Good morning, I hope you get in a great run today along with some kind of self-care (I’ll be taking some time to read on my window seat during nap-time)! This post is sponsored by KODAK Digitizing Box!
Our new house has more storage area than our last house. Our move inspired both my mom and Andrew’s mom to do the exact same thing just days apart from each other (they must have planned this;). They both returned to us all of the stuff we have been storing at their houses over the years ha! Let me know if you would like me to model my high school prom dresses. Below are some of Andrew’s storage boxes that we have been going through. Our garage is full of boxes from my mom’s house. I think both of our moms are happy to have passed on all of the stuff we have been collecting since we were five and free up some space at their houses.
Within these boxes are thousands of pictures from our growing up years. Even before blogging, I was that person that always had a camera with me taking pictures of everything. I pretty much have every day during my high school years completely documented with pictures and it’s been awesome to go through them. It’s been really fun seeing Andrew’s photos and keepsakes and learning more about him and the things that have been important to him over the years.
Skye really enjoyed going through all of the pictures and even tried to eat a few of them because she thought they were so great.
We have zero digital copies of all of these pictures and videocassette tapes so we used KODAK Digitizing Box to preserve all of these moments. Having digital copies of all of these memories helps so they don’t just get tucked away in storage for decades again or get destroyed or misplaced somehow.
Remember Kodak’s yellow envelope back in the day? I love the KODAK Digitizing Box modern version now:
With the new KODAK Digitizing Box you can convert your videotapes, camcorder tapes, old film reels, photo prints and slides to digital copies!
Junior year Andrew! I always wonder if we would have dated if we went to high school together. Any high school sweethearts out there?
PS this was me when I was 6… I don’t really think we look that similar but Brooke sure looks like my nieces when they were her age.
Andrew teases me because instruction manuals are not my thing. I give up easily when they are difficult (my perseverance with running needs to translate into other areas of my life too) but the KODAK Digitizing Box instructions are so easy to follow. Each box comes with a welcome guide with very easy step-by-step instructions, safety barcodes for every item, a pre-paid return shipping label, and access to a personal concierge to answer any questions.
All you have to do is fill your KODAK Digitizing Box with any of the 19 types (you can mix and match) of media available for conversion to digital and send it in! <— It is that easy.
Andrew was so happy to find this picture and convert it into a digital copy of his brother coming home from serving our country in Iraq. Such an important memory for us to have and share with all of our family members.
Once you send your KODAK Digitizing Box in they send you personalized updates at every step along the way. Everything is tracked so well with barcodes and allows you to keep track of all of your things perfectly so you don’t have to worry.
A few weeks later you get all of your originals back along with new digital drives, cloud files or DVDs. They also send you your digital files through your email so you can access them quickly!
It was like Christmas morning going through each of the digital copies (the quality is awesome) and having them safe and sound on my computer. Below I am with my Mer and Grandad. This picture is so special to me. We lost my grandpa 16 years ago and having all of these photos with him safe and sound is so important. He was a big time runner and coached track and cross country for decades, I know he was there at St. George cheering me on to that sub 3.
I love being able to send these pictures that I found of Grandad to Mer so easily through text and email. Our families were all so happy to have access to these memories now too!
KODAK Digitizing Box is offering my readers 30% off on your first order with the code RUNNER! This is a limited time offer so order soon and preserve these memories of yours. Besides getting this for yourself, it makes a great gift too.

What is your very FIRST/earliest memory? I’d love to hear!
Any high school sweethearts out there?
-My parents started dating during high school (but they went to different schools)!
What’s your workout today?
Do you tend to store/hold onto a lot of things or do you toss/recycle easily?
