I’m almost finished with this one https://www.amazon.com/North-Finding-While-Running-Appalachian/dp/1478916710 it’s really good! It’s not technical but more of him and his wife talking about their day to day on the trails! It’s really enjoyable!

Last March, while training for my first full marathon, I got attacked by a dog. It was on a bike path along a river, and he was coming towards me. He wasn’t on a leash, and his owner was about 20 yards behind him. At first he was really calm, setting his head down on his front paws. But, when I got about 5 feet from him, he snapped and attacked me. His owner ran up and grabbed him away, and I was so freaked out (I am scared of big dogs) that I just took off. I was certain that my pants were torn, leg was bleeding, but they were fine. I ended up with some black and blue marks above and below my knee cap from his jaw, and spent the next mile just sobbing. It was at mile 9 of my 18 miler, and I was pretty much as far away from my finish point as possible. So, I just kept on. A lot of people have told me I should have gotten the name of the owner, reported it to the police, etc. But at the time, my only focus was getting the heck away from the dog. Well, and finishing my run. I still am nervous around big dogs, but I haven’t changed my running paths at all. I am a little bit more vocal when I see people who don’t have leashes on their dogs, though.

Reply

Valerie, that must have been so so scary, I can’t even imagine. I think I would have done the same thing… RAN AWAY FAST. I am so sorry you went through that. I hope it never ever happens again to you.

Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your running.

Definitely Kindle books. I read a ton of books, usually on my Galaxy S8 so I can take notes to ColorNote.

Looking forward to a run at Greenlake tomorrow. I have not been able to run in my neighborhood for 2 weeks – too much plowed up snow on the sidewalks.

I have been chased by dogs twice while running. Both times I assumed (hoped?) they had at least a bit of obedience training so I simply shouted loudly at them to stop, which both of them did. Then I commanded them back to their yards. To my amazement it worked both times. I’m probably just lucky they weren’t more aggressive.

Reply

Enjoy your run at Greenlake this weekend and hopefully spring comes soon!
Wow, that is awesome they actually listened to you!
Have a great weekend!

Reply

I can explain a bit of my rationale.

I had a Samoyed years ago that we took to obedience training. The instructor was a woman probably about 5’ tall and probably not more than 100lbs. On the first day of class she asked who had the most ornery dog in the class. One guy offered up his Boxer. The instructor took this crazy, hyper, jumping crazily into the air boxer up on stage and we all started laughing. She simply gave a few stern voice commands and flicked the leash with her wrist a few times and the Boxer immediately sat, calmed down, and obeyed her. It was pretty amazing what just a flick of the wrist and proper voice inflection can do.

I also had an incident years ago where 2 dogs from the rental house across the street started chasing after a neighbor girl – barking and snarling. Luckily my wife noticed and started screaming so I bolted out the front door, ran across the street and called off the dogs before they caught her. I commanded the dogs back to their driveway, where they stood snarling and barking at me. My wife called the police – who showed up shortly thereafter. I was standing next to the police officer at the end of the rental house driveway with the dogs still snarling at us – and the cop starts to reach for his taser. I’m like, “hold on” – and I commanded the dogs back into their house (the front door was open – nobody home). I guess they don’t train the police how to deal with dogs? The cop looked at me and said, “wow, they really listened to you.’ Lol..

Of course, I am sure this could backfire if the dog is crazed, but it has worked for me. I hope to never have to test it out again :)

I love that book too! I’m more of a real book person but I started listening to audiobooks last year and I’ve been able to read so much more! My uncle got bit by a dog on his hip during a run.

Reply

Andrew loves audiobooks so much too… maybe I need to try that on my runs too. Oh nooo.. I hope he was okay.
Have a great weekend Whitney!

I love those stuffed animals you got the kiddos for Valentines! So cute! AND I love that your birthday/post 33 mile run dinner was really three different dinners split and shared and enjoyed to the max. PERFECT!!! I think I might adapt that idea for a special date night to take TOm on–appetizers at one restaurant, entrees somewhere else, and dessert somewhere else. MAYBE I will store that idea away for his birthday next year when I plan our weekend getaway and make sure that our trip includes that kind of a progressive dinner. That would be fun–and a great way to maximize enjoying the culinary scene of whatever place we wind up visiting!

AHH I LOVE THE REMINDER that I can borrow books from the library on my ipad. There is so MUCH I want to read, and I have a love of buying books–but so little spare cash right now (especially since it tends to go to workout clothes/running shoes and saving up to take TOm out on special date nights…), and literally zero room on the bookshelves. I need to hook up the whole system of borrowing ebooks from my library ASAP. And I need something engaging to read that is not OVERLY mentally taxing right now (so: no literary theory or deeply intense literary fiction) that I can enjoy at the end of a super long day, so that book just might fit the bill.

