I needed my Josse time and it was made even better by getting to do a trail run together for 8.2 miles.
700+ ft of climbing in the first 2 miles and my good ol’ trusty Cascadias (a long time favorite).
Right when we got back onto the running path a squirrel went by us crazy fast and it scared the living daylights out of us and we screamed and laughed for about 4 minutes.
We talked to the guy that started the Wasatch 100 mile race while he was out on his Eliptigo (I should have asked if I could try it… so cool)
We made sure to visit my mom.
And then we went to a splash pad (splash pads take my stress levels down 200 notches compared to pools) and they were making their angry faces for the picture.
Went to Target (and I met the cutest reader while we were there that is here in town from Colorado) and grabbed stuff for Brooke’s bday party—> piñatas are one of our traditions.
Got to work on our house doing random things.
Snacked on Frosted Flakes and peaches (try it) and put on my camping shirt… hopefully we don’t get lost though.
Andrew came home and we were all quite productive;)
We ordered his favorite and then we were off to the mountains to camp.
Here is the recipe from Megan D’s amazing dinner that she made for us—> it was so so good (PS Megan got permission from Kate at Our Best Bites to post this from the cookbook… they are buddies:)
