I left the house and dropped off Brooke to school (I forget there is a whole world outside of my house at the moment ha)!
I love seeing the way Brooke looks at her new sister.
Doesn’t everyone get back in bed and watch The Holiday at 9 in the morning and stay there for hours just like this:

Andrew went out for a 5 mile run with Beretta!
And then went to pick up Brookie!
I am so happy that sweet potatoes (turkey and more veggies) are back in my life again… bbq sauce of course added after the picture.
Later I took Brooke on a 15 minute walk (we were really into shadow pictures yesterday)…
Win-win—> a little special time for her (this is all a big change for her) and sunshine/fresh air for me.
Candice brought the popcorn I’ve been dying to try and it is even better than I expected!
And Megan brought over my favorite candy that I’ve been missing!
Why sleep at night when you can just sleep all day long?
The nicest people from church brought us dinner!
The Grinch for the 434th time this month already.
This made me laugh pretty hard!
Did you see who will be running Boston in April… Everyone wanna meet up there and we can watch together, this is going to be amazing!

I will not be running Boston 2018 … But hopefully I get in for 2019 with my qualifying time!! It’ll be 8 days before my 30th birthday and what better way to ring in a new decade of life than by running Boston?!
Last movie I watched – Some cheesy holiday movie on the Hallmark Channel. Confession – I can’t get enough of them hah!

Now I must have pizza! I like Papa John’s pizza, but since we moved to NY a few years ago, we are surrounded by amazing pizza places. We get delivery from a local place. Lately we have been into making homemade pizza. It’s so good, but pretty time consuming especially when everyone likes different toppings and I end up making 4 personal pizzas!
My sentence today is : I should have stayed in bed!

My husband is running Boston in 2018. I am super excited to get to see all those pros. We are big Desi fans! We watched The Holiday over the weekend too. Even my now 3 year old (today is her birthday!) sat through it. Maybe not the best movie for her but a small part of me is hoping she will love a good Rom-Com and watch them with me as she gets older. Enjoy all those baby snuggles! Love the pictures so much; so much sweetness to take in! Not really a sentence but I have a story for you. I’m always relaying conversations I have with the kids while my husband is at work. It’s usually not funny until I tell him and then we die/cry laughing. Yesterday I had a foot in mouth situation where my kids asked if the Santa they meet around town is real. I was driving them to school and a bit distracted. Plus, in my defense, we didn’t grow up with Santa in our household so all this is new to my husband and I. I told them he wasn’t and no one really sees the real Santa. My daughter then asked, “If no one sees him, how can we really believe he’s real?” Oh crap, I think. Then I said, “Well, have you seen God or Jesus?” BOOM! :) hahaha. And yes, Papa John’s all the way for me. I love pizza…I could eat it every week. I hope you’re doing well, Janae!

I think I have to agree with you on the Pizza. Papa John’s is my favorite too. Unforunately the location closest to me isn’t the greatest in getting delivery orders right, so I only get it from there if I’m willing to go there to pick it up. There’s nothing worse than waiting for the pizza to get delivered and then opening it up and finding someone else’s order.
I started watching Love Actually but I just couldn’t get into it. We’ll see if I watch the rest of it or not.

ugh we have a gripe with Papa John’s – they continually park in our driveway and they are unapologetic about it. major dislike!
we don’t get pizza delivery, we walk over one block to get our favorite local pizza from a place called pizzatown in park slope brooklyn. if we don’t get it there, we go to artichoke pizza (a NYC chain) which is a deep dish style pizza.
but again, i won’t say no to pizza. there is so much pizza to be had here. we even have social pizza outings to well known pizza places at work. the pizza is amazing here.
Who will be at Boston 2018?
i won’t – i haven’t yet gotten the courage or commitment to training to run a full marathon. but i will be running the United NYC Half that i got into via lottery! really psyched for that.