That lululemon tank top looks so cute. I like that it can be tied up in the back, so it’s OK for someone with a longer torso (like you) or a virtually torso-less short Greek sasquatch like me. ;) I mgiht have to stop in to try it on and if it works and I love it then save my spare pennies. MAYBE. There is also a tank top at Athleta that I have my eye on and might have to save my pennies for –it also has a higher up neckline. It’s called the cadence tank, and I like that it is more ‘muscle tank’ cut and it has some meshy details. It’s this: https://athleta.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=405676002&cid=1030569&pcid=1030569

Or maybe I shouldn’t get any more tank tops, since right now I have approximately 6,394 of them and my place to store my athletic tops is OVERFLOWING.

I think I need to find that pancake bread ASAP.

Reply

Oh that is a really great idea to split it up to appetizers, main course and dessert! We are going to have to try that next. Go rent some library books on your ipad and ENJOY! That tank is SO SO cute! Hahaha you can never have too many athletic pieces:) . Have a beautiful day Stephanie!

I was just catching up on your blog and saw the 33 miles yesterday. Awesome!!! Congrats! My friend just ran 45 miles for his 45th birthday… maybe you will go that far someday too! I’ve been enjoying your training journey for the 50 miler. You are going to crush it.

I got bit my a mastiff on a run a few years back. A child accidentally let him out while I was running by and I will give the dog the benefit of the doubt that it thought it was being protective of the child. It bit my butt and left some puncture wounds. At first I was in shock and kept running but about a block later I realized I was in pain and then I just started crying. I have had a few close calls with dogs also while on my bike in the country too. I always worry at races where people bring their dogs. That many people running by has to be a lot of stimulation for a dog.

I prefer to just get books from the library. I tried doing ebooks but nothing beats a physical book in my hands.

Mexican, burgers and sushi all in one meal sounds amazing!

Reply

Where do you go to find all these documentaries? Can you make a list of your most recent running ones?

Reply

OH MY GOSH about Julie Stackhouse!!!!! I actually remember her from the Key West Half Marathon because she WON the whole thing (beating all of the guys, too, woo hoo) two years ago. That story with the dog is CRAZY!

A few weeks ago a scary looking dog charged out at me, and I was SCARED, OH SO SCARED. I’m not a big “dog person” anyway, and this dog didn’t even have a collar on it. The owner was trying to get it and grab it by the scruff. I was like, “Help me!!!!” trying to stay calm. THANK GOD I didn’t get bit, but boy did I say a prayer when I walked away from that unscathed!!!!

I read Before We Were Yours a few months ago. I loved it, though it was heartbreaking to know that so many families were torn apart in real life. I can’t even imagine going through that.

I read most of my books in ebook format now, because I can borrow them from my library. I can read all the books I want (though I do have to wait for most of them cause they’re on hold), but it’s easy on the budget.

I hope you have a great weekend, Janae!

I bet you would love audiobooks if you like to read while running! They have been a game changer for me. I’ve always loved to read (and love an actual book in hand), but find it trickier to sit down with a book with 4 kids. Much easier to fit in listening to audiobooks. :) You can get one or two free audiobooks if you sign up for a free audible trial (and you get to keep them even if you cancel.) Some that I loved are My Lady Jane, Wednesday Wars, Adnan’s Story (if you listened to the Serial podcast, I bet you’d like that one), These Is My Words, Of Mess and Moxie, The War that Saved My Life, and Code Name Varity. I could talk about books forever, haha, but I’ll stop now. ? Happy belated birthday and congrats on your high mileage this week. You are killing your training! ??

Hi!
I hope you enjoy your rest day this weekend! Have you tried using a single nut butter packet as fuel during running? I recently tried Vanilla Almond Butter RX Nut Butter and it was soo good. I am thinking about taking with as fuel during a run. Anyways, hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!

Amber, that is a fabulous idea! I’ve used one right after a run but not during. I’m going to try it. Thanks and have a great weekend.

I don’t think this answers any of your questions, but I need to tell you about the discovery of TakoSushi I made while in Greenville, SC this week! You can get sushi and Mexican (and/or a burger?!) all in one place. I was in heaven until after I’d finished eating and was TOO full :) Seems like a place you and Andrew woud love!

I’ve never been bitten during a run, but I was attacked by a dog for the first time ever during a long run last Saturday! It jumped onto me (probably more play than attack behaviour, but still scary) and completely knocked me to the ground. I was so shaken up after! But I did finish my long run, and I think the adrenaline might have made me faster…

Happy Valentine’s Day to you & your family! :)

Read Before We were Yours a while back, I’m so happy you’re enjoying it.

