I had originally planned to sleep in but my body decided that 6 am was sleeping in today. So apparently I’m going to have time to read and have hot tea before I do anything else! We are supposed to be getting rain for the next 48 hours so I’ll probably be doIng lots of indoor projects this weekend!! I haven’t done yoga in a long time so that sounds pretty amazing too!

I like those penguin gummies! Seeing as I work with penguins, folks give me cute things like that a lot………..my favorite penguin shaped food item though are the cheese crackers……..like goldfish crackers but even tastier! (walmart sells them)

3 things: Chatting with girl scouts about working at an aquarium for their career day, going for a run in gorgeous weather, and performing in a play tonight (with the most amazing teased up 80’s hair ever!).

Have a great day!

3 things: hiking, making homemade pizza, and watching Kimmy Schmidt!

I love mixing blueberries and bananas together in a smoothie. I’ve never added a nut butter though, I’ll have to give it a try! Last night I made a delicious tropical smoothie: banana, orange slices, frozen peaches, frozen pineapple and almond milk! Yum, it was summer in a cup!

Three things on today’s agenda: running, shopping, dinner with fam! :)

Today’s plan is spin class, catch up emails, shoot one or two recipes for a client and hopefully write a little for school! We’ll see if I can get it all done. I was wake at 4am this morning even though I had planned to sleep in. Ugh! The struggle is real!

I’m going to my boyfriends house this afternoon to 1. Stay with his 10 year old while he goes out for his 11 mile run (did my long run yesterday!)
2. Go out for an early dinner with his entire family. And 3. Go to his 10 year old’s gymnastics meet and hopefully get some good pics of her on beam.

It’s going to be a great day! Happy Saturday.

I love making chocolate smoothies (with banana) and adding a scoop of the Trader Joe’s cookie butter. SOOOO good!!! I have a feeling that smoothies are going to be my summer staple – I crave them when it is hot.

Three things today – a 56 mile bike ride, 3 mile run, and yard work. YAY!

3 things- long run, manicure, my sons little league game. Beautiful weather today for it!

Recovering from the stomach bug is on my agenda. I thought I was good but lasted 2 hours this morning and then put myself back to bed. I never get sick. My girls are playing microphone and singing at the top of their lungs so napping is not happening! We have our church’s Bug Run tomorrow and my 5 and 8 year old are doing the 1 mile for the first time. When I do get my energy up, Cleaning the house will be on my agenda!

Today I’m just running after a few days off and visiting my friend in San Francisco. :)

Heading to Boston today – getting nervous! I think yoga Fridays are awesome, can’t wait to get back to it after the marathon :)

Your smoothie makes me want to go out right now and replace the blender I broke over the winter. I love smoothies! My husband and I just hit up the outdoor public market with my parents (It’s supposed to be 60 degrees today! Yay, Spring!) and now I’m heading out for a run. Happy weekend!

I have to study all day for finals (I’m a psychology undergrad student), but I’ll make time for a short 30 minutes run! Tomorrow I have a long run, I’m kinda scared because my IT bands are really cranky too! I think I upped my mileage too fast this training cycle (training for a half). Anyways, love your shirt (black one) <3 !! I hope you have a great day!! :)

Planting lilacs, the school play Alice in Wonderland, and playing outside with the kiddos. Perfect day.

I’m hanging out at home again. I’ve been stuck at home sick for the most part of 7 days now. I’m over it. My big goals today are to organize my room and lots of paper shredding.

Three things I got going on today: 1.) 14 mile run which I just finished! 2.) Shopping because I’m meeting the PARENTS of the guy I’ve been dating for the first time and have no idea what to wear/bring 3.) Going on a trolley ride through Chicago for a friend’s fundraiser!

It’s finally warm in Southern Ontario! I’m staring my vegetable garden by digging up old plants and prepping the soil, getting my bike out of storage in the garage and ending the day with a big barbeque with family :)

Happy Saturday!

I went on a three mile run with my husband this morning (we love Saturdays because he gets to be home with us). This afternoon we have chores to do outside (we just adopted a couple llamas), and a general pick up of the house and lawn. I’m making some cards for my Etsy shop and working on a t-shirt quilt for a friends daughter!

Boot camp, done.

My girls love to thrift store treasure hunt. That’s where you find the best littlest pet shops.

Please send Brooke to my house. I have plenty of things she can clean!

Three things to do today:
Work – done!
Roller skate
Bake chocolate zuchini bread

How are your teeth feeling?

Reply

My three things for today:

1. 15 annoyingly windy miles!
2. Going to a pool party even though it’s cloudy… but that’s much better than the rain they had forecasted!
3. Baked brownies before breakfast (for said pool party) and planning to bake snickerdoodles after dinner (for church tomorrow)!

Reply

1. Early Parenting Course – 20 weeks pregnant with our first! 2. Snuggled with my 2 puppies. 3. “Date night” with my hubs (which actually was dinner at a service station restaurant on the side of the highway)… a luxury while our dogs were being babysat for the afternoon since we had our parenting course.

Just found your blog the other day and l-o-v-e it. I’m also a runner and have a disordered eating past. You’re so relatable and you’re a huge inspiration. Thank you! Little Brooke is a beauty.

Happy Saturday!!

My Saturday equals:
Tempo
Teff Pancakes
Talking to my dog

Also, your leggings are the cutest- the stripes are so fancy!

Reply

Three things:

Birthday breakfast out with the family. I made it to 53!
Shopping with my wife and witnessing a 10K finish.
Retirement party for a friend.

Bonus: weeding with my wife in the garden

So random!

A strength workout > suitably overambitious and I now cannot move. Perfect.

My godson’s third birthday > he LOVES any vehicle you’d find on a construction site, so I bought him a ride-on dumper truck. Apparently he woke during the night, saying he needed to check on his new truck, and at 5am this morning I was sent a photo of him sitting on it brushing his teeth. I am sure my friend thanks me for bringing this sleep-depriving toy into their lives, ha.

A movie night in > we watched 28 Days Later (scary stuff), curled up on the sofa with sushi and red wine. This was much needed after a very busy schedule at work last week, and another round the corner. I’m in charge of marketing events in Luxembourg and London this week; lots of 5am starts, 11pm finishes, and a lightening trip to Luxembourg await me.

Brooke is so cute!! Love that quote from your sister.. so funny!

Reply

I am OCD about cleanliness so I love Brooke’s desire to clean the shopping cart! LOL. I’m gonna have to try really hard not to pass my fears onto my kids one day.
