lately frozen peppermint patties are my go-to chocolate source.

It was cold this morning but I didn’t get out until later in the morning for a run so it was warm. I had a solo (no baby!) run since my mom watched her. Moms are the best.
I keep making pasta with pesto and vegetables and chicken. It’s not fancy but it fills me up and I can make it creamy for the kids so they like it too.
Favorite source of chocolate? I can’t decide. There are so many good sources but my go to is a chocolate chip cookie.

I ran outside yesterday and it was lovely. Today was pool running and there was a political diatribe going on that I tried to avoid. (I’m there to workout, period).

I eat oatmeal pretty much every day. I switch up the toppings so it tastes different but it’s my go-to.

Right now I’m loving the Endangered Species dark chocolate bar with cacao nibs. We also have the big Trader Joe’s dark chocolate bar. I use it for baking and making chocolate bark. (and snacking, let’s be honest(.

I love plain chocolate bars like Jersey milk.

I ran six miles today on the treadmill. I really wanted to head to the beach but I was on a time crunch. It’s been a bit hot over here in San Diego.

I miss you oh so very much.

I tried to leave a comment that was 6 words. To match your post. I hit submit. But I am not physically able to leave it at that. 6 words and megan just don’t go together.

I am going to be making those nachos asap because they look so tasty! Brooke’s wardrobe is always so dang cute. Will you dress me? I can pretend to be your daughter. It would not be weird at all.

I have a new favorite go to salad for lunch: spring mix, chicken, stubbs BBQ sauce (the best) corn, black beans, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro avocado dressing. You’re welcome.

I will eat chocolate in all of its varieties. I hold no prejudices. I am going to TJ on Thursday. I am sure I will find many chocolate sources to take home with me.

I’m the only person in the world who’s not a chocoholic. But I do like a square or two of good dark chocolate.

Please go to Trader Joe’s and pick up the semi sweet chocolate chunks … And then put them in the freezer … And then enjoy an anytime snack!

Need to try those sweet potato nachos!

Oh my goodness, Brooke is too cute in that outfit and looking so serious as she draws. Adorable!
Favorite source of chocolate? Right now I’m loving Peanut Butter Twix. They’re amazing.

I can’t get over how cute Brooke’s outfits are – she’s more stylish than me!! So cute

My runs have been either skipped or moved to the treadmill because there are at least 3 wildfires burning around us and it has been so smoky. Any day it clears up I dash outside but some days it never clears. We don’t have a chance for rain for more than a week and the fires have been burning for two weeks already! I am itching to run but its been a week since I could outside……

Chocolate would have to be brownies all the way!!

I ran this morning and it was a glorious 37F outside! (Haha I grew up in Minnesota so cold runs are my favorite). I always find that I run faster when it is colder outside, my body just functions better in the cold than in the heat. I did a HUGE hill and killed it. (If you could see me, I’m dabbing right now).
I made Jambalaya for dinner last night and it was awesome so we are definitely making that again soon.
The best way to eat chocolate is a frozen snickers bar – try it – you will never go back. :)

It has been cold here in Charlotte! But I will take it!!! I would rather run in the cold then in the heat!!!
Dark chocolate and sea salt is the best chocolate splurge!!