I also borrow books from the library and they go directly to my Kindle Paperwhite.

I have a kindle and it’s a total game changer for travel, but I prefer actual books for everyday reading. Sadly our closest book store is over an hour away, so I’m a big fan of the library and whenever I go somewhere that has a bookstore I splurge! I know there’s a super convenient online empire that will ship books to your house in 1 day, but there’s something so special about a bookstore!

And Skye’s open mouth kissing is hilarious! So cool that you have a record here of all their fun stages!

Reply

Luckily I’ve never been bitten by a dog. I own a pitbull and I am super aware of the stigma surrounding them and as a result have worked really hard with training and making sure she is always on a leash (a short one) and generally tell people not to pet her. She’s not aggressive or mean, but she’s a dog and you can never be completely sure what an animal will do. I do everything I can to keep her safe and out of any situation that would cause stress. I would never take her to a race and put her in that kind of atmosphere with people running, shouting, ringing cowbells, etc. If anything were to happen and she were to hurt someone I would never forgive myself. I wish all people were responsible pet owners so these kind of incidents would be greatly reduced.

Several years back I had left friends to run a few extra miles on my own. As I rounded a corner I saw a German Sheppard in a yard. At first he seemed harmless but as I got closer to the house I could tell he wanted a piece of me. He came charging over and all I could think to do was scream from the top of my lungs and was ready to kick him. Thankfully my scream scared him b/c he turned and round and ran away. I booked it out of there so fast! To this day, I’m pretty cautious about dogs off leash.

I just finished reading Before We Were Yours for my book club! I loved it, but it’s based on true events so it made me sad for the children it really happened to!
I love reading real books and dream of having a library like in Beauty and the Beast, but right now we don’t have a library, so physical books take up space, so I usually borrow ebooks and audio books from the library. Also, it’s much easier to read on my kindle at night or if I’m traveling since it takes up a lot less space!
I’ve never been bitten by a dog or chased by a dog! I guess I’ve just been lucky! I almost always run with my dog. When I was training for my marathon, I’d run with her for the first 4-5 miles and then drop her off since that’s her max now a days (she’s almost 8) although she can hike for over 15 miles.
Going to a hockey game and getting a manicure with some lady friends for Galentine’s Day and then going out for a belated Valentine’s Dinner at the same restaurant we’ve been going for the past 5 years! If you are ever in Denver its called Beast & Bottle!
Also my 8.5 month old loves to give those same kind of kisses!

I’ve been bit twice. First when I was six, we lived in a pretty small village, I was so excited to be cycling to my Nana’s by myself (probably only 4-5 blocks distance). The dogs, that surrended me, barking until one decided to bite, were halfway, so I had to cycle back home holding a little flesh from.ny calf, somehow I knew I would need that to reattach haha… Second time I was 16 when a ‘friendly’ pitbull bit me in the ankle. That wasn’t too bad, but still can’t help feeling afraid of some unleashed dogs on trails, some owners get upset if they see you are afraid of their “friendly” dog, most dogs are friendly, and adorable, but barking or snarling shocks me a bit and I have to stop completely and request them to take control of their dog. I know most dogs wont ever attack ,just wish most owners would sympathize when they see someone afraid of their barking dog… Anyway I love dogs and can’t wait to get my own when we have a backyard :).

We get all books from our local library, is great , you can even request them to buy a book if they don’t have it, and it can be any format :).

Congrats to you both for the ultramarathon training, I think you will love the trail races …

I love your progressive dinner date!

I am all about the electronic book. I have one with a backlight so I can read it in the dark. It goes everywhere with me and I use book bub for free books.

I have been jumped on by a dog/tripped by a dog (not mine) and that wasn’t fun, but thank goodness for not being bitten by one!

I am looking forward to a couple’s massage with my guy tomorrow and apparently some relaxing since I’m pretty sure I sprained my ankle after falling this morning.

Wow I wish I could read on the treadmill!! sadly it gives me motion sickness. I like mixing it up between ebooks and regular books but definitely use my library for 90% of the books that I read. Hey. Happy Birthday and super high five on your training – you’re flying!

Question for you or your readers…..could you recommend any sports brands that do gear for petite fit? I find so many sweatshirts and leggings are way too long. Any ideas? Or could you ask everyone for me! Thanks so much. :)

I just read that book last month for my book club. So tragic but such a good book. I usually try to get my books or audio books from the library but sometimes I buy or borrow if the library doesn’t have it available.
